Everything was great, from the moment I got there I actually enjoyed my stay. The staff was the BEST, AND I WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT IT. The staff made me feel so welcome and actually informed me in everything that was new and up to date because I hadn't been back home in 10 years. I am originally from Talladega, but I stayed in Oxford because I used to work as a nurse at the hospital. To put the cherry on top, one of the staff saw me and said I looked like someone who had passed through earlier only taller. I jokingly said well I only look like my dad but he's in Mobile and I haven't seen him in 5 years so unless my dad (i said his name) just walked by then no I am all by myself. Found out that they was actually talking about my dad, him and his wife was there and they were staying right below me but he didn't have my new number so I contacted him through Facebook and he came downstairs and we talked and went to have a shot of bourbon and caught up over the last 5 years. These people at the facility do not just do their job but they are extremely family oriented, knowledgeable and pay attention to detail. They even noticed my Freemason symbol on my necklace , and a group of bikers came through that was sitting in the lobby. We connected and also found out we were also ex navy and were on the same base during some of the wars. This is the best place I have ever been. I am actually coming back to stay at the end of August for my family reunion. I will always return to this place because it is the best hotel and nothing beats it. I loved the gym and was able to work out as well still while I was there.

There was nothing there to like. Everything is over the edge, and they are naturally like this. Nothing is forced, they knew every one it seems by name. It was amazing that they knew my name and almost every guest that came in the door or left out the door. They need 10 stars seriously!!! They were better than any Hilton I have ever stayed at here in Dallas downtown.

We had a great stay at Candlewood Suites Oxford. The location was perfect: easy to get to, close to major stores and restaurants, yet still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and not crowded by other buildings. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and having a little kitchenette in the room was a huge plus. It really made our stay comfortable and convenient.

If I had to mention a couple of downsides, the pool was a bit small, and for the price we paid, we were expecting a continental breakfast to be included. Still, overall, we enjoyed our time and would consider staying again.

The hotel was newer and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff was nice. The free laundry was a nice addition.

The pool was too small. I ended up being charged for my stay 3 different times, on top of paying a $50 a night security deposit. I prepaid for the room on a card and when I got there and checked in they charged the same full prepaid amount onto another card that wasn't supposed to be on file. I was refunded that amount immediately. When I checked out they again charged the card that I prepaid with and charged the security deposit to again. I called and talked to the General manager and she said she didn't know why I was charged at check out but I should be refunded in 2-3 days

Clean and convenient to our venue. Our school was playing in the Alabama State Baseball Championship. Very friendly staff.

For the price of our stay, it would have been nice to have had a breakfast provided. We had to go to a nearby Chick Fa La and I noticed that some went to McDonald’s. They had prepackaged food you could buy and prepare yourself but, when you have a tight schedule that usually isn’t always possible. You did have fresh coffee in the lobby. That was a plus.

The room design was very well done. Very nice big shower, lots of hooks and waste baskets. Nice soap and shampoo dispensers. All the essentials were there and well located.

Refrigerator doors opened the wrong way. That is an easy fix. Staff seemed pre-occupied. Not customer oriented. My request for a room on a lower floor, which was confirmed weeks in advance, was ignored.

I was there for a car show I didn’t stay in the room much other than to sleep and shower. We will be booking a stay at this hotel for next year. It was perfect for us . We used very little of the accommodations but really appreciated that they were there.

Pool was closed and my kid was really looking forward to swimming after the show.

That dogs are allowed and sometimes where dogs stay sometimes hotels don’t vacuum well and I breakout from the hair. I witness one of the guest making coffee with the dog up in her arm over the coffee station.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Staff was very helpful, and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience.

The bed was big and comfy most important part of the stay for us only thing was no breakfast on Sunday morning but other than that the staff was great the room was awesome and perfect for our little weekend get away
