When booking a room here, keep in mind that you won't have room service every day, but in a way, that makes it feel more freeing. You can come and go as you please, and in the mornings there's always a staff member willing to help you, in case is needed. Really nice people, by the way. On top pf that, I would like to highlight the excellent location: plenty of shops nearby, and the bus stop is right in front! I totally recommend staying at The Stag Enfield.

If I have to mention a negative aspect, I would say I wish they had checked the sink beforehand. I'm not sure if it was just the room I booked, but it was clogged. Not completely, but the water drained very slowly.

This hotel/guesthouse is a hidden gem and excellent value for money. The price I paid exceeded my expectations and is very competitive against the named brands such as Travelodge, Premiere Inn etc. Although rooms are slightly smaller, they are very cosy and more than adequate for couples or single travellers. The cleaner is excellent and friendly and you feel that you're receiving personal service from staff. The hotel/guesthouse has character where there's is a private entrance to a nice size bar with TV as well as private outside seating. Shops are only a couple minutes walk and there are excellent transport links, with buses stopping just outside the hotel too.

Good location right on the town so finding somewhere to eat was easy and the side entrance so I didn't have to keep going few the pub was nice . Over all nice place

Parking was difficult.. you can only park after 6:30 and it needs to be moved by 8am ... But there is parking on side roads but a bit of a walk

Great location, easily accessible via public transport, very affordable accommodation for London. Comfortable bed and good storage. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Rather narrow, winding staircase which made it a bit hard to get a bulky suitcase up. The main light in the room didn't actually have any bulbs in it, which we seemed to forget about each time we entered the room! The plumbing made some rather dodgy noises after being engaged. There was mention of the room being cleaned on Day 3, but that didn't happen - not that it really mattered, although it would have been nice to have had coffee and milk topped up (these would have definitely been provided had I thought to ask). The walls are rather thin, so we could hear our neighbours walking around, talking/arguing and even snoring!

Great location, premises were clean, staff friendly, twin room with ensuite, comfortable beds, tv, kettle and tea making facilites, hairdryer. Bar downstairs, no noise 🙂

Stairs are a bit steep, may be an issue for some people, its just the way the building is 😉

Second visit due to enjoyable first stay. Got a bigger room and private bathroom, so was a pleasant and appreciated surprise. The housekeeper was ever so helpful and kind.

Minor fault for the very low shower pressure.

Lovely pub although we didn't take time to have a drink. Very warm reception from both staff members that I met. Clean premises. Ideal location because its next to the high street so walking distance to e.g macdonalds and cafes etc.

Rooms are small with basic needs but good for short stay. Possibly upgrade the mattress as I think it's coming to that stage (room 28)

The Stag is in a great location to a high street full of shops. a shopping centre a 5 minute walk to the overground. The facilities in the hotel were a little outdated but for a two night stay they met our needs. The bar area was lovely. Staff were lovely and helped with anything we may have needed.

The hotel although was really tidy and looked like it had been cleaned if you were really picky then you may not have liked it. Certain areas may have need extra attention such as the shower head and shower tray. Again for our two night stay it didn’t bother us so much but if we were to stay longer it may have.

Location was great… very easy to locate the place. Room was lovely with own bathroom, I liked the self check in, didn’t have to deal with staff. It was a great night

Location was amazing.

The worst stay I’ve ever had my entire life! I woke up in the morning to use the kettle in the room for boil some water for the coffee, I opened the kettle and it was full of urine!!!! 😓😓😓😓 This is so insane and horrible. I reported this to the cleaning lady who was around in the morning.
