Location is very serene, secured, easily accessible to Ilford train station. Good for shopping because of many shops on the High Street as well as.the Cranbrook street. The iconic Exchange Mall is a walking distance from the hotel, home to many shops great for shopping. The hotel is very clean and rooms are tidied up everyday. Staff are very nice and helpful.

The hotel does not have a restaurant and the communal kitchen does not have cooking utensils like pots and spoons. Though it has other hadylike fridge, microwave, rice cooker . The cooking tabletop was not working, hence you cannot cook in the kitchen.

The three of us (a married couple and a young daughter) were visiting London for a friend's wedding. The apartment we were given at the Cranbrook Hotel was just perfect. All we needed was a double bed and a single bed for the night all in the same room, and a car parking space. At £86 on a Saturday night in peak season, this was excellent value compared with the overpriced hotels in the city, and the location was conveniently situated near the start of the M11 to help us get to where we needed to be the next morning.

for the price, the hotel was excellent - much better than I had expected. The Irish receptionist (I mention "Irish" in order to identify her_ was SO nice and helpful with a couple of issues that I had regarding transportation. She definitely "went that extra mile".

The lighting in the room - too bright and some lamps or wall lights would have been better

Only their was not pillows available as they were not all that when I requested the staff was really nice It was ashamed that their was no breakfast included Everything was fine we enjoyed the stay and location

The room we got first night was smelly and untidy, too tired to even raise it until next day and we got a nice room immediately....one of the few hotels in the area where we even got oarking for two cars...so overall..good experience

Atleast one room that i know needs a new carpet and a proper clean

Had one night stay at Cranbrook Hotel. Family Room was basic,spacious and clean. Free parking was a good plus considering the area. Hot water was constantly available during the stay. All amenities like kettle, mini refrigerator and microwave were there in the room. Towels and bed linens were clean.

sometimes they are fully book in the main hotel they would book uou in other branch of hotel so better be early or confirm your rooms the day before.

Clean, comfortable and quiet room for an excellent price. The staff are lovely and we enjoyed our stay here. Stayed many times before for nearby friend's party and I'm mystified why Cranbrook isn't rated higher. We've always had really good experience staying here.

Location excellent 10 min walk from ilford station . Room was clean and basic a lot better than i expected for 50 GBP

Having to pay a 100 deposit which may or may not take a while to be refunded .I don't see why this is necessary for such a basic hotel with no facilities

The manager of the hotel very pleasant. Humble character, she is always care for their guest and white woman in reception
