Elaine and Steve were good hosts. Very friendly and welcoming and Steve makes a delicious breakfast. My room was at the front. Lovely and big with a balcony with sea view. It’s a bit further down the front from the pier which was a good thing as it was quieter. There is a bus stop close to the property for people who don’t drive or a pleasant 15 min walk to the pier where you could catch the Eastbourne explorer bus.

On my return visit was upgraded to a double room.Large room,which was serviced each day,excellent tea/coffee machine,freesat tv in room.The breakfast was brilliant,loads of choice orange juice,yoghourt,cereal,as regards the cooked breakfast,bacon,sausage,hash brown,tomato,mushroom,choice of egg fried/poached/scrambled and black pudding. Obviously you could have any permutation you wanted,tea/coffee and choice of white/brown toast. Was in Room 3 which had a shower which got up toheat quickly.

Perhaps some background music in dining room could be provided

Elaine and Steve are excellent hosts and made our stay very enjoyable and easy. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a seaview, and very quiet. They provide a great choice of breakfasts, cooked to order, and we had something different each day of our stay. Great location opposite the beach, in a quiet part of Eastbourne, a 5 - 10 minute taxi ride from the railway station. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Room and bathroom a little snug, was fine for us for few nights' stay, but anyone with mobility problems might find this difficult. Mattress on the soft side, but that's personal preference

Warm welcome. Hosts couldn't be more friendly and considerate. Excellent breakfasts. Pleasant room. Superb value for money. Eastbourne and district have lots of opportunities for exploration and entertainment. Recommend the behind the scenes tour at the Towner!

En-suite was a little on small side but soon gor used to it.

The place is beautifully located at the seafront and is a perfect starting point for long walks. The hosts Elaine and Steve were very kind and welcoming. My whole stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and spacious.

Steve and Elaine are lovely hosts, they clearly enjoy meeting their guests, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in Room5, sea view and balcony, exactly as the Web site shows, room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was substantial with a good choice. Cooked perfectly with quality ingredients.

Elaine and Steve are perfect hosts. Lovely couple, Friendly, warm and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and offered the use of a kettle instead of coffee machine. Even said they would order us a takeaway if we wanted to eat in. Spotlessly clean. Parking not a problem. Breakfast lived up to all the great reviews. (Delicious) Would definitely return if we come to Eastbourne again. Loved our room with balcony.

Comfortable pleasant room in a quiet location. Excellent breakfast served to order. Helpful and friendly hosts. Freesat tv, coffee maker and WiFi available in room.
