The 2 rooms we stayed in had everything you may need and more! So many great quality details and a lovely decoration made it feel very homey and welcoming, like being home from home. Breakfast was fabulous. You can choose the night before what you want to have and at what time, so everything is served fresh soon after you arrive to the breakfast room. The rooms even had a small fridge, which was really handy to keep fruit, chocolate and drinks cool in the hot weather. They included water and fresh milk, which was very handy. The rooms are not cleaned every day, but you can ask for anything that you need restocked or towels changed. Gaynor was an excellent host and you can tell how dedicated she is to the B&B. There are lovely plants everywhere and the outside space at the front of the hotel was lush. Number Ninety Nine is a real gem!

The breakfast was lovely and lots of it if you wanted ..cereal..toast..full English..salmon..avocado .vegetarian etc! The room was beautiful..we had the balcony on ours and a lovely seaview..we loved it. We have already re- booked before we left we loved it that much😊. Quite street around..about a 15 mins walk to the pier so was very quiet where we were staying. Dressing gowns in the room which we have never had in a B&B . If we ran out on anything on the hospitalty tray then we could ask for more and it would be replenished. Gaynor the owner is a lovely hard working women. We have found our new little getaway !

We had a really comfortable stay. Gaynor is a friendly and welcoming host. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice. We had a standard room at the back which was quiet and spacious. There was even room for a small sofa, and the shower room was in a small lobby. A fan was provided to keep us cool on a hot night. Importantly everything was spotlessly clean. Moreover it's in an ideal location across the road from the seafront. It's easy to find a parking space in nearby streets. We will definitely be back!

Warm, comfortable, friendly owner, felt like a home from home. Gaynor was an excellent host, even included a bottle of wine as we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. The breakfasts, as previous reviews, was outstanding. Facilities in the room included everything you might want, including a fridge. We stayed in the deluxe room with a sea view and a balcony which was a pleasure to sit out on in the early morning sunshine (even though it was mid January). For once, my feet didn’t exceed the length of the bed (6”3”).

We were so looking forward to our stay at Number Ninety One and we were not disappointed we absolutely throughly enjoyed our time here. We stayed in room 2 which had a balcony and sea view and the room had the wow factor. Our room was so luxurious, beautifully decorated throughout and Gaynor our host provided everything you could possibly need for a superb stay. The room was spacious and so clean, the bed was comfortable we slept so well. There was a large double wardrobe a fridge, microwave, a welcome tray. The tray had such a fantastic selection of different tea, coffee and hot chocolate and much needed biscuits after a long journey. We had a beautiful huge bathroom with a big bath and separate large shower with plenty of nice fluffy towels and toiletries Loved the breakfast there was so much to choose from and a different menu on the 2 days we stayed. I can honestly say that this was the best breakfast we have ever had and the presentation was amazing and such a lot of different choices. Delicious Breakfast Thank you so much Gaynor for being an outstanding host and we look forward to staying again. The only negative was having to go home. See you next year. Andy and Jeanne

Going home.

I loved the property, so clean, every tiny detail was thought out in our room, beautifully decorated, bathroom was gorgeous, flow of shower wasn’t the best but only a small inconvenience and didn’t detract from the comfort of our room. Gaynor was an excellent host and her attention to detail was superb. Location was excellent and easy access to beach and promenade walk, weather was glorious too which was a blessing, breakfast was superb with plenty of choice, I will definitely choose this accommodation when I am next in Eastbourne. Highly recommend!!

Shower had slow water flow

It’s a beautiful seafront house, room was lovely, bed was really comfy, and loved the table and chairs at the window to sit at with a cup of tea and watch the world go by. There is a busy road to the front, but it really isn’t an issue. Gaynor was lovely, and the breakfast selection was amazing, certainly topped the tank up for the day ahead.

There isn’t anything we disliked about the property.

Gaynor was so friendly and accommodating. I had my dates mixed up and arrived a day early but she was able to give me a room last minute!! We had the Deluxe Double room with a sea view and a balcony. The room was stunning. Very big, big bathroom and all the facilities one could ask for! One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and definitely the best B&B by far. The breakfast was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Thank you so much!!! Jackie and Vijay. We will definitely be back again xxxxx

Excellent b & b Nothing was too much trouble for Gaynor even surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco as I was celebrating a birthday during our stay The room was perfect with a lovely sea view, & the extra touches in the bedroom were lovely. The breakfast was excellent with so much choice & beautiful served Was even surprised with cakes one evening Would definitely stay again & recommend to everyone.

Gaynor is an amazing host with her attention to detail in every aspect from the rooms to her breakfast. Gaynor is very welcoming and adds a touch of class to what she does. Best breakfast I’ve ever had. The rooms have everything you could possibly need for a tremendous stay. Nothing is to much trouble for Gaynor she is very accommodating to all her guests. Will certainly be back in fact I will be disappointed if I have to stay somewhere else
