A really lovely, cosy hotel with a boho vibe that really suits Brighton. The staff were really lovely - so attentive and friendly to me and my 10-year-old son. The location was brilliant - 300 steps from the seafront (we counted!) and just round the corner from a really good selection of restaurants. We even came back to the hotel later in the day, after checking out, to have a final drink in the lounge before heading home. A fab stay, thank you!

Nothing really - the lift is titchy and ramshackle but kind of adds to the charm!

Lovely room, nice view for the second night I was really impressed with the architecture and rhe interior design. The staff had an easy going but professionally accountable attitude. I think they encourage you to make the beat put ofnyour stay.im.very glad that I chose this residence for my short stay it was a good help to me and a little of what I needed to relax and to have a break.the staff were friendly and although quintessentially English they were welcoming g to all nations as I am not quintessentially English but from the UK. I also thought that their breakfasts were very good.top I would aay having an open kitchen for ervjce was a really good part of the design of the downstairs.the garden was good too the court yard atvthe back. Thank-you there are rooms rhat are ideal for hen parties to Brighton as well. Many thanks to the really understanding staff o. Call during the time.

Not too much that I didn't like.it all seemed quite good but the wi fi that I have on my own phone the signal didn't reach tithe first room that I was staying in there was no signal. But apart from that a lovely place to stay beautiful surroundings on my second night the room yhebat I had was just perfect for me ,and my needs thank you again " thr artists reaidence".

The beds are super comfortable, and this, to us, is the single most important thing in any hotel. The design is quirky and bohemian and we love it. But above it all they have great staff and you feel at home. Great restaurant recommendations too. This is our second stay and it won’t be the last.

It's very charming. Comfortable room and lovely places to hang out and chat with friends and have a cocktail. Must amusingly was the staff who were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Such a great cozy place full of character.

Made to feel very welcome. Hotel was very cool, I loved the art.

Room was very small and the bathroom sink kept flooding because it was the smallest sink I'd ever seen!

Great location, lovely accommodation and attention to detail. There was everything you could need with regards refreshments and extras. Staff lovely and friendly.

The bathroom door in our ten room didn’t close properly which was the only slight let down.

Amazing property. Had a great room with a view of the old pier. Really comfortable bed, all full-size toiletries and a very well stocked mini bar supplied. Hotel also has a lovely relaxed bar you can spend time in. We opted to have breakfast too which was so tasty. Such lovely friendly staff. Will definitely come back.

An amazing little gem of a room with a fantastic view. The bed is very comfortable tiny room has facilities, perfect if you’re going out in Brighton. The hotel itself has a lovely bath and good location opposite the car park which is separate and you have to pay for.

The bathroom has a sliding door which doesn’t close fully so you could hear someone going to the loo etc. if you’re not shy no problem it’s a little gem of a room!

Always great to find a boutique hotel which offers that little bit of difference. Loved the concept of an artist designing each room. Ours did not let us down and had a great little balcony to sit and just enjoy the outlook and sunshine. Hotel had lots to offer the visitor or the business person. Breakfast was delicious. Staff brightened your day- you were lovely lovely! A place we’d come back to again and would thoroughly recommend!

What a gorgeous little hotel - it was super homely and everything was of a really gorgeous quality. The bed was really comfy and breakfast (not included but definitely worth getting) was so tasty! Every member of staff was lovely as well and the location and views are brilliant.
