The hotel was really well decorated, clean and tidy. Beautiful character property in a perfect location. Breakfast very good but didnt proactively offer juice or toast. Minibar good value.

Size of the room (room 11) could have been bigger. Cold bathroom radiator that rattled. While it was New Years Eve, the hotel wasn't full and the price was somewhat high for the room space.

Friendly and attentive owners . I was upgraded from a single to a double room when I arrived and the room was amazing. Great showers and plenty of space in the room. The room overlooked a side road so no noise ( room 11). Breakfast in a nice room looking out into the garden. Huge range of food all freshly cooked to order. Home made crusty bread baked by the owners and fresh ground coffee was a nice touch All the produce is locally sourced. There is a nice bar with comfy chairs and a mini bar in the room that is very cheap. The weather in Chichister was sunny and warm and the pedestrian walk ways in the town were a delight. Plenty of nice restaurants and pubs..all within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. All in all a pleasure staying at this hotel . I will definitely stay again and I would recommend.

Nothing to dislike.

The East Walls Hotel has an excellent location for visitors to Chichester. It is in a quiet location just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the town and also within walking dstance of the Festival Theatre. My wife and I had the garden room, set in the hotel's lovely walled garden. The room was impeccably clean, well-lighted and comfortable, with a very modern bathroom. Breakfasts are outstanding, with great choice and individually prepared on the spot. Our hosts were very hands-on, friendly and helpful. A highly recommended boutique hotel.

It was a lovely Georgian hotels run by a pleasant and considerate couple. The hotel had ceased using Booking.com two weeks previous to my arrival, although Booking.com had still extracted the cost of my stay after that. It seems that they have a ‘Computer says no’ attitude. I had to pay the cost of my stay directly to the hotel, however the proprietoress helped me me to claim my money back from Booking.com. On my first night I proved technically inept to access Freeview channels on the TV in the room. I mentioned this to the management, who immediately moved another, larger, room were the TV was within my limited technical abilities. They did not charge extra for this.

Just as the case with my other say [see previous review] this really is a lovely place, with Anna the hostess being so kind. I had a room on the ground floor this time - very pleasant. There was a great TV but unfortunately it did not work for some reason however I would not deduct points for this as I am sure it will be fixed before I stay again. Fabulous breakfast. I had a cooked breakfast and granola and toast and the lovely fruit selection. Can't wait to return.

All well, apart from the minor issue of the non-functioning tv.

We have just returned from an overnight stay at the East Walls Hotel. It is a beauitful hotel in a perfect location on a quiet road. We had a large room at the front of the property on the ground floor. The owner and all of the staff were very welcoming and could not do enough for us. We love Chichester and go a few times a year, next time we will be staying at the East Walls Hotel. There is a large choice on the breakfast menu, all cooked by George the owner. Porduce is all locally sourced and the bread is freshly made! It was perfect.

Excellent choice for breakfast. Room was clean and tidied each day I was there.. I booked late so unfortunately had to have a single room but it was comfortable. Good location for walking into Chichester.

A more friendly approach. On arrival no one around, no reception desk as such, so stood waiting to be booked in. I think more training for breakfast staff. Chef Sunday-Wednesday,had a good morning greeting, food was cooked well. Once served with breakfast by the girls, you weren’t asked if you would like more coffee. On my first morning, there was no one around to say thank you or anything, the room was empty. Improvement on customer service. No parking at the property,this was stated in the hotel information,but the car Park prices were quite high

The owners Anne, her husband and daughter were great. My 4th time in the UK and their hospitality and friendliness, encourages my next return.. I'm from the States near Philly CE Maersk Container Ship, US Merchant Marine. My second UK cycling tour, last was '24 Pan Celtic Race. I picked up a new bike from UK Gloria Cycles, after quick run down in London shot down the coast to meet up with the 2025 Vuelta in Spain from the Plymouth, UK to Santander Ferry.

We visited for the festival. The room was great, with a bath in the room opposite the bed, which was unexpected, the breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were the nicest couple ever, the dining room furniture was so chic.

I didn’t like the walk in shower with no barrier it made the whole toilet full of water, but it wasn’t a big thing, it just made it a bit difficult for my partner who went after me. On a second thought, I guess I should have used the bath.
