We stayed on Upper level room 3 on the 21st-24th of August. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bathroom was even spacious. The bedroom having a ceiling fan was great even though we did not have to use it. The bed was comfortable.

I am going to give feedback, not necessarily what we did not like. To enhance the experience of customers, the owner could: 1. Have a long wall mirror installed. My wife struggled without one. 2. Have a place to hang a few clothes. A cubicle in the corner could be useful for this. 3. Lastly, more so for the landlord to serve pennies on water waste. The shower mixer takes time to release warm water. You have to turn it all the way and wait for around 3 or 4 minutes for hot water to come. When it does come, it's too hot. Adjusting it to the correct level is not easy. Admittedly, the landlord may not have used the shower and would not know without us customers giving feedback. May I make it clear that this is not a complaint by any means but a feedback.

Very Clean and bright - could smell cleaning products when we walked in Good location for Worthing.and Arundel both Just 15 mins away Central within village area for food..great pub in The Gun for food.. staff very friendly and accommodating

Single bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress is very thin. Creaks badly with movement such as turning over The Bathroom had recently been refurbished but the door didn't shut and there was no towel rail Small shaving mirror only to do hair. Watch your feet outside.. inconsiderate dog owners!

The location very quiet, lovely little village and a lovely little cafe for breakfast called D Dees just a few yards away

Had a few issues with the bathroom contacted the owners that could've been a bit firmer spit soft for us could've done with a full length mirror and somewhere to hang some close rail on the wall by the telly would be fine. Wi-Fi was good, but even though we were on the main road, it was very quiet. Didn't disturb us at all would stay again.

Lovely wee place, and it's great for an overnight stay. Would recommend 👌 (the bedding could've done with an iron, though) parking is easy. Pubs nearby.

The fact that the check-in is not until 4 pm. I found the proprietors a bit off hand when we wanted to check in earlier. The rooms seemed to be cleaned ready. I don't see why they couldn't give us the key code early. We had driven for some time and wanted to freshen up before we went to a family gathering. Unfortunately, we couldn't. It's a shame this is the only thing that lets it down. It's a lovely place.

Beautiful village, with 3 pubs, the manor restaurant, post office, cafe and nice and quiet. A lovely easy walk to Cissbury Ring, wonderful views from the walk around the ring. Easy drive to Arundel, Worthing, Fishbourne with it's fantastic roman villa.

The accommodation was fine, no fridge but compact. The only minus was the pubes in the shower before it was used and the hair in one of the mugs. Maybe put another bowl to add to the one that is there or remove a spoon.

The bed was for me the right height and the right degree of firmness. The shower water pressure was good and the water suitably hot.

For me, a grab handle/ bar in the shower would be very beneficial as there is nothing except the water pipes to hold on to to help keep your balance. The little poof/ stool was of no use to man nor beast. A normal chair would be of far more use.

Great location in a lovely village. Very clean and comfortable with a good shower. Good eating options near by and parking on site

The only small issue was water on the bathroom floor which seemed to increase over the stay. Not sure where it came from but only there one night so put up with it.

Great value for money, comfortable bed, heating works, all the basics provided and Dee, Dee's cafe across the road does a fabulous breakfast. Great to have parking just outside and access was easy.

Would benefit from a small fridge, there is only a kettle and microwave, some crocks as advertised. All other basics are there and the chalet is charming. We are not ones for complaining but the carpet needs a thorough hoover and spring clean, in particular underneath the bed and skirtings, this was a shame as everything else was clean, so it let the side down rather. Is the hoover being used in need of replacement, perhaps, just a thought, a deep spring clean would make all the difference. otherwise well maintained.

Great location, quiet, perfect for a relaxing holiday, clean room, has all amenities, very comfortable beds, we slept like babies 😊

the only downside is the smell of humidity, but apparently this is a problem in many small hotels in England

Comfortable bed, good shower, all very clean. (Bed and shower are 2 of the 3 things on which I judge a stay - the third is breakfast but as it was a room-only stay this didn't apply!) The staff contacted me before I'd even got home about something I'd left behind and sent it back to me.

The room met all my needs.
