Spa was fabulous We ate in the restaurant which was good also.

We had a basic room in the basement which was noisy when the deliveries came in early hours. Also bathroom was across a corridor which was OK but the fire doors were so heavy it made a loud noise and kept waking us up. We also didn't realise we had to pay extra for the spa as we thought we would stay on an hour after check out......

the only thing that I think should be worked on in the car park. if I'm paying the amount I paid for a stay at the hotel you should have the car park free for guests.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The bathroom featured a modern design with a rainfall shower, and we were provided with complimentary bottled water, tea, and coffee.

Parking fees are quite high, and it's important to note that if you leave the hotel premises during your stay, a £16 charge is applied each time you re-enter. Additionally, the outdoor facilities were undergoing maintenance during our visit, which limited access to only the indoor amenities. The available indoor option was a shared swimming pool, which was also open to children.

Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Dining/bar area is beautifully decorated.

This isn’t exclusive to Harbour but maybe establish at the ‘wait to be seated’ area if breakfast is included/excluded with room rate. I was shown to a table then it was loudly announced in front of all other guests that breakfast wasn’t included and that I would have to pay extra. I had put a £50 deposit on the room upon check in to cover this eventuality so assumed all I needed to do was provide my breakfast order + room number. Ordinarily I would have walked out but I was hungry and needed a coffee.

The room was beautifully decorated and well provisioned. Huge comfortable bed. Large room with big windows. Huge bathroom. Pool and spa area very nice - 20m pool is heated properly, the sauna and steam room were nice, outdoor Swedish style hot tubs and a hydro pool were great. There’s also a relaxation room with suspended chairs. The changing rooms are spotless. Food in the restaurant was very good - especially the sourdough loaf - order something with a sauce so you can try it…breakfast lovely and some of the wait staff are exceptionally friendly and pleasant. A short walk down to the riverside with more cafes and restaurants and endless historical pubs to choose from. Great place to stay.

Being an old building soundproofing between walls seemed ok but we heard a lot of noise from the room above. Choose a room on the top floor if you can.

Beautiful location with gorgeous views, really helpful and friendly check in staff, room was excellent and my cheeky request for a bath if possible was honoured. Spa is lovely and the treatments were great.

Breakfast on our second day was very slow. It was a bank holiday and packed - there were only 3 staff serving that we could see so everything was chaotic. We waited in a Q for about 15 minutes for a table, then 30 minutes just for coffee - they brought 1 instead of 2. Had to ask for cups, teaspoons and milk. Breakfast then took a further 10 minutes. Everything had been 5* up until this point so it was a real shame as it had a massive knock on impact on our day and meant we were rushing around to make appointments we had. They kindly did not charge us for this which was appreciated, Hopefully it was just a one off bank holiday issue.

Overall, the hotel is amazing! We love everything about Harbour Hotel & Spa Richmond and stay there regularly, even though we live in London — it’s always a wonderful experience.

This time we had one small disappointment in the restaurant. We arrived around 4 pm and ordered two steaks with chips. The restaurant was quiet, with only a few tables occupied, yet our mains took over 40 minutes to arrive. When our server brought the food, we mentioned that the wait felt too long and asked if she could pass our feedback to the manager. She then told us she was the manager herself — something we didn’t realise, as she was dressed the same as the other waitstaff in all black. We rarely leave without tipping, but on this occasion we chose not to.

The check in was easy and quick. Reception was busy but we didn't wait too long. Loved the decor throughout! The room was amazing, spacious and with working AC, bathroom was also very spacious with double sink and big shower. Bed was super comfy!! Bedroom had all the amenities, hair dryer, safe, teas and coffees, mini bar, big TV and complimentary water. They also provide bath robes and slippers which we used for the spa. We went for a birthday staycation for my boyfriend and since the booking staff have been attentive, and they put a nice message and chocolates in the room for him 😊 The spa was also good, I understand why people say it can be crowded, personally I don't think it was that bad, there is an gym and an indoor swimming pool that we didn't use, and one outside pool with hydrotherapy which was comfortable enough for 8 people to be in at the same time. There are also 2 smaller jacuzzis that can hold 4 people each and they are amazing the water very warm and private location tucked away from the other pool. We had to wait a bit for our turn in them but nothing major, we were okay with waiting. Signs says to use only for 20 mins max if there are people waiting which I think it's reasonable. Apart from the relax room with the hanging sofas we didn't use the other amenities but we went for a walk in the park and it was great, as it's literally 2 mins away. Overall a great stay and we loved everything about it!

Nothing really. Everything was as expected and we were prepared for it to be more crowded in the spa area but it wasn't at all, despite the hotel being fully booked for the night! Great stay!

The restaurant, the gate was Incredible. The service was top tier, we asked for suggestions and were greeted with such knowledge from drinks to food and we even asked for a small sampler portion of something which was accommodated. Food was u real and could not fault it. The decor was lovely and really felt like you was somewhere other then London. The waiter we had ( I think it was lily) was absolutely a credit to this restraunt and we would go bsck there without staying at the hotel because of her and the food. The rooms was big and spacious, too many stairs to reach to but something you can ask not to have if you'd struggle I guess. Beautifully close to Richmond Park and just a lovely hotel.

The spa was not good. It really let's down the whole hotel. It was scummy in places, cold in the hot tubs/ so busy couldn't even get in them and not really fit for purpose. We couldn't experience the pool as there were kids screaming in there, which I have no problem with but as we couldn't do anything else it was a shame. The sauna was flooded meaning the slippers and robes ( which were broken so the tie kept falling off) were sodden when entering. The water in the sauna came up I've rmy feet and made me feel really dirty. It it a huge let down considering the rest of the hotel is stunning and the restraunt is top class.
