From the moment we arrived at The New England Hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Audrey, whose friendly and professional manner set the tone for a truly memorable stay. We had booked two double rooms, one with a balcony to celebrate my friend's special birthday, and we couldn’t have been more delighted. The bedrooms were spacious and bright, featuring both blinds and curtains for added comfort. The rooms were immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Thoughtful touches elevated the experience: individually wrapped chocolates on each bed, complimentary bottled water in the fridge, and a bathroom stocked with charmingly labelled toiletries and luxuriously soft, fluffy bath towels. I especially appreciated the inclusion of a shower mat on the door, a considerate detail that made a big difference for me personally. A ceiling Fan, which was so helpful as the weather was hot, and a good-sized TV. Breakfast was a delight, served in a lovely room with views of the seafront, a perfect start to the day. We also enjoyed the inviting bar area and cozy lounge, all tastefully decorated with a stylish blend of classic and contemporary elements. The entire team was attentive and accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel completely at home. In short, our time at The New England Hotel was exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special getaway.

Great English breakfast, lovely decorated suite with two bedrooms and very welcoming owner. I recommend this place not really close to the town centre but you can walk along the beach to reach it. Free parking in the street.
nothing really

Everything especially the breakfast. The room was brilliant and a lovely balcony. The people were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The review I sent being misrepresented and mixed up with another rereview I submitted for a one night stay in London. This is my true review of my stay last August not a stay at another place in London in November.

Forget cookie-cutter hotels! This place truly captured my heart. The staff wasn't just polite; they were genuinely friendly and outgoing, ensuring a flawless stay from start to finish. Big or small requests, they handled them all with a smile. The atmosphere itself was a revelation. Step inside, and you aren't greeted by sterile hallways and generic artwork. This place has a warm, inviting embrace, like stepping into a cozy home. The rooms are sanctuaries of comfort—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed. Little touches like in-room fans and nightly chocolates showcase a dedication to detail that impresses. But the real crown jewel was the bar. It wasn't just an afterthought; it offered a fun and social space to unwind after exploring the coast. Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or enjoy a relaxing glass of wine, they cater to every taste. Plus, the option to create your concoctions added a playful touch. The bar closed early at 9:30 pm, but with so much to see and do during the day, it hardly mattered. This hotel wasn't just a place to sleep but an extension of the entire coastal experience. Honestly, there wasn't a single negative aspect to my stay. This place exceeded expectations on every level. If you're searching for a coastal retreat that feels like a home away from home, with friendly staff and thoughtful touches that elevate your experience, look no further. This place is a gem.
Everything was great, no negative comments.

The rooms were very tidy everyday with something sweet left on the pillows. The interiors are elegant and cozy at the same time. The personnel was of the most friendly I ever met. All of these made our trip to the english cast one of a kind experience! Serious recommendation!
Wish I booked longer stay there.

A gem of a find in a quieter part of Eastbourne with a 10/15 min walk to the Pier. The beach is just across the road. The host is very warm, & very accommodating. The staff are lovely and friendly. Inside is very attractive with a sweeping staircase & stained glass windows, a comfortable lounge to relax in. Very tastefully decorated with a nice ambience. The breakfast room is laid out beautifully. Breakfast has a menu selection which can be tailored to your needs, and very filling. There is a fully stocked bar which has an honesty policy. Across the road is 'The Glasshouse' and if you turn left on the prom you'll stumble across a few lovely cafés, places to grab a very early coffee and places that sell shell fish. Pretty beach huts, princes park, treasure island, mini golf to name a few for younger children. A short drive away is the sovereign harbour which is worth a visit. Highly recommended place to stay

This is probably the best place that we have ever booked on this site. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and replenished every day with everything that we needed. Plenty of storage space, very comfortable bed and a beautiful view out of the window. It was also very quiet through the evening and night. The breakfast was absolutely stunning, there is a wonderful choice and it is cooked and presented superbly. Audrey is a complete star and quite simply could not have done moreu to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. A massive thanks to her and all of the kind and helpful staff who work at the New England. Also, it is across the road from the Glass House, a wonderful place to have a cocktail, a nice glass of wine and even a meal. We had a lovely view of the firework display from there on Sunday night. The New England is an absolutely fantastic place to stay and we will definitely be visiting again when we return to Eastbourne. Thank you.
Nothing.

The staff were all really very friendly. We was gien an upgraded room with sea views and larger room. Breakfast was excellent and high quality well made too. Good coffee. Staff customer servive was top good. Even giving a few tips on wre to go in the evening for a meal or best walks to lighthouse. Beach of course was stones not sand but good o enjoy. nice little green and exercise place opposite hotel by beach. Hotel lacks its own car park so you might have to park at one of the streets behind but was all ok to do. Hotel looks great and many very nice features. A honesty bar for drinks if needed. Breakfast area you over look the beach seafront. Excellent well decorated rooms and all looking well looked after. We enjoyed our stay and will look to book this hotel if we return to Eastbourne in the future. Cheers and thanks to all staff memebers.
