Perfect location for visiting Kew Gardens. Felt very safe. Lots of nearby places to eat, shop, etc., and very close to public transportation. Top floor room was tiny but clean and had a nice balcony and plenty of light. Good free wifi. Be sure to ask for one of the larger rooms. Very approachable host who, after I had problems in my room, offered to upgrade me for 1 night in a better room.

TV only worked on one channel despite requests to host. Other things were broken--shades on room windows & balcony door wouldn't close; shared bathroom shower was about to come out of the wall; toilet seat nearly slipped off; front doorknob came off in my hand. Very little room to keep belongings in this particular room.

Location great, price great, room for all 4 of us in one room, everything we needed for our stay, comfy beds, nice shower pressure. Plenty of milk for the tea in the morning which was appreciated as often in other hotels there is not enough. Great parking on street. Excellent value for money and will definitely use again when we plan to visit London.

Couple of spiders in the room and difficult to close shower door however old-ish property.

The property is easily reached from Kew Gardens station, which made getting around London easy and suited our plans to visit the gardens. We booked a shared bathroom but we had it to ourselves. It was a good size and very clean.

Our room was up two flights of very narrow stairs which was difficult with luggage. The room was very small - not something we usually note given we travel a lot in Asia.

I liked the location - close to the station and close to Kew Gardens. I liked the garden path to the door. The room was very clean and well appointed with cooking and washing facilities - unusual. I liked my own bathroom. Good person at reception.

Railway line is very close. Fortunately I sleep well but some people might be bothered by the sound of trains.

For the price paid the room was excellent. Clean, warm and comfortable. We slept well despite the railway line being pretty near. It was value for money and within a 10-minute walk from Kew Gardens, the Archives, train station and bus stops.

A shared bathroom but this was reflected in the price paid. Every bedroom needs a decent-sized mirror to free up the time guests spend in the bathroom. Not a problem on our visit but it could be if the guest house was full.

The host was gracious and extremely helpful. His assistance with resolving some travel issues I was having was invaluable and greatly appreciated. The property is located in a small community with plenty of small local businesses and restaurants. In addition, it's just a short walk to the Underground as well as to Kew Gardens.

Excellent location for visiting Kew Botanical Gardens. Surprisingly quiet and nice and dark, so had some really good nights sleep. Good access to a variety of eateries.

Parking was available but required a permit for each day of our visit at £1.50 per day. Great value, but it could've been explained clearer in the listing. Kitchen and crockery were a bit basic but sufficient for a few days if mostly eating out.

The location next to Kew Gardens, 2 nice restaurants and 1 good fish and chips ( within 5 min walk distance). The room had one ensuite bathroom.

Lack of any facilities to prepare meals and/or fridge to store food. Preparing breakfast and ready-to-eat lunch for later in the day on the dresser was tricky without damaging anything or spilling fruit juice while cutting the fruits. If you are planning to stay bring disposable cutlery and plates.

The studio is comfy; good lighting, nice view on both sides of the building. Kitchenette - very handy. Bathroom - OK. Generally clean. On a side note - the train line goes near the building; it didn't bother me, but good to know.

The host was very friendly, helpful and kind! The accommodation was clean and the wifi had a good signal. It was also close to a metro station and a bus stop. There was also a market nearby

The area was quite noisy because of the train station that was nearby. Also the room was a bit small.
