The accommodation was worked well for the two-night stay for a family event in the area. There are plenty of woodland walks in the surrounding area.

There are just about adequate facilities to make breakfast/light meal, but with only one bar stool at the breakfast counter, and a chair by a desk, it was a little awkward for the two of us. Another bar stool would have been very useful.

I used to live in the area, so knew it was a lovely location. The accommodation itself was cosy and quiet. The check in process was really easy.

I've already let the host know that the bathroom sink seemed to be blocked, which they have apologised for.

Great for an overnight stay, the room met all our needs and the bed was comfortable. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Great communication from the host who sent a text a few days before our stay to ask if we wanted a double bed or two singles. Also received a text to let us know when the lodge was ready. Would recommend and will definitely book to stay there again.

The lodge was fine and tidy and the area outdoors was lovely.

Excellent location ,and this time I brought a fan as the weather is exceptional at the moment . Cozy little bolt hole. Can't wait to stay here Autumn/ winter.

Very cosy lodge, perfect place for a relaxed break, fridge and microwave in the room

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Nearest train station was 2.5 miles away so had to get Ubers to and from the lodge.
