Our family of five stayed at the Beach Roadhouse fo four nights. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. Todd was a great host and happy to answer our questions about the area. While in Haines we saw a moose, a brown bear, and lots of bald eagles. We also visited museums, picked thimbleberries, ate delicious Thai food, and drank great coffee.

It is rustic but it met our needs and we were all comfortable.

Location was awesome. It was a hundred yards or so from the Battery Point Trailhead. Beautiful walk through the rain forest ending up at beach and vistas. Close to Harbor, shopping and restaurants. Host was nice to talk to and had lots of tips about places to see.

Loft bedroom was nice but the stairs were a little squeaky. No tiptoeing quietly downstairs for a cup of coffee in the morning.

The house is beautiful, nestled into the forest. It comes with all the amenities you need. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. I would have loved to stay longer.

Guests are asked to clean the BBQ and the BBQ was not cleaned. Wouldn't wonder if the host wouldn't offer the BBQ anymore if guests can't clean up after themselves. Other than that, everything was spotless.

The room was comfortable, well equipped and nicely maintained. The hot shower worked well as well as the electric heater which proved handy in the chilly morning not uncommon in Haines even in the middle of summer.

The kitchen & fridge was rather small - but functional. No complaints there either.

Huge room, with a well-equipped kitchenette and enormous bathroom. Exceeded my expectations and was a very comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights. A mile outside Haines (which is a great little town) along some rough roads, but really peaceful and secluded. So glad I stayed!

Very quiet and close to downtown. The staff are very friendly and helpful courteous and understanding. This was my second time spending a night but first time on my account. Both my wife and I are actually scheduled to spend a two night the next time. We are actually booked. We love the place. Thank you James.

Owners are super nice and welcoming and made how stay easy and enjoyable. We really liked our days there. This is a simple but very charming, small, cabin resort. You can use their facilities like an indoor playroom and paddle boards, so that you have something to do in any weather. We rented a cabin with 2 separate rooms and found them to be spacious, very clean, and with very comfy beds. You can also use laundry facilities and the grill for a fun family dinner.

All was good. Nothing to complain about.

Location is great - just a short drive from the main downtown area and great views of the ocean close by. the kids enjoyed watching the bald eagles flying while lounging in the fire pit area.

The property is peaceful and easy to find. Our room was very clean, quiet, and the bed was super comfortable. Todd, the host, gave us nice restaurant recommendations. We will definitely stay there again!

Ease of checkin. Owner super nice. Spotless. Everything needed for a short or long-term stay. Great coffee provided. Bottled water dispenser in room. Very peaceful and quiet.
