What I liked: The hotel communicated clearly and early on how to get there, which was very helpful. There's a convenient airport drop-off bus that picks up and drops off at the hotel on schedule—it costs £5 each way and takes about 20 minutes. The location is excellent, with a beautiful and ambient décor. Check-in was smooth and fully automated. The hotel is very clean, quiet and my room (516) had a lovely view. The shower was great with plenty of warm water, and there was a handy coffee station in the room. It’s also just a 3-minute walk to a nearby mall where you can shop or grab a meal—very convenient!

I gave one star less due to the mattress—it was thin, felt old, and dipped on one end, clearly due for replacement. The duvet was also too light for the cold weather room, which only had extra pillows, no extra blanket. I was too tired to go downstairs to request an extra blanket. Additionally, the check-in machine didn’t offer options to choose the room location—such as floor level or whether the room faced the highway or the backyard. Having these options would really improve the experience.

Convenient location as it was only a 10 minute shuttle from the airport (costs 5 pounds one way). The shuttle runs regularly and starts early. The 24/7 self service laundry facilities were convenient and affordable. Clean and modern looking.

The space was a bit cramped for 3 people. An actual closet would’ve nice instead of some hangers on a wire grid. Staff could have provided clearer instructions on how to get to the shuttle station. Staff were a bit snippy and slow. It was also a bit annoying to have to download an app just for the laundry machines, but was glad to have the service available regardless.

When I booked it I thought it was on the airport site! So not amused when it took us over an hour to find the bus stop and a fifty minute bone shaking journey to the hotel. It was fortunate that our flight the next day was in the afternoon. No thanks to you though. The bathroom fan was on all night and nobody seemed interested. Breakfast was ok but very shoddy as noone cleared the tables. About four of the staff were chatting the whole time! Plus when we tried to pay cash for the shuttle bus only cards were excepted. I think this should be mentioned on the advertising so you know What to expect. Not happy!!! James Brown.

I proposed to my girlfriend during our first vacation in Gatwick, and the experience at the Ibis Gatwick Airport was exceptional. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and Maya especially went the extra mile to make the day unforgettable. She arranged for a makeup artist and coordinated with the team to set up our room beautifully while my partner and I were out for “breakfast” in London. My girlfriend absolutely loved it! The warm reception and effort from the entire team made our stay truly special. I will definitely return to the Ibis Gatwick Airport in the future.

Tidy, clean, smart and all you needed. Staff were fantastic too and the shuttle bus to the airport saved money rather than taxi.

I enjoyed staying at Ibis Styles it was clean and comfortable. It is in a good location, 20mins from the town centre. The style of the room is very modern. I would definately recomment Ibis. Uber eats deliver to the hotel, also they have late night pizza service at the hotel. The town centre has several supermarkets, primarks etc. Eventhough Hilton rooms are bigger, I prefer Ibis style of room. Also Ibis room has better lighting compare to Hilton Gatwick. I stayed a both

I didnt like the fact that the bar, eating area and the receptionist area was in the same area, they didnt have any room telephone.

Clean, Modern, Nice atmosphere, Friendly and helpful staff. Room was small but really nicely decorated and high end finishes, no wardrobe/storage but not an issue as we travelled light for an overnight stay and some clothes hangers available on a flat wall, very comfortable bed, a nice bathroom and shower, impeccable cleanliness, black out blind, big tv with large selection of stations. Tea/coffee facilities in room. 5 minute taxi to Gatwick Airport.

Right beside a busy dual carriageway passing traffic was quite audible in our room on the road facing side of the hotel.

Friendly staff. Attempt to help us use "automatic check in" was impressive but not completely succesful . I do appreciate the personal touch of front desk welcome, etc. Very cute design of "Wanderlust" etc. Loved the travel books on offer. The food was reasonably priced and dinner.

Could see the "glitches" of a new facility. (four months old) Weird thing with the toilets running non stop. Staff was very helpful but as an environmentalist, I was VERY concerned about the amount of water WASTED . Seemed to be an ongoing issue and not sure why this hasn't been addressed. Staff efficiently helped us access a room where there wasn't a problem. Also the showers need a protective slip surface. There wasn't anything and the shower stall was siippery and dangerous

Great security, safety, amenities and comfort.

The location was hard to get to for a for a first time traveller to Gatwick airport, flight landed near to midnight so I was lost. Thankfully I managed to get a bus (number 10) but that stopped 10 mins walk at night on a dead dark road so I had to walk with my luggage and phone out (risky). The shuttle service online said to stops at 9pm. When getting to the hotel staff said they have 24hour shuttle but the times were so odd!

Really handy for the airport and a better priced than those in the airport. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Uber operates in the town so really easy to sort transfers but is only minutes away. And decent air con too! This is def our early morning flight airport hotel choice from now.

Check in is at the bar so can understand why the door is front door is locked at a certain time. But it Is always a bit of a mood killer to turn up and the front door is locked. The stay made up for it though.
