This place is a little gem. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel. Overall, great room, sufficient space and amenities for a short stay. Staff are very welcoming and attentive to customer needs. Great housekeeping services. Safe and secure. It is a popular venue for events, but doesn't disturb much. We'd definitely stay here again.

If the hotel is busy and rooms are occupied next door, you will hear doors opening and closing but nothing major. There was no mini fridge / bar area, but there was complimentary tea / coffee and water provided every day.

It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good and the location is excellent for access into central London.

The parking was charged for Booking.com customers which is understandable but I booked in and paid and received a penalty charge 10 days later as I came to the hotel at 4pm then left with my car to attend a family event returning around midnight. The ANPR picked me up coming back and I assume thought I’d come for another day! To be fair the excellent staff dealt with my complaint very quickly and cancelled the penalty. Other than that it’s a great place.

The duration of our stay was very pleasant, the only issue we had was that our room had a smell, despite having the air freshner spraying outside our door, there was sadly a distinct smell of somebody had smoked canibas / weed in our room so that was a rather pungent smell and quite off putting. However, saying that the staff were terrific, friendly, the food was terrific and could not be faulted. The lift to upstairs once you got off the first floor was rather tight and i have no idea how you can get more than 2 people in there with bags, so when we checked out one went down the lift with the bags and i went down the stairs.

Sadly a bad smell in our room of what can only be described as somebody having smoked some substance.

I found the reception staff were very welcoming and cheerful on arrival and departure - this always creates a very good impression for a guest, so well done, reception staff, you did an excellent job. It was a nice, comfortable room with all the facilities I expected.

Because there was a function taking place there was hardly any parking space when I arrived early evening and none at all, I think, for other guests who arrived later. I think I got one of the last spaces. You did warn me that parking could not be reserved as you host functions, but this is quite a stressful and negative factor after a long journey and when one doesn’t have any idea where to park at night in the area. Sadly, not being able to reserve a parking space would probably prevent me from booking your hotel again in the future, even though you actually do have quite a lot of parking on site. The only negative point about the room was that the water pressure was rather low in the shower, but it was adequate.

Love the garden - unusual in London to have that peaceful buffer. The staff-friendly and helpful. The Breakfasts- lots to choose from hot and cold. The Rooms - some are integrated into the old Chapel and have some stunning architectural features. The Comfy beds. Location, short drive to tube car parks, then 50 ish mins by tube to theatre land.

There always seems be a refit/refresh ongoing. Which is good, but can cause some problems. In our room, this time, air con and shaver sockets not working. They don't have fridges in their rooms which is unusual these days.

I got married here in 2001 and came for a wedding. There were some changes, modernised etc. Still liked the the location, the room was spacious and beds comfy. Staff were helpful and very friendly. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was nice with mainly a traditional menu. It wasn't too expensive, an average price in line with other hotels.

The package was a bit on the pricy side. The lift on our floor made a terrible sound and needs attention.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Very helpful too with local directions and area advice... We felt safe at the hotel. I know that sounds a bit dramatic- but we're from a very rural area on the Welsh boarder and London is a different world for us! (I travelled with 2 daughters!) (My parents also booked a room for them too) we visited for a family event elsewhere! We felt comfortable and safe! Rooms were spacious and perfect for the 3 of us. Bathrooms tidy and clean. Parking was good right outside hotel. Payment was £10 and very simple to do via a QR code. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I'd more than happily revisit for a stay.

Beds and cushions were a bit hard but that's a personal preference thing...

I was upgraded and the room was clean and modern.

When I came back from an event at a different venue. I was greeted with vans blocking the entrance to the building. The stink of weed intoxicated the whole area even on the street. I could just about get to the entrance on the door to get into the hotel which was unmanned which questioned the security of the building. People high and drunk staggering everywhere I just about managed to not get burns or alcohol split on me or my expensive Indian outfit. Very disappointed with the lack of decorum and shocked to see this sort of behaviour at a hotel and even more surprised no police due to the amount of drugs being smoked openly. Apart from that the hotel was fine.

We went with our two dogs so ate in the brasserie. The staff were so kind & attentive, & the food was delicious. I have to be gluten free so wasn't expecting such nice food. We had an upgraded bedroom with a huge comfy bed, with a nearby garden to take the dogs out onto. We would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing we didn't like. Not a lot of daylight in the bedroom but not much that could be done about that! Miserable weather didn't help!

Rooms are clean and a good size, with toiletries provided. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Although it was a long walk to the underground, the journey into central London was fairly quick and easy.

The window in our en-suite didn't shut properly, leaving a big gap on the left-hand side. This meant the room was always quite cold. The staff didn't seem to know what 'normal' teabags are!
