poor wifi in the room due. i asked reception and they advised that it is because the hotel was fully booked with too many people. Now that shouldn't be the costumer's problem especially how much the hotel costs per night. please do better as if i didn't have unlimited data i couldn't have been able to connect to the tv or work laptop. Being advised to come down to the bar isn't ideal as i want my own privacy for the room i paid for. that was truly disappointing sorry.......

The hotel is in a wonderful location, very central and right across from the beach. I mainly booked for the spa area, and it exceeded my expectations - everything very clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated that there are adult-only times for the pool. The bed was super-comfortable and I appreciated that there was a complimentary gin and tonic provided in my room.

Impossible to sleep past 6 a.m. due to noise from the street below (trucks loading/unloading), and ear plugs didn't help. Room was very warm (no air conditioning).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Any queries were answered immediately. The spa was clean and not too busy. The bed was comfortable, and the room was sufficient size for a solo traveller. My room looked out over a side street and was quiet, even though I stayed over a weekend. The bar and restaurant area was lovely and bright with comfortable seating.

The issue was fixed within minutes of reporting on whatsapp (the hotels main form of communication), but the water in the air cooler and fan filter were very dirty. It would have been nice to have a couple more hooks to hang up clothes because there was no wardrobe or closet space.

Convenient central beachfront location. Good spa facilities. Good standard of food in restaurant. Room was welcoming and well equipped. Bonus of a free decanter of gin was a nice surprise.

Rude receptionist on first arrival was off-putting but very helpful staff took over and were more welcoming. Walking into reception which was cluttered with left luggage was not the best impression on arrival. A shaving mirror with magnification would be a welcome addition to the bathroom, as would a full length mirror in the room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful as well as all the facilities within the hotel. I would also really want to highlight the location of the hotel which is truly amazing since it is close to the railway station and directly on the beach - very convenient. In general, we were very happy with our stay and will be coming back for sure!

The only thing which was a bit disappointing was unbelievably dirty window in our bedroom. Since we were looking forward to have a sea view, it was not ideal. The water in the pool was also not the best quality I must say but it was bearable. Even though this was not something what would convince us not to return, if charging extra for a spa and extra for a sea view, I would expect cleaner standard.

The spa facilities are exceptional. We went when we checked in and we loved it so much we went again in the morning! You can spend hours in there relaxing - the atmosphere in the basement is fantastic to unwind. The bed was very comfortable and we had a decent nights sleep. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome.

The rooms need a deep clean, there was a lot of dust on the carpet around the bed. I would have loved to see air conditioning too, as the windows are small and our room was quite warm in the evening. That being said, these weren’t huge issues for us as we spent most of the time in the spa. We struggled to fall asleep as the couple next door were playing loud music, but this was quickly resolved by the staff.

The hotel was in a lovely location. The staff really went above and beyond when we had a couple of hiccups and sorted this quickly. They were so accommodating and made a fuss of our beagle. Our room in the end was beautiful and clean. Spa was lovely, the ladies that cleaned our rooms were always super smiley and helpful. Ideal location for exploring Brighton, lovely bar hotel also with equally lovely staff.

Our first room the air con was broken and fans were useless it was like an oven. Our dog was panting and it wasn't the best start to the stay but we were moved rooms by the next day. Communication could have been better also as birthday and dog accommodations weren't there when we arrived which ruined the sparkle a bit but like I say the reception staff were quick onto it. Also a shame that the sauna was out of action our entire stay. Parking is a real issue but we paid for a local space on just park and were able to pull out car out front to load/unload.

Wonderful property: Room was a good size withe excellent on-suite, and free welcoming decanter of gin (& tonic) The hotel also offered sauna, steam room, small swimming pool, & hot tub - which were very well maintained and offered a great way to wind down in the late afternoon. The hotel location was perfect: Right by the sea front and easy walk to The Lanes offering a wide range of cafes, restaurants and art/craft/jewellery shops. The staff were very helpful, in particular the female staff managing reception at checking-in/out (3pm 20th / ~11am 23rd March). She went out of her way to ensure we had access to full facilities, as well as setting-up a special room booking to help me with an unplanned business call - many thanks, very much appreciated!

GREAT LOCATION... CLOSE TO THE STATION... RIGHT ON THE BEACH CLOSE ... TO ALL THE TOURISTY THINGS TO DO... GREAT LUXURY ... COFFEE POD MAKER IN THE ROOM... SHUTTERED WINDOWS... AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE BED... EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF... GOOD FOOD IN THE RESTA\URANT IF YOU FANCY A TREAT NIGHT. THE FOOD WAS GREAT QUALITY... THE DUCK BREASTS WAS COOKED BEAUTIFULLY... . AND THE SPA ... WOW JUST LOVELY.

IM A LITTLE ROTUND... AND THE BATH ROBES PROVIDED DIDNT FIT..... AND THE ONE IN MY ROOM HAD SEEN BETTER DAYS... HOWEVER... AS I TOOK MY OWN AND DIDNT INTEND TO WEAR IT IT WASNT A PROBLEM... IF ID MENTIONED IT TO THE WONDERFUL TEAM ON RECEPTION IM SUR E THEY WOULD HAVE CHANGED IT ANYWAY.

Everything was amazing! Lovely staff, very helpful and amazing people overall. The room was immaculate, and they surprised us for our 5th year anniversary. Lovely location as it is 10 mins away from the train station, and it is right by the pier - sea front! The rooms are very spacious, even for a standard and clean! Outlets everywhere - easy to spot, full body mirror, robes, and slippers. The spa was fabulous! I can recommend it again and again Will be coming back here for sure. It is worth the money 🙏🏻❤️
