I have already stayed at this hotel and it is quite a good option, particularly if you are on foot. It is close to Gorlero, just a step from Brava Beach and not that far from Mansa Beach. When compared to other hotels in the area that goes from Piriapolis to Punta del Este, it stands out above many, as it's well kept, not too old to start with. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Overall I'd rate it as very convenient and reasonably good value for money, particularly if you book ahead with plenty of time.

Breakfast is okay for local standards, and "local standards" is the key term. Uruguayan breakfast isn't an important meal traditionally, as most people just have a coffee and a toast with jam or a simple pastry or biscuit. So compared to that, the hotel breakfast is quite generous and offers some fair variety. Do not expect any cooked breakfast though, and this time I noticed that croissants are brought to you on an individual basis while all other items are part of a buffet. They seem to be made onsite but they are a bit heavy and made with multicereal flour, so all in all a bit strange. Maybe a sign of the increasing cost of living in Uruguay, as buying croissants and pastries at the bakery costs you a small fortune these days.

Breakfast was "continental" with a buffet style and sufficient. The coffee was plentiful from a hot urn. The serving girl was very pretty but would have been beautiful with a smile. The sun terrace was perfect and private. It had a jacuzzi which we didn't require. The shower was amazing. We had a high room with a sea view and it was clean and large enough for us.

Tea bags and coffee with the kettle would have been nice.

I liked very much the location, the reception guys and the comfort of the room. Extra gratefulness for the Mister at the reception by the last day, who allowed a couple of extra hours, so I could attend an online work meeting until 12:00, and he didn't charge anything else (late check-out). We really thank you very much.

I would like to have had a room with a seaview, I guess the hotel was not full... I saw some cobwebs in the bathroom... :P And I thought really curious how breakfast was served... Very scarce options... I understand the price was very lean, but I hope you can consider ameliorating these items. Thank you for the opportunity of these comments.

A great stay for the two us for 2 nights in PDE. One block from the ocean with a great sunset view off the balcony. Easy walk to tons of places. Clean room, nice full bathroom, nice breakfast and the staff was super friendly and helpful

Good breakfast. Very nice staff. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, very good size, everything pretty much brand new. The heating worked great. Lovely ocean view. The sea is so close you can hear it.

Water could be a little hotter in the shower, but it was ok.
