Friendly, helpful staff. Good sized and comfortable period style room, with well matched decor. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Nespresso machine in room. Excellent breakfast. After checking out, staff kindly looked after our bags while we explored Eastbourne area.

Had three problems - these things happen. Shower too hot due to broken control. Manager arranged for a plumber, but they didn't arrive before our departure. Wi-Fi in our room was not totally reliable TV aerial connection unreliable. Even so, we really enjoyed our stay.

The hosts were very friendly & really made us feel welcome. The location was very good, within easy walking distance of the beach & the main restaurants & shops. The room was lovely & beautifully decorated, the bed was really comfortable & everything was clean & fresh. The breakfast was plentiful & freshly cooked to order.

Like everywhere in Eastbourne the parking is difficult & we had to park on the street a few minutes walk away. Anyone with mobility issues would struggle with the stairs if you were on the 2nd floor.

Very clean and well presented rooms, lovely hosts who were very helpful, friendly and attentive. Superb breakfast!! Excellent location very close to seafront. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.

It all worked out well for us but it can be difficult to find parking on nearby streets. However the permit parking is on the main seafront road very close and you can purchase parking permits from the hosts.

wow what a beautiful bed and breakfast from the minute we walked in the door kendy and Corrie made us feel very welcome . we stayed in the Leopold room very spacious clean everything you needed coffee machine hot choc biscuits . absolutely spotless room nothing to fault we were shown our room abd everything was explained nothing to much trouble Corrie told us about the area the best pub and fish and chip shop lots of information about the area where to go Then what can we say about Tvfos breakfast the happy danceing chef who made the most superb breakfast every morning full English lots of little extras we were very spoilt . we would not hesitate to recommend anyone wishing to visit Eastbourne to stay at the Albert and Victoria it’s like going back a little in time you will not be disappointed. this will always be our go to place in Eastbourne

The property its self was very easy to find and very near to the beach front. Inside was kept clean and tidy, and the decor was homely and inviting. I felt welcome from the get go. The couple that run the guest house were lovely and the breakfast was served in good time and was great quality. I loved being able to take full advantage of the full length bath with bubble bath that was provided.

Breakfast menu could do with a couple more options

Lovely spacious room at the top of the guest house. Lovely touches in the room include two small bottles of water, biscuits and tea/coffee etc. The hostess was lovely and even texted us to let us know there were going to be fireworks on the beach in the evening in case we wanted to go. The breakfast was also lovely with plenty of choices.

Attention to detail. China cups. Fresh bottled water in rooms everyday. Maid service ice every day. Fresh cooked breakfast to order good quality food. Fridge in bedroom. Would like to stay again. Fresh fruit with breakfast presented sliced. All very nice.

Room a little small. Will go for bigger room next time.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were accommodating and very kind to let us into our room a little earlier too (we were really grateful as it was freezing outside!) The room was just as advertised, so cosy and full of character. We loved the fact that there were plenty of hot drink options and even a coffee machine. The breakfast was wonderful, with a large selection to enjoy. It was nice to stay in a room with a name, not a number. We escaped from reality for a while and we really needed it! We'll be back for sure!

Communication between Property and Guest was first class. Checking in was so easy and made you feel very welcome. Breakfast was so well.organised and presented perfectly. The best part of all was our Room, we stayed in The Alice Room, the bed was soooo huge and very comfortable, we even had a side sea view. Amazing stay.

The Albert & Victoria is an exceptional friendly family run hotel close to the seafront. Warm and inviting decor to the room we stayed in called ‘Leopald’, which was clean, tidy and spacious. Feather pillows, cotton sheets, Free wifi, a large screen Tv and espresso coffee machine with ample beverages including biscuits and a mint chocolate. These small touches certainly add to the overall enjoyment. The bathroom was well provided with towels, flannels, quality environmentally friendly washing gels and lotions to both sink and shower. The freshly prepared breakfast choice was excellent catering for both the vegan and vegetarian diets with a simple checklist placed on the door for the owners to retrieve before morning ensuring a fluid and fast service at sitting. Access to all rooms is via the internal staircase. Parking is an issue in Eastbourne. If you cannot get a vacant free spot in the street the hotel is willing to provide an overnight seafront parking permit. The owners are a wonderful gracious couple that make staying at the Albert & Victoria a joy. Recommended.
