Lovely welcoming staff. Beautiful location.

The rooms were nice but the housekeeping should go the extra mile and dust above the headboards. They were super dusty and left that uncomfortable feeling when you don't feel completely relaxed due to cleanliness in the room.

Room was very clean and tidy. There were two straight back chairs but no easy chair. The Guest relations team returned something left in the room promptly when I sent a Royal Mail bar code .

Room had a strange set up in which shower and toilet were separated from sleeping area by a sliding wooden panel which when open did not shield the person sitting on the toilet behind frosted glass from view. Not a problem for long married couple but this had not been stated in the description or photos. Not really a good recipe for a romantic weekend. The view was of a ruin surrounded by scaffolding with no aspect over Richmond Hill. Outside the car park was not clean - dog mess, also an overflowing bin was right next to the walking entrance.

The bed was possibly the comfiest hotel bed I've ever stayed in! I stayed for two nights and even with the poor weather I didn't mind staying in the room longer than I'd intended. The staff were great in agreeing a slightly later check out at midday too, which was very helpful with my travel plans. Breakfast wasn't included in my room rate but I could request breakfast in my room for a cost - except there were no pens in the room so that was a bit tricky. I didn't end up requesting breakfast but it was a nice touch. There is a lovely little pub called the Roebuck a minute away that does affordable and lovely breakfast so I would highly recommend that as an alternative. Similarly if the hotel's food is not to your tastes, the Roebuck or The Ship Inn further down in town are great places to eat if you're a solo female traveller.

The room's temperature control was centrally controlled so I couldn't adjust to make it cooler, which meant I had to open the window and there were very noisy construction works happening my entire stay. Not great ambience! My room overlooked a sad looking car park with a skip, so again not great ambience but I suspect the more you pay for your room the further you get to a better view. The room rate is not cheap though so if you get a regular room expecting views you may be disappointed.

We love this hotel - it is our favorite place for a stop on the way to or from Heathrow airport. But it is much more than a stop over - the location is incredible, Richmond is a real gem and this hotel is perfectly located. You could easily make this your base to explore west London. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will work hard to accommodate your needs. The Georgian rooms are fantastic: they are a good size, they have a beautiful bathroom, a bathtub, and a comfortable bed. The restaurant is also really good.

The Hill collection rooms quite honestly do not match the standard of the rest of the hotel and offer a different experience altogether. However, they offer a more affordable alternative and may be a good short-term option to still benefit from the location and other wonderful things about this hotel.

Our room was small for 2 people and a dog. Ceiling was very low felt a bit claustrophobic. No space to hang clothes only a small cupboard with 4 hangers as no room for any more because of the ironing board. No place to put suitcases so climbing over everything.

The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to fulfil any of our requests and to ensure all our needs were met. Our room was one of the smaller ones as per booking but I was impressed by the unique design which allowed for maximum use of space in the room. The hotel provides a comfortable stay in an ideal location, close to attractions, transport routes, and only a short walk into town.

The hotel delivered in all aspects and I honestly can’t say there was anything that was not to our liking.

I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful stay I had at your hotel. Everything was perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The service, facilities and overall experience were excellent and I really appreciate the hospitality shown to me. Our room was upgraded for my special day with my girlfriend. The view of the Thames from our room was unmatched. The bathtub was also magnificent. A big thank you to the hotel staff for the friendly welcome. It was a trouble-free stay and will definitely be my only choice for my next stay in Richmond.

I didn't have any negative experiences with the hotel. Although I'm not an architect, I think the floor in our room was crooked. :) However, this did not affect our experience in bad way. The room and bed were very comfortable.

Everything. A stylish, eclectic, 5⭐️ abode- friendly, professional staff, great music- all running smoothly & a genuine feeling of the staff loving the place in which they work. The rooms, beds, Penhaligons toiletries, linen, decor & my views-superb. The artisan chocolates- you click on a QR code to reveal your flavours!- is very up to date with digital connectivity- and the Restaurant - 144-is a brasserie style which feeds off the most amazing lounge spaces! Dogs are allowed! The elegance is not antiquated- it’s warm & the attention to detail( have a look at the wall covering in the lift!) is spot on. I’ve travelled for many decades & this hotel was a stand out for me.

We have had a wonderful stay on the Hill when we checked in Ness at the front desk was so lovely and we also got a free upgrade to a beautiful suit and chocolates too ! it was our anniversary so made it extra special the hotel is in a fab location right near the entrance to the beautiful Richmond park and we also had a great breakfast all the staff are very helpful and friendly too, beautifull crisp white bedding and nice quality toiletry’s all round great experience!!!

Richmond Hill Hotel is a beautifully decorated building. The lobby areas are homely and stylish. The staff are friendly. The restaurant food is delicious, and the set menu is great value as well as being beautifully presented and with a wonderful combination of flavours. The attention to detail is outstanding and luxurious. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend to friends and family. We will definitely be returning.
