The location is fabulous, close to both Crawley and Horsham, the ambience is special, great bar and atmosphere, lovely area for long country walks, cosy cabins, comfy beds and helpful staff

The cabins could do with a full length mirror for us ladies, I have had two really special occasions at Cottesmore and couldn't see my outfit properly. Our lodge wasn't the cleanest when we arrived, there were jigsaw pieces on the floor and under the beds were thick with dust. Condiments would be a nice touch, salt, pepper, maybe little sachets of olive oil

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The cleanliness of the entire property and leisure facilities were really good. The overall comforting feeling of the place was great too. The breakfast was very delicious and filling too.

The beds were uncomfortable and the disabled shower room was not particularly great. The space between the toilet and the sink was very small meaning we would have to sit on the toilet sideways. The floor in the disabled shower room was also extremely slippery that caused my daughter to slip and cut her scalp. Bearing this in mind, the staff were very understanding of what happened and have actioned some immediate changes for the room.

I have stayed at the hotel before. This was my first time in a lodge and I was very impressed. Wonderful underfloor heating, big towels, comfy beds, lovely pillows, well equipped kitchen, including kitchen paper, cleaning things, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee. Great water pressure in the shower and nice to have a bath as an option. It was a real little sanctuary for me, a proper retreat. The gym and spa are great facilities with everything you need and friendly staff. I will definitely return.

Room was lovely, staff were friendly, the pool, jacuzzi and steam room were really nice, small spa area but was a very nice friendly place and everyone was considerate of one another.

Food was delicious, the best burger I’ve had and great value, the resort was beautiful to look out on when seated for dinner, amazing breakfast options served including full English / pouched eggs on toast and more and continental options if having breakfast included with room rate, great place to go, even if you don’t play golf.

I did not eat at the cottesmore but I had a drink in the bar. The breakfast options however did look very appealing and a great selection offered. The room I stayed in, the family room was fantastic with an amazing bathroom which was the best feature of the room for me. Parking facilities were also very good.

I like to use cash when I can and unfortunately cash is not accepted in the Cottesmore. It would have been beneficial for me to use cash in the bar or restaurant.

The location was great. On a golf course, very relaxing. Rooms were spacious, staff friendly. Breakfast included in price. Being able to use the spa facilities. Felt relaxed after using swimming facilities.

Bed was two singles put together. Could feel the split down middle. Better to just have one big bed. Food was okay. Chips cold at dinner. We were in room 26 which shared with another room upstairs. Could be loud with front door shutting/ closing/ rattling.

For room 2 (disabled guests) Mixer tap strange - you needed to put it to full strength to get warm water and got splashed Shower also a pain to get to correct temperature Toilet was right underneath sink No view (hit and miss whether you get one or not) Not huge gripes but still disappointing for price even if included breakfast Unfortunately the morning we had breakfast there was a builder sandpapering the bar at 8.30am!

the stay was fantastic we already knew the hotel but it exceeded our expectations. Uncomplicated check in, we arrived after the reception closed and were still warmly welcomed. Parking right next to the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly. The gym is great, we didn't use the pool but it looked great. The breakfast was great, you could choose between many dishes. We will definitely be back!

Loved the facilities and the lodge design, the location was beautiful and really enjoyed the use of the pool, reception staff really helpful. Daughters loved the green space around lodges.

Lodge floors really creaky, tried breakfast once but disappointed and not great service there. Would be good to have more of whats available or not in the lodge as it is self catering.

Setting is beautiful We had a little walk through the golf club in the wood , sunny day and very peaceful Beds very comfy All room spot on Tea coffee with kettle Very quiet even with a wedding happening at the venue in the evening , we couldn't hear anything. Breakfast was really good ( included)with a choice of fruit juice , tea, coffee, cereals, fresh fruit , and a choice of cooked breakfast too Health centre was great too with swimming pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi , changing room safe and clean. Very relaxing weekend indeed .
