Breakfast fine. Had to leave early so perfect to get up and help myself . Absolutely perfect location. Just outside Enfield parking restrictions so parked car on street around the corner in the evening of stay to make sure got space and travelled to Liverpool St next day on Weaver Line (10 mins walk to station then 30 mins train journey, not packed like Northern line) and then returned to car in evening. No parking fees, train journey £10.

Only resident at time so urn wasn't on for breakfast. Nice to have kettle to boil in dining room rather than going back to room for hot water.

The location was good for us, as we were working in the area. The room was comfy, and a nice breakfast was supplied. The owner met us at the door, and was very polite

The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was the shared bathroom situation, though there were two bathrooms and three loos so the owners have done all they can really. The parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is limited, which is to be expected. It didn’t end up being a problem as we were both able to park on the adjacent road, and it was a 2-minute walk.

As the saying goes you get what you pay for, and if I wanted 5 star accommodation then I would be expected to pay for it. The room was very comfortable and fairly quiet considering that the property is on a fairly busy road, however, the creaking floors were a bit of a problem for me, being a very light sleeper. The shower/toilet was excellent. The only problem was that the expected hair drier didn't appear.

Very important for a visitor arriving in an unknown town after dark is for the property to have very clear signage, and Cathleen House signage and road number is very small when trying to see it from the road, especially with other motorists getting impatient behind you. Just a large number 85 right on the road would suffice. Other than that we had no problems whatever.

It was lovely and clean when we walked in, and greatly spacious. The free amenities of water and milk in the fridge were a lovely touch, with coffee, tea bags and hot chocolate provided. The breakfast room was nice and clean with a great range for a simple breakfast before check out. With only being a short walk into Enfield Town Centre and the overground, it was perfect!

The fan above the wardrobe was quite dirty and the kettle still had water in.

Kathleen house Is exactly what It claims to be: a bedroom in a large house, with lockable doors. It's like a home from home! Very comfortable, warm and exceptionally clean. I stayed 2 nights and both mornings there was a cleaner working on the communal areas of the property (they were also very friendly). The bathroom is shared but again is VERY clean and it was always free while I was there.

The shared facilities were good but even when nobody else was staying there we were not too happy sharing. It was in the description so not a surprise. We would have liked some biscuits in the room. Breakfast was included but very basic. Not sure they could have done more given no staff were on site. My wife did not like the air fresheners.

Breakfast buffet had a reasonable selection but there was no fresh milk available nor hot water for tea or coffee. Perhaps a kettle could be provided in the dining room, for times when the large urn is not in use. Bedroom was basic but bed was comfortable enough. Very limited car parking but managed to find a space on a nearby side road.

Lovely place, easy to find, nice area, close to town. Lots of amenities close by, Short walk to train station. Nicely presented good sized room, great communication, lovely friendly staff. The bed was super comfy, best nights sleep I've had in years. Large spacious bathroom. Would defo recommend and stay again 🙂

I stay here quite regularly and it’s always great, nice and clean, hassle free and a breakfast ready to go each morning. Great room service, lovely clean bathrooms, I highly recommend this place for a stay in London. Also very close to the train station and on a main bus route. Thanks guys and see you again next year.

How close it was and convenient for travel Having a mini fridge with a bottle of water was a real bonus Blackout curtains bonus

No soundproofing in the house.. so heard everything all throughout the night unfortunately. Having the option to cancel if plans/or travel was disrupted or cancelled
