Firstly the building is beautiful, then the room! It was also beautiful, I was given a room with doors that opened onto a pretty garden path with flowers and bushes....heaven. I unpacked and went for a swim in the pool....heaven!! Warm, surrounded by lovely decor and furniture in keeping with the Georgian theme of the building There is also a mini gym and sauna, I used the gym. I was impressed by the fact I could have used the bar until late, but I didn't! The staff are helpful, polite and friendly. I had a great selection for breakfast, and the young waiter was so welcoming and polite to me. I am super impressed by this hotel and would definitely return whenever I can. Incredible value for money.

This hotel is an older building with plenty of character, wooden panelling, antique style chairs with a conservatory extension for the dining area. Plenty of parking right outside the hotel, swimming pool/gym/sauna, refurbished rooms to a good standard, free/easy access Wi-Fi. Cooked breakfast to order with various menu options and a limited buffet from 7.30am. Staff friendly and helpful. Last dinner booking 7:45pm but there are takeaway and pub options in the village 5 minutes walk away. Last orders in the bar 9:45pm. Quiet overnight. Invoice emailed on request before departure.

No lockers in the changing room for the pool/gym, but I did have it entirely to myself. Beware of traffic delays if heading east towards Shoreham/Brighton at rush hour, although this does not apply in most other directions.

We have been coming to Angmering Manor for many years, and we have always enjoyed this hotel for its situation and its old-fashioned charm. The hotel is now being managed by the lovely Kayleigh, and this has improved our wonderful experience even further. All the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and polite. This small team of people worked hard to make our stay pleasurable. The food is excellent, breakfast is a mixture of hot and cold choices, and the evening restaurant offers a lovely selection of tasty options. The rooms are in keeping with an old manor house and are kept clean with a daily maid service. Highly recommended.

I liked the setting. Quaint village. The manor it's self is oldie woldie and the history of the place is very interesting. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Treatments were booked separately with Stephanie, who was lovely. I had the most amazing massage. It was my friends 50th so I wanted everything to be lovely for her. I had to ask for robes which apparently were only for bridal suites. They were however sourced for us. Treatment and then high tea. So far so good.

I think the hotel could have warned us in advance that there was a show on that day and that the restaurant was fully booked. There were two pubs down the road, but the reason for the overnight stay was for a relaxing spa day. The following morning was horrendous as I personally just felt in the way. A wedding was to be held at the Manor and everyone was busy rushing around to get ready for the event as we were trying to have breakfast.

Lovely building . Super staff . Comfortable room . ( albeit very warm , a fan was supplied !) Breakfast tasty . Pool superb. Overall, it was a delightful stay and would definitely come again . The staff were very helpful and accommodating.

In our room the proximity of some things were odd. The soap dispenser was high above the sink and thus didnt work well. The main light switch was at the rear of the bed so when entering room at night we had to shine phone torches to avoid tripping . At breakfast ( which was tasty) juice and crossiants ran out and went un noticed, this was a shame as not everyone could benefit from having them . On asking if there was more we were told crossiants would take 25 minutes to heat up ?! We tried to use the sauna but it really wasn't hot or steamy , we mentioned it and a member of staff came to look but didnt improve , the sauna was nice just not hot enough . We did notice gaps in the wood work which would be letting cold air in . This was disappointing.

Our stay at this beautiful hotel was absolutely exceptional; the cleanliness and attention to detail truly stood out, and the staff, especially Tom and Kayliegh the manager, provided outstanding and attentive customer service that made us feel truly valued. The delicious, well-presented food delighted our taste buds, while the amenities, including the swimming pool, steam room, and gym—added extra convenience and relaxation to our experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud, and the spacious, pristine room with charming matching furniture created a perfect retreat. We can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel for another memorable stay! Thank you 😊

That we did not book two nights!

The location in a very pretty village. The beautiful architecture. Excellent breakfast. The pool.

Booking.com stated that we would be provided with bath robes and slippers for use of the pool and spa but the property said that this wasn't practice unless we were in the honeymoon suite. This was a big inconvenience as we purposely didn't bring them with us. The changing area was poor. We were told that there was only one slot left for booking an evening meal but we were alone in the dining room which ruined the experience. The food was expensive and the portions were small.

This hotel was exceptional. I hadn't planned in advance, so I hadn't researched as I usually do, so I was extremely happy when I arrived. It's a beautiful, old building, with lots of original features, as well as modern additions like the wonderful swimming pool. The garden was beautifully tended and very tranquil. There was plenty of parking, the receptionist was lovely, and made me feel very welcome. The room was big, had a great hospitality tray, a really comfy bed, and was very quiet. The bathroom was also big, with large fluffy towels, a hairdryer, a great shower, soap, and shampoo. There is a restaurant onsite but I had already eaten with friends. The breakfast options were vast with full English, continental, cereals, pastries, yoghurt, and fruit. You'll not go hungry at breakfast! The village is very pretty, and there are 2 pubs, takeaways, and a mini supermarket. It is only a 10-minute drive from Arundal, a 15-minute drive from Worthing, and a 30-minute drive from Bognor Regis. I'd definitely stay again if I was in the area, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing not to like.

The room was excellent with good space and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was also very good and the evening meals we had were also very good. No complaints! We were very impressed with all the staff. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and the waiters in the restaurant and the cleaning staff were all excellent.

The only comment I would make was that the sound proofing could be better. We could hear some noise from other rooms. However all noise stopped at an appropriate time so it was not inconvenient for us. With less considerate neighbours there could have been an issue.

An old timber-framed building, with a lot of character, well-adapted to modern use. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and well-furnished, with attractive views of the surroundings, and the bed large and comfortable. The plumbing is somewhat idiosyncratic: you can find the toilet flushing spontaneously, but maybe this is to be expected in a building of this age. The swimming pool is attractive and clean, and the garden, though the weather during my visit was too cold to sit out, would be pleasant in summer.

Unfortunately the sauna had not been regulated and had over-heated, making it unusable, and making the adjacent exercise room uncomfortably hot. The cold tap in the bathroom washbasin was not working so water temperature could not be adjusted. Breakfast was generally good, but there could be a few improvements eg coffee was sometimes too weak, fresh bread, rather than packaged sliced, and the pastries would have been better if warmed up. We found the evening meal disappointing, but maybe it just wasn't our day.
