Room was huge. Comfortable bed. Great character features.

Maybe a bit of dusting around the room and cobwebs around windows.

Well decorated very peaceful and calm i had the best sleep in long time staff are very welcoming and also very helpful I felt very comfortable also there was stairs as i was on the third floor but what did make me happy is that at each floor there is a rest point where u can catch a break lol also mirrors lov3 them each floors there is one thank you so much

Maybe 2 spoon and more water also 2 chairs would have been nice as the one we had love the design but it was very wobbly maybe chang3 it incase someone felt off it breaks and bathroom would be nice if there was more flooring towels as the water kept coming out with time it might affect the beautiful mables

This property is purely a lodge and does not offer any additional services like dining. I booked this property at the last minute as I had to travel from Cardiff to pick up a relative arriving at Gatwick Airport. They were very kind in accommodating my late check-in and I like the fact that they have an option of self check-in which is very handy if you're arriving late. The guy at the reception was very courteous and nice in welcoming us. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and quiet. WiFi available on all floors. The property is located around a residential area, so you can see the neighborhood from your room. This property is highly recommended if you are transiting through Gatwick and need a place to lodge. It is just about 15 minutes drive from the airport. I will be visiting there again.

The place was quaint and the gentleman at reception when we arrived was really friendly helpful and extremely polite. Massive smile on his face and seemed to be really genuine about making sure we were comfortable and had all the information we needed Throughout my booking communication was amazing. Was staying for one night for the beginning of a birthday celebration They got back to me quickly and in a very friendly manner. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

The only thing I’d say was I feel the bed was a bit too soft for me but that’s a personal opinion and not the properties fault.

The house looks great from outside. I stayed room 301, bed was comfortable, although i’m a light sleeper and every little noise wakes me up, i slept like a baby between clean sheets there. TV was good and channel list was great. Coffee was very good.

Some bathroom areas (behind toilet seat) and under the sink needs proper cleaning. I read someone’s notice about that before, but it seems it hasn’t been sorted out. Also bathroom faucet wasn’t installed properly. It wasn’t very far from the centre, but still needed some proper walk. It would have been great to sit outside and drink morning coffee and listen birds singing, but there’s no seats - but i think a little sitting area would be great for every visitors.

It was easy to access/ check in. The staff are friendly and have good knowledge of the local area. The heating was on full blast so was ideal with winter weather and the shower was pretty decent.

It was clean on surface level however under the beds were really dusty (I found £5 so kept it for the inconvenience). Was not expecting the Ritz from a budget lodge so I’ve still scored them high. It’s fine because it’s just for work but I wouldn’t take the mrs here on any occasion.

We were welcomed by the kindest young man! What a warm welcome we got (didn't catch his name but was so nice) he got us checked in then he carried all our belongings upstairs for us! We were right at the top too! The room was huge! So comfortable. Plenty of room. Bathroom was spotless. Bed and bedding was comfy, cozy and warm. Was plenty of tea, coffee, and even bottles of water. Plenty of storage and room for all our luggage. Place was so quiet. We loved it. Was hidden but gave us a nice surprise when we walked around the corner. Close to airport and in a lovely quiet area. Local transport is 5min walk away as are a couple of shops.

The TV really could do with an upgrade. We watched tv on my phone. Please also consider adding a fridge we brought food and drink and would of loved in the heat the option to put water in the fridge. The only other tiny thing was couple more towels the hand towel we put on the bathroom floor to not slip or a bath matt so got something to soak the water up.

The bed was so comfy, it was nice and quiet, the room was clean. Previous reviews that I read slated the security of the hotel, including that the door is left open forever, which is incorrect (atleast when I was there!), the door was open until 9pm, and every time I entered the property, there was a member of staff there. Come 9pm, the door lock activated and you were told when you checked in what the code was. So I don't see an issue here and I felt secure. Free tea, coffee and two bottles of water were provided which was a nice touch. The staff I got on touch with prior to arriving were very friendly and accommodating.

There were some quirks, shaving panel upside down in the room, missing cover on one of the lights so the wiring was exposed, but they were negligible. Nothing I really didn't like to be honest!

Whilst I agree with many of the comments in these reviews, I think many are unduly harsh. The hotel is a bit dated and scruffy in places, the bed was very soft and it was quite warm. However... Considering the price, there are loads of positives. The room was pretty clean and the bed sheets, bathroom and towels were spotless. It was really quiet and we had no noise from inside or out. It was a little annoying having to call in advance of arrival, but was straight forward. When we arrived, Yusuf was really friendly and helpful. The great thing about this place is the location. Whilst it's not in the centre of Crawley or next to Gatwick, the nearby bus stop has fast buses to the airport and they were every 10 mins even at the crack of dawn when we left. There's also a pub right next door for food and drinks. As a pre-airport stopover, I'd recommend this place and stay again.

I appreciated being given lots of extra milk sticks as I have milky drinks. The wifi had a good signal for the internet. The wardrobe had plenty of hangers inside.

Although it didn't rain while I was there, it would have been helpful to have a coat hook on the back of the room door. I have to have decaffeinated drinks for medical reasons, but they had only ordinary coffee and tea.
