We stayed here for 2 nights whils visiting family. A very central/good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, as was the family meal that was booked for the Tuesday evening. would definately book again when next visiting family in Littlehampton.

The only negative was the shower. Had to wait quite a while for the water to eventually come hot enough to take a shower. I bordered on getting dressed to notify staff when the water eventually started to feel as if it was starting to heat up. once it reached temperature the shower was very nice. Tip, allow an extra few minutes for water to run hot when allowing time to get ready lol.

On arrival the staff were superb helping with checking in and explaining the surrounding area for things to do. The room was exceptional on everything, comfy bed with perfect sleep and the bathroom was very clean and had every item required. The staff in the food and drink area very helpful and polite. The breakfast we had prior to leaving was absolutely fantastic and would like to say a special thank you to the chef as it was 100% lovely food. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and look forward to returning very soon.

The room I stayed in with my partner at The Arun View Inn was excellent. The cleanliness of the room was immaculate, the beds were comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was great with the free standing shower. The staff are amazing with a great customer service provided, the food in the restaurant was very delicious and the choices of drinks were good. I would highly recommend people to stay here as it's in a prime location, with a 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes from the town centre and on a main train and bus route.

Very clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff who were chatty and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast and an equally lovely restaurant menu.

Not many negatives. As someone who has mobility issues ( walks with a stick) it was a bit difficult at times the only access to bar/ breakfast being either across a flat roof, and down steep steps or having to enter by walking behind the bar. Its not always easy to go behind the bar at busy times. I also feel handrails both sides on outside access steps would be beneficial as the steps are steep and slightly slippery. All of the bath towels & also the bath mat were changed daily,whilst its a lovely service, personally i think this isn't needed. Not very environmentally friendly, maybe give customers the option?

It’s an old Inn full of history. Although the building is old, the accommodation was modern, fresh and very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we had everything we needed. We had breakfast in the bar overlooking the river - the setting and the food was lovely. The Inn was about a 7 minute walk from the town centre, so nice and central. We’d definitely stay again.

Nothing we didn’t like, it was great for us. Worth mentioning though that it’s on a fairly busy road and near the train station, so it’s not quite a peaceful setting, but it didn’t bother us even though our room was on that side of the building. The other side of the Inn is right on the river, so if there are rooms that side they might be a quieter option.

The location was just right as we met family on the beach. The dinner was excellent service was quick friendly. Loved the old bar was quaint and had good service. The breakfast was amazing, well cooked and presented nicely. Had to ask for decaf tea for the room and was sorted immediately The room was airy and bright and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was just right. All was clean and tidy.

The only thing was the very steep stairs 2 flights to get to the room and we found it a little bit difficult as we both have bad knees.

Hotel is positioned on the lovely river arun the food is amazing and the breakfast great value for money it's a great base if you want to visit Brighton or Chichester or gun wharf. The staff are amazing and are happy to sort you out a pack meal when you are going out for the day 😀 I am going back next year for a longer trip

I'm really don't want to be negative but our room overlooked the railway station and main road so a bit noisy, but if you have been out for the day you just zone out it certainly didn't spoil our trip

Plenty of choice on menu, good selection of beers, wines and spirits, had 2 bars (one in dining room and another with TV's on for sports or music fans - good atmosphere Room was comfortable enough but would benefit from a bit up of an update / modernisation

Evening meal was OK but not wow.............had sea fish (plaice) and it was fairly ordinary not WOW as I was expecting from online reviews and the fact that this was a seaside town with access to local fresh sea fish. Shower on morning 2 never got hot so had to go to work with a wash only so not ideal............

The size of the bathroom was reasonable large which was nice, and the beds were comfortable. Also had tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, which was nice. The location is just right if you want to visit Littlehampton and the staff were lovely and welcoming when we arrive.

The TV wasn't working that well. It was glitching and couldn't watch anything. There was a dirty mug and tea spoon that was left in the room when we arrived.

The room was comfortable and spacious, the bed was great, the ensuite was clean and the amenities were all as advertised. Great value for money, especially considering the high quality and amount of breakfast served. Staff were friendly, too.

Small criticisms: - The position and angle of the TV in room 4 is awkward, and my partner banged his head on it. - The tea making station is at the sunny end of the desk, which made me feel quite dubious about the milk.
