Calm, relaxing stay in the countryside with a warm and friendly welcome. The facilities were excellent, our room was exceptional with beautiful views, and the breakfast was delicious. Great walking routes, took us 40 mins to the city centre cross country and a gorgeous quayside with a fish gastropub 10 mins walk. It was also easy getting a bus to Chichester (although this did require a short walk across a field, no issues for us but those with mobility issues would need their own transport). We'll definitely come back! 😀

The setting is so beautiful, very calm and peaceful with beautiful surroundings, you can tell it’s a very loved place. The house itself is stunning and spotlessly clean. I felt like a princess the whole time I was there, Hayley messaged with helpful details the morning of arrival, Matt greeted me warmly and helped me with my bag. Sarah was very sweet and helpful too. Bonus points for getting to meet the family dog as I was sitting outside enjoying the evening! The bedroom was huge with everything you could ever need (great water pressure in the shower too), really comfy bed and again - everything was immaculately clean. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the breakfast… ooft! So good. Important to note - lovely coffee too. The main thing I kept thinking is “I feel like such a princess”. Thanks so so much, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s thinking of staying nearby. I think I’d even make the trip especially to come back.

Beautiful old property which is extremely peaceful. We stayed in the Garden room which was huge and sunny with a lovely attic ensuite and a free standing bath tub. The breakfast cooked by Matt was exceptional, fresh top quality ingredients, all piping hot. My husband rated this in his top 3 ever best breakfasts ! A great place to stay, we thoroughly recommend it.

Initially we were slightly confused where the entrance to the house was, but Matt came out to meet us and directed us straight away. Maybe a small sign pointing to the entrance may help bit it was no issue.

The property is beautiful and our room was very large with a lovely oversize king size bed with all the accessories you’d want in a room from mini candies to tea and coffee, a little milk in the fridge for us for the evening, beautiful views out the window. The owners were easy to communicate with when I had questions we were greeted nicely and he helped me carry up our bag upstairs. A lovely young lady prepared a full English breakfast and the breakfast room was very nicely decorated. I’ll attach a photo of a lovely horse screen in canvas in the breakfast room.

Large room, comfortable bed, location was pretty and a close walk to the local pub, freshly cooked breakfast with tasty bread. Check in was swift once we arrived.

Lack of information for local places - some guest information would be helpful for places to go nearby. Would be helpful to have clearer directions - ones shared via text were brief and we were not 100% if we were in the right place. Hosts were quick to come and find us. Breakfast had some animal hairs in it - otherwise good!

This beautiful farmhouse was absolutely stunning. The location was perfect. We chose this because we were meeting friends at a nearby pub, which is a 10 minute walk away. Matt greeted us upon arrival. Our room was stunning and so spacious. Great selection of tea and coffee and a jar of chocolates. The breakfast was the best we have ever had anywhere , quality produce, perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back to stay again. Wonderful place, cannot fault any of it.

Nothing at all

The location was fine for where we wanted to be. The room was large, bright and airy and very clean including the bathroom. The breakfast was good but the mushrooms were not very nice. They tasted odd. The cost of the room for one night was expensive but imagine this was something to do with Goodwood being on the same weekend and accommodation being very hard to find.

Had to find the staff to get a second cup of coffee at breakfast but other than that it was very good.

Quiet location in a beautiful historical manor house, split in half - the owners seemed to live in the back section. Lovely gardens and huge grounds where the holiday cottages were located. Room was large and comfortable with a shower in a split level roomy bathroom area. My friend's room was huge with a sofa seating area and a large bathroom up a stair case with a bath. Fresh milk (a big plus) and bottled water in the fridge and a good selection of tea/coffee/snacks etc. Breakfast and choices were good including freshly cooked cooked options. Friendly reception and breakfast provision. Clear access instructions beforehand although we happened to meet a member of the team on arrival who showed us to our rooms. It was very much like being in our own property (because we were a party using both rooms) - an air B&B with breakfast!. I also very much appreciated the prompt mailing of my toothbrush which I managed to leave there!

Not a case of not liking, but a couple of points... There didn't seem to be any contact instructions in the rooms that we could see, in case there were any problems during the stay. Not sure it would have been easy to find anyone if there had been, especially after dark. I guess the landline number on the website via our mobiles would have been the answer had it been necessary. Might be helpful to to state the shower v bathroom difference with the rooms on the website and that the latter was up a staircase. Might influence the choice of room for some guests. Again, maybe we missed it ,and it wasn't a problem for us.

Lovely old manor farmhouse in its own grounds, tastefully converted to provide B&B (and holiday cottage) accommodation in attractive grounds. The room was furnished in a characterful period style — with a big comfortable bed, chaise longue, leather sofa (and piano!) — as well as a fridge (with fresh milk — nice touch) and tray with coffees, teas, corkscrew etc. Double aspect windows overlooking the garden and fields beyond. Quirky: the en-suite bathroom (bath, not shower) was upstairs in an attic room. Friendly owner, who offers cooked as well as continental breakfast.

It can't really be changed but perhaps there should be a warning about access to the bathroom and also the bath itself in the room we had. Somebody who had mobility problems would have had problems. Also the steps outside from the front door to the carpark are hazardous imo
