Great location, tastefully furnished bedroom/sitting room with views of field and sheep. Kitchenette small but workable with generous supplies for breakfast. Downstairs entrance area useful for leaving large suitcases. There are quite narrow stairs up to the living area. Lovely helpful hosts. Enjoyed our three night stay in a lovely part of Sussex.

This B&B is situated in a very quiet spot easy to reach and is run by very friendly hosts. We found all in order and place as described and the room is bigger than we thought. It is nice and private in a rural setting. The breakfast provided every day we found perfect for the occasion, if you want a cooked breakfast, take 5 min walk down the hill and check in at the Sloop inn.

There was nothing to complain for us.

The bedroom is lovely, plenty of space, very clean, incredibly confortable beds, independent from the owners' house. It is a fantastic location, straight on the footpaths and near a lovely pub. The views over the fields are beautiful. It's very quiet and well appointed. We'd love to be back.

It would just be perfect if breakfast included homemade treats or local produce. We were a bit disapointed with bread, pains au chocolat etc. coming straight from the supermarket all wrapped up in plastic. But there was plenty to eat and a good choice.

There is a lot to like. Toby and Emma are lovely, down-to-earth, friendly people. The room is comfy, light and airy. The annex in which the room is located is separate, private and tranquil. Field Cottage is in a leafy, picturesque area. Pleasant walks and nice pubs are close by.

I can't really think of anything I didn't like. If I'm going to be uber-fussy, then I'd say breakfast could possibly be a little bit more interesting? But this is a marginal comment.

Bright, airy, very clean, comfortable beds. The provision of the wifi code was invaluable A nice range of leaflets to local places of interest was provided along with a detailed OS map

Instructions on how to use the coffee maker would have been useful. A reminder of the postcode on, or in, the very useful handbook would have been useful.

This was a gem of a find to visit family in Brighton, a little out of the way but very peaceful & quiet. The hosts were lovely & made us feel very welcome providing us with ample breakfast of cereal, porridge, granola, croissants, bread, butter, jam, yoghurt & milk along with tea & coffee 😃 The accommodation was spotless & very comfortable separate from the main house with our own access.

Not much to dislike at all, although a bathroom bin would have been a nice touch, instead of using the kitchen bin, but by no means a complaint!

Very welcoming hosts. Superb room and facilities. Brilliant location. Breakfast provided in room so complete flexibility! The room is best described as a mini-suite with comfortable seating area to watch TV and a small separate breakfast area. Very quiet and peaceful location. Good pub just up the road!

Lovely apartment with gorgeous little view. Very peaceful location. A little basket of supplies in the kitchenette was much appreciated.

Struggled to get 5g for google maps (satnat) to help navigate the roads from the location

It was a small suite rather than just a room. Fridge and microwave very useful. Good parking. Good extras supplied such as fresh milk, quality coffee bags. Good Wi Fi. Nice welcome - helpful hosts.

Main problem that would discourage us from going again was total lack of mobile phone reception. We think a landline extension is needed in case of emergency. Minor point: due of position of bed can't sit up to read.

Field Cottage was very peaceful, cosy and comfortable. Emma made us feel very much at home and was very helpful. She provided a great assortment for a Continental breakfast. The Sloop Inn which was basically next door, 3 minute walk, was very handy for dinner and had lovely meals and friendly staff.
