Location of this property is perfect, everything we needed was nearby, shops, bus route, train station. The property itself was lovely and as soon as we walked through the door, I knew that, should we return to Chichester this was the place I was booking. We had an amazingly warm welcome the minute we stepped through the door and the staff went above and beyond to help and meet all our requirements. Breakfast was outstanding with a range of different choices to suit all. Thank you to all the staff at the Chichester Inn that made our stay even more enjoyable, can't wait to return.

It was warm and comfortable. Bed gave my back a comfortable and peaceful rest. There were no excess noise, despite being on the Westgate location roundabout of the city walls circular ring road and "busy" bus route down West Street to the city centre. It is literally 2 minutes walk to the Cathedral, 30 seconds to the Bishops Palace Garden rear gate. We went to the Festival Theatre one evening, it was 10 minutes walk so very convenient. The pub has Excellence Awards every year to at least 2020, for the Real Ales on offer. During our stay I sampled 3 different hand pump Ales - all excellent, well kept and drawn. There was also extensive selections of other beers, lagers and spirits - 20+ Gins. Breakfast was a treat, yoghurts, pastries, 8 different items to comprise a full English - other options available - and was superb, set us up for the day. There is a small car park to the rear taking about 9-10 cars, but be careful if popping out for the morning, we made the mistake of trying to repark at 1pm (lunchtime it was packed!!). There are currently major road works taking place on the roundabout out front, (June2024 - Early 2025) but they were only working 8am-4pm, and the noise not excessive. I consider its very close proximity to the City Centre to be excellent value for money.
Nothing springs to mind.

Great service and straightforward choice at breakfast. Food cooked from scratch and of a high quality. Marmite available(!) together with good cafetières of coffee which were replenished. Nothing was too much trouble. Location easy to access and also walk in to the city from. Car parking available and hassle free. A warm welcome on arrival….cases taken up to room and brought down on leaving. Friendliness and superb service from all staff. Spotlessly clean.

Friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and it was nice to have tea/coffee facilities, a fan and plenty of storage which, for a one night stay, I didn't need, but good to have for a anyone on a longer visit. Breakfast was great! Good selection of food on offer - cereals, dried fruits, cooked options etc. The location was brilliant - 5 minutes walk to the centre of the City - Cathedral and shops and approx 15-20 minutes walk to the Festival Theatre. Great to have on site free parking. Nice pub garden.
The shower room was nicely kitted out with complimentary wash products but the shower itself was a bit useless!

The location was great and although we were near the road it was not at all noisy. It is a good old pub and not a boutique hotel so no lift. We loved the open fire and the character of the place. Breakfast was good including strawberries. All the places we wanted to visit were nearby and a pleasant town centre. Especially happy to be able to park behind the Chichester Inn - access is not off West Street but off A286.
No complaints - only the staff were working 100 mph bless'em

The inn was literally right in town so it was an easy walk to all the places. Nick the owner met us and helped us check in. The bar is terrific and the service was with a smile. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! The best English breakfast we ate by far while we were in the UK. Also the car park was a dream!!! Parking in Chichister is a pain in the neck. The car park for the inn is adjacent to the inn and it was free and plenty of room!!
A fan in the room would have been nice. It was just a little warm. But I would imagine on a really warm summer day, the room could be HOT

I arrived FAR later than expected (03:00 AM) after a very long, delayed flight & a long drive to get to Chichester. The Staff couldn't have been more helpful, understanding, kind & incredibly flexible. I cannot express my gratitude after having been awake for so long & being able to fall into Bed & into a deep sleep without any problem at all. My stay here was exceptional & I am incredibly grateful for the kindness of the Staff. Thank you.

Located just a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral and city centre. A folk group was meeting in the back bar and they played and sang and danced and made the evening for us. Our host was friendly and helpful. We are vegetarian and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Not the usual cooked breakfast without the bacon and sausage! There was a delicious homemade marmalade to go with our toast. And we were given umbrellas so that we could enjoy a walk in the rain. Excellent value for money. Thank you to the Chichester Inn.

The hotel was very central to Chichester and easily accessible to the theatre. The staff were very helpful with our luggage as my husband is disabled. They carried it up to the room on arrival and back down on our day of departure. The food in the restaurant was nice and the breakfast exceptional. The bed was very comfortable.
The size of the bathroom was rather small compared to the size of the room and I didn't like the bare floorboards with no mat to step out of the bed on.

Excellent location in city centre with its own parking. 15 minutes walk from the Festival Theatre. Pleasant 18th century pub which has kept its traditional feel so some quirks such as narrow stairs and uneven floor. It hasn’t been over-modernised. Plenty of choice for a freshly cooked breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend.
