⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a lovely stay at Crabapple Cottage. The setting is peaceful, quiet and beautifully secluded – exactly what I was looking for. My initial reason for booking was to see my BF’s band performing at Lewes Con Club on Friday, and I couldn’t have been any closer! I also wanted to explore the area, hence booking two nights. Lewes is a lovely, picturesque market town with a very chilled vibe, and it’s only a 20-minute drive to Brighton too. The unit itself is small but perfect for my needs: clean, warm and wonderfully cosy. Felicity was the perfect host – she left me to enjoy my stay but was only ever a text or call away if I needed anything. The thoughtful touches, like bread, crumpets, milk and butter waiting for me, were such a lovely surprise and made me feel really welcome. I couldn’t have asked for more – thank you so much for a truly relaxing stay.

A lovely little cabin, warm, clean, a great space. Lovely bits of food left for breakfast, including real coffee and excellently stocked kitchenette. Small but warm and clean bathroom. I was there for a course, on my own, so perfect for that with a desk I could work at. Just a hundred metres or so to the Main Street so many food options on the door step.

I found it hard to find somewhere comfortable to sit to read, found myself either lying on the bed or sitting at the table. Although manageable for 2 people, would be small for anything more than a couple of nights.

For the price you can’t beat the location and amenities. Bread, crumpets, butter/jam, milk and cereal provided were fantastic and the room is bright and clean and has everything needed for a few days around Lewes.

Hard to complain at this price point, but bed was small for wife and I (we are both very tall). And the heater was a bit of a challenge to figure out - was supposed to be on a timer but after a very cold first night it was clearly not working right. I figured out how to turn it on manually when we needed heat and that solved everything.

Good space and facilities. Very convenient location fair price. Would be very happy to stay again. Breakfast stuff was great. Understand parking issues but no problem finding parking.

Greenery a little overgrown around cabin so sitting out was difficult. We hadn't realised you had a cafetiere so brought our own ( so very small concerns!)

We enjoyed our stay at the quirky Crabapple cottage. The location was amazing for us as we were attending a wedding at the registry office, so absolutely ideal at barely 5 mins walk. Lovely setting tucked down rotten row, so quiet as well which was great. Kitchenette well equipped, with tea, coffee and breakfast items included. Nicely decked out little shower room, especially loved the lights in the ceiling and the tiles. The bed was quite comfortable considering some of the reviews, for us we slept fine. All in all great value and what we needed. Thanks again for accommodating us.

The toilet seat seemed to move a lot, might need fixing or replacing. No other issues really

It’s a lovely cottage, very clean and in a nice, quiet location. Short walk to the train station and very near the high street.

Only improvement would have been to have an armchair, I did feel the lack of comfortable spot to rest after a whole day of exploring.

Breakfast items in the room was great because I was starving after travelling there. Room is very spacious and plenty of light. No more than a minute walk to lots of local bars and restaurants! Everything was ready on arrival including towels, milk already in the fridge. The nice little touches went a long way!

Room could defo benefit from a fan or something along those lines, another option to having the windows open to move the air around. Only thing I didn’t like was the bed but that’s just my preference and because of my size/height I was worried that it would break it haha!

The cottage is clean and cosy and in a great location for exploring Lewes and the surrounding area. You will feel like you are in the most English of England. We really appreciated the breakfast items we hadn't expected. Felicity is a great host.

Comfortable bed, decent shower, pleasant ambience and very kind and considerate owner. Good location in Lewes, close to lots of facilities and excellent public transport.

Very little. I couldn't find a pair of scissors but was maybe looking in the wrong place.

My stay was wonderfully peaceful and lovely. I really enjoyed the vibes of wood cabin and the glorious garden surrounding it. I also was grateful that everything for a proper and nice breakfast was kindly provided.
