The room was great. Decent amount of space and clean. Air purifiers were in the room, which was nice. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not.

The parking situation was not the best. They had their own parking lot that about 100 cars or so can fit, but the hotel was packed. The hotel was charging us $25.00 a night to park in the lot, even though we had to use an overflow garage that was only $6.00 overnight and owned by the city. The hotel told us they can validate it for us, but never told us that they we would still charge us the $25.00 a night for parking. I did not like the fact they were going to make $19.00 a night off of my reservation for parking in garage. I had to request that they remove the $25.00 a night parking since I paid the $6.00 myself.

First of all, we had NO major issues. The Front Desk staff, Patrick especially, was super friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel, and areas My Queen and I could walk to visit (close by). 40th Anniversary!!! The suite we used was larger than expected! Bonus! Once we learned to be patient and actually READ, we saw that there was a "daily special" for the free omelet bar. (#4 was a Bacon jalapeno Swiss cheese omelet...) The pool was clean, and plenty of towels were available. Free Evening drinks were mixed just right...

The only thing I really miss would be coffee available on a 24 hour basis. The coffee maker in the room, with the minimal condiments provided, did not quite help our coffee taste up to par.

The ambiance was amazing (was there after black Friday, beautiful decor) , the breakfast bar was decent. (French toast sticks would be amazing) Loved the Omelet bar! Room was clean and comfortable. Location is breathtaking so so much history and eateries! Definitely. Would book again.

Room couch chair was torn on the upper cushion, room was very warm (however I liked it, spouse didn't like we couldn't control the heat setting but we were able to crack the window) rust along the bottom edge of the shower glass, room needs a coat of paint due to spackle repairs on ceiling fixtures. Hair found in bathroom, hotel hallways had chips sprinkled on the floor (passed by several times) and elevator floors were dirty but had spill signs?

We arrived at a very busy reception, but when it was my turn, I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist called Cat. All through our stay Cat was very cheerful, helpful and informative. It was through Cat we were able to watch our first ever Baseball game. The property was very clean and pleasant.

Some of the white chairs used for breakfast time were in need of cleaning and looked worn. There seemed to be a lack of regular coffee for the room.

Breakfast was good! Actually had scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, fruit & a lot more to choose from. Was very impressed with Breakfast. Location of hotel was great and walking distance to all the places we needed and wanted to go. Never moved my car once it was parked. Several great restaurants in this area and all walking distance. Enjoyed the restaurant & bar inside the hotel as well

It would have been nice to have a book with all the numbers or extensions you needed to call for room service, etc. and info about the hotel,WiFi, etc but there was nothing . It would be great to have local attractions & restaurants info in the room also but nothing.

Breakfast was good. Room had a river view.

Parking was a major issue - entrance arm broken and parking was a problem. Saturday evening had people at the parking entrance to prevent non-guests from parking which was helpful. Elevator entrances were messy sometimes but cleaned quickly. Some guests are just slobs!! Some parents let kids run around unsupervised which made them be obnoxious.

The hotel is well located at a very walk-able distance from the most happening areas of town and right across the street from the Montgomery Convention and Performing Arts Center. The beautiful Riverfront Park is across the parking lot. Check-in was quick, simple and very hospitable. Car Parking is on-site and if you are able to find a spot within the Hotel's own compound it's FREE. Overflow parking is on the adjacent paid lot. Accommodation was an upper floor corner suite comprising separate living-dining room with sofa bed and a large private bedroom with queen bed. Beds, linen and towels were nice. The evening 5-7 pm Happy Hour with up to two complimentary cocktails / hard drinks on the house, at the Lobby Bar, accompanied by sumptuous snacks, is definitely a favorite among the patrons. We went on to order dinner from the in-house Restaurant, from our seats at the bar, and had no complaints at all. The food was as good as any. Morning hot breakfast spread had the most options we recently encountered anywhere. The live omelette stall was busy dishing out the best custom made to order omelettes. The Superlative Breakfast and the Happy Hour has to be the USP of this place. Overall Very Nice one-night stay. The downtown area is walk able , pretty and clean.

Furniture appeared little tired. Kitchen and Bath could do with updates. While already doing good, The Hotel has far superior potential with some refurbishing.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. The hotel smelled good, was very clean and was aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast's pancakes & coffee were good. The hotel's location was perfect- as I was in town for a tournament being held at the convention center.

The potatoes were not tasty at all. Also, it would have been a nice bonus to have a flavored creamer to be offered with the breakfast.

Loved the made to order chef omlettes. The manager & staff of the breakfast room were very friendly & area spotless. The overall cleanliness of the property was excellent! We loved the location to MPC & other attractions.

The elevators were malfunctioing--very disappointing. Also there were non-guest safety issues in the lobby-'pretty distressing!

This is the second year our family and friends have stayed at the Embassy for an event at the convention center. The Location is prime, the Breakfast is great, lots of options to chose from, we enjoy the bar area and snacks during happy hour with complimentary drinks, over all the Embassy has everything to offer ! We had a great corner room overlooking the beautiful historic train station and river.

I wished the parking situation was better and that you were not charged extra to park in the hotel parking lot we ended up having to park in the parking garage paying $10 and the walk over, we would have parked in Hotel parking despite the extra fee but it was already full upon check in. Parking and hauling all your luggage over from the garage in the August heat was a little much especially since the elevator in the garage was a broken down. Also it felt unsafe, with the grey hound bus stop there and people loitering around, the stair wells were really dirty in the parking garage.
