A lovely welcome from Harry on arrival and throughout our stay. I'm afraid I can't recall the names of other staff that we interacted with, apart from Luisa, who was our breakfast server the morning after and took the edge of our hangovers with her lovely manner and sense of humour, not to mention and excellent breakfast, both the buffet and the hot food. We had an amazing dinner the night of our arrival, with steak cooked to perfection and everybody really clued up on gluten free options and precautions for my partner, who is coeliac. Wonderful stay for our anniversary, can't recommend highly enough.

Nothing negative to report whatsoever

We have stayed at the Swan before and have always had a wonderful vist. The staff doesn't treat you like a customer, they treat you like family. The rooms are clean and comfortable with modern bathrooms. The food in the restaurant is terrific, and the location, right in the heart of Arundel is perfect. You don't need a car if you intend to just explore the town and all it has to offer. Staff members such Yvonne, Ellen, and Rebecca go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. I must add that the Swan's chef is very talented.

If there must be a criticism, and this is only a very minor one, is that the hotel doesn't have parking but right behind it is a public parking lot that only cost a max of 8.80 pounds per day. And it's free from 1800 to 0800 the next morning. As I say, a minor inconvenience, especially with the parking rates many hotels in the rest of the world extort per day.

Good breakfast and very friendly staff. Great location for Arundel and walking distance from the train station. Bed was comfortable and we appreciated the tea making facilities and water provided.

We had a small room which was absolutely fine for us, my only comment is that the small shower wasn't as clean as I would have liked, possibly because its quite hard to get in and out for staff to clean all the way around. The shower also didn't drain well which filled after two showers. Also another mirror above the desk would have been helpful for getting ready as this is where the plug socket is.

Entered the Swan via the busy bar, & immediately welcomed and shown to our room, which was clean, comfortable, quiet, quirky and cozy as described. A little more spacious than expected. Flask of fresh milk and good tea/coffee facilities. Really good breakfast next morning, including options of fresh fruit and pastries. Staff cheerful, friendly and responsive throughout our stay.

The shower room would benefit from a shelf to put toiletries on. Be aware it is an old building with creaky floorboards, which was ok for us on the top floor.....

Amazing location right in the heart of Arundel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and we had a very nice stay which finished with a delicious breakfast! It’s a conveniently located place to stay when visiting the area.

Due to the age of the building the room is quite small which paired with warm summer weather can be a frustrating combination as the windows do not fully open. The hotel provide great fans but these can only help so much when there is little fresh air coming in. Some of the furnishings and cushions could do with a little freshening up but overall the room has all of the essentials.

It was a great location just off the high st. You need to park in a pay and display car park, behind the hotel. The room was small but so well equipped. if we were staying for longer we would book one of the larger rooms. Breakfast was as good as reported. Overall great value.

The floorboards are really creaky which means you here everyone coming up to their room. It is an old building so expected. Also the music from the bar can be heard until 11pm. The positives out weigh the negatives though and we would stay there again.

Checked in no problem, parking is at a car park less than 3 minutes walk from the Swan. Some stairs to walk up, a member of staff kindly helped me with my bag. Room had a double bed, room a little small but no problem. I didn't eat in the restaurant but I did look at the menu, it's a seasonal menu so changes with the seasons. Breakfast: excellent, a buffet for cereals and continental and a well served and tasty choice of English dishes. The bar has a good stock of British and foreign beers plus wine and spirits, service was very good. Arundel is a very quiet town after closing time, I always sleep with the window open and had a peaceful night with only council staff reversing nearby. I add this comment because I do not normally sleep well on the first night in a new location. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby, I wish I had time to visit them. I'll stay there again.

We loved the whole feeling of this lovely pub. Right from from the start, We were made very welcome by Harry on reception and behind the bar. We were very happy with our delicious evening meal too. We were actually upgraded to a superior double which we were very pleased about! The room and bed was super comfy and the bedding was beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean. We had everything we wanted. At breakfast, the head housekeeper Yvonne was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our cooked breakfast was amazing! This is our 2nd stay here, and we'll definitely be back! Arundel town and the wonderful castle is lovely and all the locals are very friendly. We really enjoyed everything. Thankyou guys 😃

Nothing to complain about at all.

Generally good - room provided everything I needed. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and the host was excellent - she was very friendly, clearly loved her job and persuaded me to eat more than I planned!

Slight confusion over check in time - booking.com listing said until 11pm whereas confirmation email said until 10pm. I was arriving about 10:15pm but this wasn't a problem - they were able to check me in fine. I think it may be a difference between summer and winter times.

Central location with 24 hour parking available behind the hotel, for a reasonable price. Only a short walk to Arundel Castle which is definitely worth a visit. Staff are very friendly. A special shout out to Oscar behind the bar, the lovely lady serving breakfast and the chefs who catered so well for me with a delicious evening meal and breakfast (I have several allergies). Our room was great with fresh milk provided, dressing gowns and slippers and a Dyson fan which came in very useful due to the hot weather whilst in Arundel.
