Free parking available. Easy to find. Friendly and quick check in and check out. Two key cards provided. Room clean, spacious and lots of tea, coffee, milk, biscuits provided. Very large and comfortable double bed. Large bathroom with bath and shower plus plenty of soap, shampoo. Great for the centre of town. Large breakfast provided: cereals, fruit juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit plus a range of cooked options.

The noise from the venue downstairs is massive and unrelenting until about 3am. We'd had quite a few drinks, got in at midnight and slept through most of it. But I think most people would find it difficult to sleep with this amount of noise without something to knock them out.

Breakfast was excellent, cheerfully served and a good selection of fresh food. All the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and proactive. Lovely big room and spacious bathroom. Well stocked hospitality tray in our room.

We were warned that Thursday could be disco noisy until the early hours, earplugs were thoughtfully provided, but the noise exceeded all expectations. There is nothing that can be done about this (even the bed shook!) But ensure that the warning is made VERY prominent in promotional material. Would stay again if a stay could avoid 'noisy' nights.

The location is excellent , a short walk from The station and into town . Lots of restaurants and bars nearby . Staff were exceptionally helpful. There is ample amounts of tea, coffee , milk and sugar in the room and cans of water .

Just a few very small things, there was no shower gel in the bathroom, the bottle was empty , shame that’s not checked when rooms are serviced. Also the towels really smelt of fried food which wasn’t very pleasant after a shower. There are also not enough plug sockets in the rooms for charging various devices.

Staff very good, and checkin and breakfast were managed efficiently and very well. The room was large and clean, the bed very comfortable and the whole place friendly and welcoming

I made a mistake in booking on a Thursday night, when The Vestry has a music license until 3am, and loud music could be heard in the room I was in (no 1). Earplugs were offered in the room but I am deaf and travel with an assistance dog, and cannot impeded what is left of my hearing at night, so I cannot use ear plugs. I am not complaining about this; I just didn't read the terms of the booking carefully enough. I have stayed at this venue before but have always had a room at the back before and the music was not a problem.

The staff were exceptional. Very helpful and went beyond. The lady serving us in the morning worked very hard and had so much to do... could really do with 2 serving In the morning...she was rushed off her feet but continued to smile!!

The music from Chantry a few doors away was so loud...the music didn't stop till 3.03 am!!! Loud noises from people leaving there could be heard in the street below our window. The window didn't close due to a screw stopping the closure...there was secondary double in place but unfortunately this didn't stop the continuous loud noise from the place up the road!! Why music till 3am? Really???

The room was very clean and spacious, it was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed for 1 week and the room was tidied every day, towels replaced and tea/coffee etc replaced daily. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was great, there was good choices of breakfasts.

The bedrooms were above the bar making it noisy when the music was on for a few late nights during our stay, however ear plugs supplied and left at the bedside and they worked great.. this wouldn’t put us off staying again

The room was clean and the bed was very, very comfy. It met my expectations because the room looked like it did in the photos. Everything was clean, and the staff were very chill and helpful. We also got parking for the car, so we didn’t have to worry about that. We had a fresh breakfast, and I loved the bathroom with all the basic hygiene essentials. Highly recommend—great place to stay and have some fun! Thank you!

The area is a little bit noisy because of the pubs and shops on that area.

Location was amazing, bed was super comfy. Staff were really helpful and night staff was polite as the ground floor was a pub and so was worried we have issues getting back in once the night life started. But no they were lovely. Did wonder why they supplied ear plugs, had a live band on but come 2300 it was quiet and so happy.

Parking was a little hard as it seems everyone park there without a permit and so had to park in a pay and display until a member of staff moved his car. But it's hard to regulate park during the day.

Great location in the centre of town. Every member of staff were super helpful and friendly. Drinks and music in the bar below provide a fun evening's entertainment. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. The description of the hotel and facilities were accurate. I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

Couldn't get the jacuzzi jets to work in the bath and the television was a little temperamental.

The location is very good if you want to be right in the middle of town, and it is great that it comes with free parking spaces. The room was quite large and comfortable, and breakfast was generous. The staff and ambiance are very friendly. This is a rather lively place, more suited to people who don't mind music being played late in the pub downstairs than to people who are looking for a quiet place.

Our room faced the street, and we were unlucky enough to be woken up several times by loud voices in the street, and also by someone banging on the front door at 2am because they must have forgotten their door key. The window is east facing, and the curtain lets in a lot of light, which woke us up extra early. So I would definitely ask for a room at the back next time.
