The hotel has a plush feel to it. It is obviously not run on a shoestring. In the lobby and restaurant an army of receptionists and other attendants are there to welcome and serve you. Our room was ample, clean and comfortable. One telling detail: a sign on the bed said that if we found neither of two pillows (per person) to our liking, squishier options were available from reception. The shower was excellent. On the restaurant: while hardly a Michelin contender, it provides decent food in a nice atmosphere – and at reasonable prices.

Our only quibble was the corridor noise. I'm not sure whether patrons are encouraged to keep their voices down or not - but neighbouring guests certainly didn't. I was glad I'd brought ear plugs. An extra door between the entrance/bathroom and the bedroom (as some Premier Inns have) would obviate the problem.

Breakfast excellent. My sons loved the pancakes. Room very comfortable. Staff excellent. Helpful, informative and attentive. Gomez on the front desk particularly -went over and above in terms of customer service on more than one occasion. Location also great for us and Nuffield gym pass at reasonable rate was added bonus.

Wifi was not working properly (weak signal strength) in room-need more boosters further away from reception (we were in room 148) Aircon not functioning. I actually booked this hotel because it had air con, but in the night of second night of stay was hot and went to turn it on and it didn't switch on, which was disappointing.

Every single member of staff was so friendly and helpful The beds were so comfortable The soundproofing was great as we didn’t hear anything The blackout curtains were brilliant Having Netflix and YouTube in the room really helped Room service was great with nice food The breakfast buffet was brilliant as well, lots to choose from The room was very clean We even had baths, which I don’t usually trust in hotels The late checkout time helped We didn’t use the other facilities, but it wasn’t overly busy, which was encouraging for future stays I would definitely recommend this hotel and I already have to friends and family I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, even some five star hotels are not as attentive and comfortable as this one. I fell this hotel does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible especially when travelling.

Stayed twice in a week. Near the airport parking, good size rooms, clean and had everything needed for the stay.

Wasn't impressed that whilst checking in, I was charged £15 parking, and the couple next to me checking in at the same time were charged £12.50. When quering it, I was just told it's £15. Yes, I knew that, but you can't charge someone £12.50 right by the side of me. If you're going to up the charge, be consistent. You can't charge 2 people at different prices when they're checking in at the same time. Wasn't impressed by the response at all.

We stayed here because we had an early Gatwick flight, and the location to Gatwick was excellent. We also popped into town for a bite to eat rather than eat at the hotel restaurant. They had EV charging, which was helpful after a long drive down.

I don't think the parking charges are reasonable when paying c.£100 for a room. We expected to pay for parking as it was listed on other reviews, but I don't think this is a fair charge when paying for the room itself. I understand they charge for parking because people would park here and travel to the airport, but I would urge the hotel to offer free parking for the duration of your booked stay, at least.

Clean and well equipped. Hotel offered rapid charging for my ev. Its location close to the M23 made it very convenient for a long trip in midwinter when ev range drops off.

Rate of ev charging was expensive, but this is a national issue/scandal and not the hotel operator’s fault. The 4 Pod Point rapid chargers are well located in relation to the hotel car park and reception, and at least two were working, so no problem for me as was able to charge for half an hour in the morning. The 8 regular (overnight) chargers (also Pod Point) were nearby but did not have tethered charge cables, so I was unable to charge overnight as I had left my charger cable at home! They did not appear very popular as I saw none of them in use during my short stay one night stay on a Friday night.

The decent size of the executive room. The interactive TV services. Room and bathroom were clean. It was cold weather and cold inside as well. However, shortly after our arrival, the room temperature got comfortable. Restaurant just on the premises. Close vicinity to Gatwick Airport. 🙂👍🏼

Noisy neighbours who were not considering the others, loud chatting on the hallway in the middle of the might and banging doors. Of course it is a matter if common sense. But in the meantime, perhaps some extra signs around the hallways to remind people they are not alone in the hotel and not everyone have the same sleep routine. 🙂

It exceeded our expectations in every way.

I was travelling with my 89 yr old grandmother, we initially booked the accessible room but I found out this can not be set as a twin room, only double. We ended up making do in a regular twin but the accessible room would have been safer and more convenient for us. It seems to me that lots of people with additional needs might travel with someone they can’t or don’t want to share a bed with . . . employed carer, friend, family. It’s took away some of the independence she has at home and I had to be more alert where I can relax more when the setting is better suited. Outside the room was all very accessible though and staff went out of their way to be helpful for us.

The room was very clean, and exactly what I would have expected. Quiet area and not hard to find using phone maps. The room service available at most times was very convenient. The parking worked well and had no issues with leaving the car for 2 days. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in the area.

The flush on the toilet was a bit temperamental. Maybe better to offer small bottles of bathroom stuff like the shower gel and shampoo etc for each customer rather than a big bottle that stays in there.
