Quaint building. Friendly staff. Room was to a high standard.
Stayed 2 nights. Bed was not made on the second day or restocked with tea/coffee etc. food was very expensive and very bland. Breakfast was included and didn’t stare continental. When we went for breakfast it consisted of toast, pan au chocolate, cereal well if you liked rice crispies/ shredded wheat. Pieces of really cold fruit. Yogurt. No cold meats/ cheeses , croissants, hardly a continental breakfast. No orange juice the second day as ran out. Venison pie had bones in it and was over cooked and chewy.

We were visiting family in newick , then leaving to go to USA so needed somewhere local in the village to stay, staff were friendly, room was spotless, so comfortable, was really quiet and the bed was super comfy, when we come back we will definitely be staying here and this time for more than 1 night ! The rooms are just so unique and feel so cozy and home from home, really is one of the best places I have stayed !

The pub is in a nice location on the village green and is a lovely old English pub that retains its classic charm. The accommodation is behind the pub in what was once probably the old stables.. Both were very clean and well maintained, staff were very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking and the location is set back from the road so it is nice and quiet. We ate our evening meal in the pub and the food was excellent.
There is nothing we didn't like about the Bull it really was an excellent stay.

My welcome on the Thursday evening by Pete and his staff was excellent. My 16 year old Blue Merle Border Collie Bleu was treated like a King by Pete. 2 dog beds, fresh water, lots of meat treats. The pub was beautiful, lively beautiful open fires and the food was excellent, I had the Aubergine dish.
The bathroom in stable 1 was clean but the shower needs renovating. I would not have enjoyed washing my hair in it due to the water flow. Its an old building so has lots of charm, but the bathroom definitely needs attention. The bed was fine to sleep in but a better cosier matrass would have met my expectations. The room was warm when I arrived around 8pm but could have done with some adjustable heating later in the evening. I booked in as a Gluten free guest. The evening meat was lovely but no GF cereal or bread for breakfast.

Good breakfast, ate in the restaurant the night of our stay. The food was excellent with very attentive, warm and friendly service. Very nice location. Comfortable beds, good quality bed linen. Good shower and plenty of soft towels. Very good value for money.
Needed to follow up a couple of housekeeping items but this was attended to swiftly and by very helpful staff who apologised for the minor omissions.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Location was great. Food exceptional on the whole.
The deserts were disappointing but the rest of the food was amazing. Nothing else to comment on to the negative.

Cute little barn conversion with rooms behind the pub. Really enjoyable, value for money accommodation and generous continental breakfast made this a winning stay. Very happy.
Both the exterior and interior doors didn’t lock with the keys provided. Bed, bathroom and decor was a bit basic, but perfectly serviceable for the price and location.

Small twin bedded room was comfortable and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast included in price and was very substantial. Did't particularly need cooked breakfast at additional cost.
Small bathroom. Little difficult washing in sink above loo cistern

Lovely staff, resolved issue with room condition with no fuss. Great menu and food quality/service/presentation. Parking and location very good.
Minor points. Menu could have included more 'light bites'. Did not realise how small room 1 was. Will book larger room in future if staying more than 1 night.

A very well equipped and spacious room and a good menu for dinner in the evening.
A poor start. No warm welcome, rather a query that I had phoned and confirmed arrangements the day before. I had talked to a colleague who had not recorded the purport of the call.
