Staff were very prompt and happy to help. Truly service with a smile and nothing was too much of an ask. There is a lot to do at the estate especially for a young family. Kids love it and can stay entertained.

The food at Valeries was terrible. We were too hungry to kick a fuss and just wanted to eat and get out of there as our one year old was very antsy. My croque monsieur was literally burnt. The air conditioning in the room didnt work and the first night was tough. They have a 24hr whatsapp service and at around 130pm we messaged to say we werw really uncomfortable as with the loft room it was stuffy and warm and we could not sleep. They immediately sent through a fan which made q world of a difference. The bathroom/toilet ventilation didnt work which made the toilets smell rather unpleasant through the stay.

We read a few mediocre reviews and were a bit worried however were positively surprised. The hotel is great, lots to do. Great free gym classes and more stuff you can book for a small cost. The only let down was the service which was a bit slow in the main restaurant (not zebra riding club). Staff were friendly but maybe a bit junior and needed a manager to give some direction. The food menu is lacking some staples (e.g. avo & toast, eggs & toast, or pasta or vegan burger etc. stuff everyone eats) but was ok otherwise. We had a great time by the pool but be ready to fork out some money for the drinks.

Bed was very comfy and clean. Hotel was very big and had lots of workshops and rooms you could do (if they had spaces left, as we booked last minute there was no space left). Handy location to get into north london for a concert we went to. Lovely grounds, fresh produce and farm animals to see around the grounds. I would return with friends and plan ahead to do workshops in the future. If some parts were renovated a bit it could be a much more luxurious feeling place.

Room décor particularly in the bathroom looked tired and in need of some renovations. If we had paid more for the room (we got it on a deal probably because it was last minute) I would’ve been disappointed. Also some of the carpets through the hotel looked tired and a bit dirty in need of a deep clean or replacement.

Setting was lovely 50 acres of green & lovely trees plants & flowers,the daffodils were an ocean of yellow! A tranquil chilled out feel with gorgeous little piggies deer rabbits squirrels all fun to watch. Pilates & Yoga classes were inclusive both fantastic tutors. Sauna was fab too. Gym classes looked good.Watch the bread making recommended.Cafe serves gorg coffee's and tea's alcohol and soft drinks with delicious bakery too. Cinema films & DJ at wk ends.A very chilled out friendly vibe all round. Valeries serves a great selection of breakfast,brunch lunch snd dinner. The Zebra Riding Club restaurant was a set menu choice for £58 tasty food in a large dining room with open kitchen. We had fun l,fitness and relaxation with the most fabulous facial incl. neck shoulders and foot massage! We will return. Thanks for a fab ek end.

Traveling for work, I had previously stayed in a well know chain hotel nearby. When this came up on a search I thought I'd give it a go. Holy Moly, what a lovely hotel and hidden gem, I can't believe the price point given the facilities and beauty of the place. Loved the room décor, loved enjoying an Aperol spritz on the terrace overlooking the grounds. Saw deer in the grounds on the way in. Amazing

My only small complaint is that the shower was a little dated & sad. But truly the rest more than makes up for that.

could do with bottle of water in the room. When returning to the room late at night, you then don’t want to go to the bar to get a bottle of water. Maybe, reception could offer a bottle on check in. happy to pay for it.

Not your normal hotel, more like a resort stay with an absolutely fantastic restaurant (Riding Club) and the friendliest staff you can imagine
