The Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront is the best hotel in Brighton. The Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront is exceptional because of the high standard of customer service and comfort. I stayed in the Executive Room with Full Sea View. This room is outstanding. The breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend the Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront 👌

Location is fantastic and a lovely fresh buffet breakfast. Gorgeous views, worth paying extra for a sea view room

This was a mini break, which covered a 44 anniversary, and a special birthday. At reception, we were given a room upgrade, ( a Sea view ) a welcome basket, which included wine, chocolates and biscuits. On entry to the room we found a Swan sculpture, made from very clever, towel folding, also of red petals. The room was spacious and welcoming. We used the dining room, for dinner, the menu was limited, However, the quality of food was excellent. In addition the staff were very friendly. Breakfast, was buffet menu, it a was a delight! All most everything you would expect. The hotel, is in a prime location for shopping, theatre, and Brighton Pier.

No complaints!

The staff were amazing me and partner was stay for my birthday and the reception lady met me with amazing gift from the Leonardo Royal Hotel which was very lovely 😍 and the sauna and steaming room was impressive that's so good 👍...So will I want to come back, yeah definitely will I suggest to my friends already did they need to have that amazing experience like I did 😀 😊 ☺️

So I had paid in the morning before me to arrive through the booking.com so I had check bill on my phone from my bank account everything was really done and nice but apparently didn't go through to the hotel anyway after when we check out the receptionist call me again and ask me if I did paid for my stay, and how I did pay, so that's its was a bit awkward but anyway I had an amazing stay so I wasn't upset at all, they did sort out after all...

The hotel is in a great location with the beach on one side and the old part of town on the other side, staff were very friendly and efficient , the room was very clean and had a great view of the beach and Brighton pier. Great spacious and comfortable foyer and lounges.

There was a problem with no hot water , this was resolved. The front and back entrances need major upgrades as neither entrances do the hotel justice, the glass and revolving door at the back entrance was very dirty and the entrance was very drab, the front entrance was also very drab and univiting both entrances masking a very nice hotel

We were in Brighton to see Ren and The Big Push Busking in Ship Street. The customer service from all of the staff was exceptional 👏 👌. I started my working life in hospitality, and still work as customer service, camaraderie for and with exceptional customer service is a big thing to me, far too many businesses rely on 'just enough' these days, not the staff at the Royal Waterfront. Without exception, everyone was polite, helpful, and welcoming. We stayed at LRW, because our usual hotel was closed for refurbishment. Whilst the room there was bigger, things like WhatsApp the front desk didn't appeal, (the DM there is epic, give him a job! He changed the name of a cocktail especially for me, and kept it on the menu❤️) Hopefully the attitude of the staff comes from the top down, when you do it right, it really is a rewarding career! And I really, REALLY want to come and stay again!

Only one minor 'infringement'... I needed to use the socket behind behind the sofa. You might want to ask housekeeping to get the vacuum nozzle behind there. I couldn't care less. However, others? not so much, housekeeping is one of the hardest jobs in a hotel,(don't look behind MY sofa!)everything else was immaculate, and they serviced our room, which was a nice unexpected surprise.

We stayed at the Leonardo Royal last year and booked a Superior room which was quite adequate so this year we booked a Superior again but on check in, possibly as we were repeat customers, Teo on reception upgraded us to a sea view room which had a bit more space and a great view so we were thrilled - thank you Teo. We remembered Teo from last year's stay and how welcoming he was so it was awesome to see his friendly, smiley face again this year. Jess in the bar/lounge area was also very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fabulous and we also used the pool and gym whilst there too which was an added bonus.

The lockers in the changing room were very temperamental as you had to input a 4 digit code and then repeat it but it didn't work so I had to leave my stuff in an unlocked locker. Seems i wasn't alone as several other users had had to do the same.

Great location. Comfortable and clean rooms. Lovely breakfast

Having stayed at the hotel on several occasions I was surprised to be asked when checking in at 1 pm (not expecting my room to be ready but just checking in luggage) to be asked if I wanted to pay £20 for early check in!! Surely if room is ready what is the harm in checking in after paying nearly a £180.00 for less than a 24 hour stay. I also was disappointed to find after waiting a considerable length of time to be served in the lounge area that even though two members were having a good old chit chat they were unable to take an order for our drinks we had to go to the desk order and pay on spot. I then had to unfortunately chase for a small food order. Not really welcoming service.

Beautiful hotel. Right on the sea front. Amazing views from breakfast. The breakfast was great. Lots to choose from. The bed was super comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in front of the Lanes. I really hope to come back on my next trip to Brighton.

I loved my stay. However, I loved being on the seafront, but it was quite noisy at night due to the club on the beach being open until the early hours. However this didn’t bother me too much and obviously isn’t the hotels fault. Earplugs were very useful! I did also unfortunately have a really bad smell coming from the drains in the bathroom over night and in the morning. I let the staff know who were extremely apologetic. This definitely wouldn’t put me off coming back as I’m sure it was just a one off and everything else was amazing!

Excellent location - beach at the front and "The Lanes" at the rear, the staff were amazing very friendly and they helped us with sorting the payment for the rooms in a way so the each person in my group could pay individually, They also kept us on the same floor which really helped us to spend time together. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean and looking over the inside of the hotel which was very nice. The night staff went above and beyond to help us with some tea and toast!! We all had such a lovely time here and would love to come again.

The front of the hotel around the doors and glass needs some cleaning.
