It is very spacious: large, airy foyer, large rooms. The hotel is built on a generous basis. We loved the quiet location on the edge of the golf course. Lovely views across wooded countryside to the hills of the downs beyond. And it has a good restaurant- 2 this time as the restaurant in the golf Club House has been opened to the public since our visit last year. Plenty of parking. The breakfast is always good but it can be busy.

There are not many places to sit outside so if there’s a conference or wedding it can be difficult to find a spot at lunchtime. Some more benches in the hotel grounds would be appreciated. The restaurant is noisy - it is self defeating to play music as the customers just talk louder to be heard over it and the noise escalates. Turn off the background music please and let us have peace.

The breakfast buffet was great. Such great selection, a real treat.

Very restrictive in the times that children can use the pool. Making this difficult for families. They need to re-think this policy. During school hols kids only able to go in from 3-5pm on weekdays. Another slot in the morning would help families and make this hotel a little more family friendly. When not in school holidays, kids are not allowed in the pool at all during week days, even for a short slot!! Its a large pool so I really don't think it would upset adults too much to allow another morning time slot for families during school hols and perhaps a 3 - 6pm slot during school term dates.

A nice location out in the open and away from the town centres. Good views of the golf courses and plenty of parking.

The whole experience was very good however one thing let it down. My wife and I have allergies. When asking the staff if the scrambled eggs at breakfast were proper cooked eggs or from a packet, the staff member asked the kitchen to clarify. We were told they were cooked fresh in the morning and all ok. However when we started eating the eggs, it was quite clear they were not fresh cooked eggs and indeed were from a packet. Needless to say we didn’t eat them. It’s disappointing that a hotel of that stature can’t cook fresh scrambled eggs for breakfast and have to serve processed eggs from a packet.

I had the most wonderful time at this Spa resort. Fabulous welcoming staff who are only too pleased to make sure you are happy during your stay. I had a massage and foot ritual treatment, the perfect way to start a relaxing break. I used the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room too on another day. There is also a well equipped gym. The rooms are a very good size, with all rooms looking out onto the grounds. It is a golf resort too, so looking at the view if you are not golfing is the safest option. I walked across to the lake once the golfers had finished for the day, lovely after dinner walk. There are plenty of lovely places to explore nearby, if you like walking, lakes, woods there is plenty around as well as nearby shops. The rooms are quiet, I slept very well. The restaurant serves fabulous food for meat eaters and vegetarian/vegan too. I ate in the restaurant every night of my stay and had something amazing every time. Breakfast is a buffet, with so many options to suit everyone. This is my second visit and most certainly won't be my last. Probably one of the best places for facilities, great staff and excellent standards. What can I say but I absolutely loved it.

This was an overnight stop for us as we were going to Glyndebourne for the evening. Having stayed here before we knew there was plenty of parking and that although late back the hotel would be open and serving in the bar for a late night drink. The room was perfect for our needs, excellent bathroom facilities - separate bath and a good strong shower. The bed was so comfortable and the tea making facilities were provided. The breakfast was plentiful and although self service was kept topped up with freshly cooked food. All tastes seemed to be catered for.

Perfectly satisfied.

The rooms were a very generous size, the bed was comfortable and although we didn't use it (due to weather) the balcony was a great addition. We requested rooms together (the hotel liaised with us to confirm they had allocated us rooms next door to each other) and we were located just along the corridor from the pool, gym and spa, which was useful. We made use of the pool - large and never over crowded. The gym was fantastic and fully equiped with up to date machines. Breakfast- plenty of choice, topped up and the cooked food was hot. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the food, enough choice for us and pricing- what you'd expect for a hotel. You can also eat in the bar. One of our party had food allergies and the staff were brilliant, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. (thank you to those members of staff). There wasn't anything about the hotel/staff that we didn't like.

Nothing.

The hotel is in the grounds of the golf course and all rooms are facing away from the road and the car park. Brilliant design. The rooms are large though poorly lit but I hope the current refurbishment plan will address that. The shower was a large walk in affair but with minute shelving facilities but no shortage of hot water (eventually). The table d'hote menu was excellent, the food beautifully prepared and served by efficient and friendly staff. Reception and booking staff were also top notch. There is also a fine pool but we were out and about at Hever Castle and Sheffield Park in rare sunshine.

The full English breakfast on the first morning was excellent, hot and on hot plates. On the second and third morning, the plates were cold and even the food fresh from the kitchen was barely even warm. My bacon sat in a puddle of solidifying grease within a couple of minutes and the NAAFI style "nearly" hot water urn was deffinately NOT AA four star. The bedroom was dimly lit with poor bedside illumination for nightime reading.

Great facilities and accessibility (for my wheelchair-user son). Excellent pre-booking call with Chanel to check suitability where she was able to answer my different questions. Proximity of accessible room to the health club was great so I could shower my son back in the room. Staff attentive. All in all a great stay.

The hotel room was a LONG way down the corridor (200m?) when juggling multiple bags and my son’s wheelchair and through (door pass entry) double doors. Impeccable service would have been to offer help through the doors / with bags or to have advised us to park by the health club considerably nearer our room. A request to make the room up as a twin was missed.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed here and it did not disappoint. We had the privilege of staying in one of the newly refurbished suites and it was beyond expectations. As soon as you walk into the suite the opulence just jumps out at you. Everything is to a high standard. Its gorgeous and luxurious. Every thing has been thought out well to make the most of the room whilst being luxury, even down to the addition of the mini fridge, perfect for keeping the bubbly chilled. I also need to give speciel appreciation to the bed and bedding. I have never stayed in a more comfortable bed, and then to have such a thick luxurious duvet was heaven. The whole experience was perfect and definitely our best stay yet! In the morning whist enjoying the views from the terrace we were even able to watch wild deer just grazing about in the grounds. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast is excellent always being topped up so plenty for everybody I did notice this time that you have a very big pot of tea but the smallest of cups so forever filling up your cup But more than enough tea. I would also like to thank the restaurant manager for reserving a table for breakfast for us it makes it so much easier for my husband to get my breakfast as I'm in a wheelchair and we asked for the first table as you walk in and our name was on that table so thank you very very much. Oh those sausages are to die for I wish I could find out what they were called and where they buy them

Doors yes doors if only they could make them automatic it is very hard when somebody is pushing a wheelchair to actually open the door and get in I realise it could be very expensive to all alter these doors and of course to be secure you could still use your security card but have them to open automatically that is the only problem that we have with this hotel but it is the best that we've stayed in my husband doesn't play golf but he loves to go to the gym when we stay at your hotel and we will be back we have been quite a few times and loved it every time thank you
