The room was a god size for the money. Good value, clean and perfect temperature. We arrived slightly later than anticipated and found the restaurant had closed around 7pm. However the bar itself served food that was just as good and reasonable value, with a goop portion size. Shame we didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities, but would stay again so maybe next time.

The mixer tap in the basin was under extremely high pressure. I got soaked several times and so did my girlfriend. It didn’t matter how careful I tried, I still got soaked. What was even funnier, is that we heard our neighbours in their adjoining bathroom having the same trouble, as we heard them cry out at the same time as we heard their bathroom tap turn on. So it seems it wasn’t just our room. :)

It's a great place to stay if you need a stop off before Gatwick. Staff were helpful. Not overly expensive, the room was a good size and not too noisy, considering location. Very close to airport, 8 minute drive. Local takeaways deliver to the hotel, which was handy.

We arrived late, 10.30 pm, so by the time we settled, Bar was closed. The vending machine was offered and found to be out of order. The tap on the sink does not fit the basin, so when we used it, our clothes were soaked through. No air con could be located. There was a vent, but it didn't look as though it had been used for some years, yellowing and dusty looking, and we didn't want to chance it for one night. No USB ports except for the one in the back of the TV, electrics looked dated.

It felt like being on holiday, the gardens were beautiful and cheap accommodation. Staff friendly. Room was small but nice, clean and cosy Would definitely stay again

We wanted coffee in the morning there was nowhere to have it. We were sent around a few places but there just wasn’t any staff around. No hand soap in the bathroom and the shower wash was empty in the dispenser. Being next to the fire exit and the security opening and closing the side door very regularly through the night make it sound like someone was banging on our door/ it was only but if I was alone I would have felt a bit panicked.

This was our third overnight stay at this hotel. Very usefully located for Gatwick airport flights, good bar food, comfortable rooms, etc. This stay was exceptional because of the absolutely brilliantly helpful reception staff. We arrived at the hotel and our car which had been acting up on the short drive from the long stay carpark - in this case a six week stay - became pretty much undrivable. Two ladies came out to help us with the car and found us a place to park where an AA van could access it. All the other staff were also friendly and welcoming.

The staff were brilliant and on seeing my husband’s disability, moved us to a more appropriate room, at the same price! It was a good base for attending an event at the K2. We didn’t get to use any of the other facilities so can’t comment.

The car park is astroclous, very few disabled parking bays. I had to drop my husband by the entrance and park around the back. Something I was very uncomfortable about, especially in the dark. Exiting the car park is awful if there is a coach dropping off/picking up (made us late for our event and almost missed our granddaughters performance 😠). For an older person,like myself, walking through the unmade up surface of the car park was unpleasant and needed wellies for all the puddles. The car park feels creepy at night time. Also the guests hanging about the entrance having cigarettes was rather intimidating.

The pool and spar were just what need after a long trip. I arrived at the pool 5 after last entery but the man let me in and trusted me to pay the £4 in the morning. (I left my wallet in the van) Helpful staff all around. Would stay there again. One of the better hotels I stayed in of the many.. Car park can be busy if you have a big van like I did. But 5 stars for this one and top of my list as long i get at £60

The barman was a misery, I'm never sure why in a busy hotel that they only have one working. Food was due to finish at eleven, we arrived around nine and were told we had ten minutes to order. The car park is a lottery, people were parking wherever they could jam a car in, making it a hazardous trip to find a spot at times

All was good apart from the bed it was far to hard for my husband and I I did express this to the reception and she took a note of it as we didn’t sleep much at all that night the 30/01/25. When we returned a week later and stay we was in a different room number 1160. That was a comfortable bed

It is ok for one night stay, it is pretty cheap compared with other hotels around. So it is pretty modest, looks dated but anyway, it was only 75£ a noite. In other hand the car park is pretty big and good location.

The pillows were extremely hard with a round shape, and the duvet cover was pretty thin. The hand wash sink was blocked.

The lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. Happy full of smiles and nothing was too much for her. It made my day just seeing her smile. The hotel is placed in a great place for the all the areas I was working in. Couldn't have booked a better place. The bed was comfy a decent sized tv. Overall the stay was exactly as I expected.
