Stayed here for Talladega race. Super clean property, great breakfast included with stay. Even saw front desk staff working in breakfast area helping sanitize tables and stock as needed. Bed was comfortable, room was spacious. Super clean. Located next door to Cracker Barrel. Walmart and other restaurants within short walking distance. Nice patio area with fire pit and grill. Did I mention how clean this place was?! Will stay here again!

Option to pay at property upon check in was selected during booking. Card was actually charged at the time of booking nearly a week before our stay which is my only “complaint.” Be prepared to pay upfront at time of booking. Also rates are nearly double for race weekend, but that’s par for the course. Other than that, everything exceeded our expectations.

Just about everything was perfect at this hotel. Actually, everything WAS perfect because I can't even think about anything that wasn't. The breakfast was nice. The rooms were clean. The TV was easy to turn on. The elevators were in perfect working order. Parking was easy and ample. The location is great because of all the shopping, gas etc. I will definitely come back.

It was centrally located. Only a matter of minutes if not seconds to get to shopping and food. The ac in the room was PHENOMENAL! Comfy beds and pillows.

The whole place has a funky smell, my guess is all the carpet. My allergies were TERRIBLE inside the hotel. Both rooms smelled like mildew and just funk in general. The hallway also smelled this way. The blankets in the rooms could be thicker or offer more, just in case. The couches has stains on them that was suspicious, they should have been cleaned better or the fabric on the cushions could be replaced. Maybe this is a personal thing but what happened to housekeeping coming in to make beds and tidy up every day, is that not a thing anymore?

They had the most comfortable beds and pillows ever. We had two rooms and they were very spacious and clean. The breakfast was really good. All the staff we met were very nice. This was for my sister and grandson. We gave “experiences” for Christmas this year. So it was very important that things were good. We all had the best time and comfortable rooms.

When I made the reservation I requested our rooms be close together. They were not even on the same floor. I was very disappointed in this. Also, we asked for an extra blanket because my grandson wanted to sleep on the pull out sofa. We were told that they keep those in closets in the rooms. We had two rooms neither of which had extra blankets. We didn’t ask again because we talked him into just sleeping in the bed with one of us. I would have rated this place a 10 if my request of the rooms being close together would have been met.

An exceptional experience, perfect in every way. The luxurious bed is worthy of its own review, the comfort and linens rival any high-end property at quadruple the cost. The hotel is spotless throughout and the attention to detail in maintaining it is evident. I look forward to seeing Armando (maintenance lead) and Rocky (desk) on a return visit; both are so welcoming and thoughtful. -Leslie Smith

This hotel is so clean!! From the common areas to the rooms themselves we could tell that attention to detail is definitely a priority here!

The only thing that I didn’t like was the language barrier between the front desk and customers. The gentleman working the front desk when we arrived had difficulty answering questions and it was clear that there was a language barrier. Front desk personnel should be able to clearly communicate and understand the businesses customers.

The beds were excellent

The handicap rooms has a lot to be desired. Why you would have handicapped rooms on the upper floors doesn’t make sense. If there was a fire how you going to get people in wheelchairs down stairs?? The handicapped for the shower/tube was a plastic piece you slide across the tube??

It was a very nice place to stay but I didn't see anything romantic about it. Not a bad thing. Because everything else was great.

That the company would not refund my money when because of a glitch I reserved two rooms two minutes apart. Very unfair. We didn't use the room because we didn't need it. I tried to fix it within minutes of it happening. So it wasn't like they lost anything .. most likely will not ever stay there again.

The only reason why I am not giving them a 10 is that they are still cleaning up a burst pipe from last December so the carpet is missing in various areas of the hallways on each floor. Since this is now February I sorta feel like recarpeting should be completed, especially since it is in patches, not the entire floor. But the staff was very friendly and helpful, I didn't eat the breakfast because I didn't have time but it looked good! There is a fantastic little patio area complete with a gas fire pit and a BBQ Grill if you're doing a longer stay.

I believe the repairs could be completed by now.

The hostel was awesome. She was there when I checked in around 4:00pm, she was there and working hard at the breakfast serving. I requested a late checkout and she was there to check me out. This was all on Thanksgiving and the day after!! Awesome attitude!! This will be my go to when coming to the area!!

If I had to find something to complain about, I wish coffee was available in the lobby 24/7.
