We drove from Atlanta, Ga. Great Location, such nostalgia, rustic, and taking you back to the 1860's. Close to the Grand Canyon West Rim/Skywalk and Hoover Dam, Great bike riding to the Roy Purcell Murals, and all over. Just a down home nice place with great Host; Dean and Donna. We met many wonderful people in this small mining city. Just a awesome two days. Just blew me away! I will bring my daugthers back next time.

I enjoyed everything about my stay at Shep's Miners Inn.

The times we stayed here before were the Fall & Winter, so the restaurant was always open. We didn't know they were only open 4 days a week in the summer, so breakfast was delayed until we were 40 miles north. But we love the town of Chloride & will be visiting again.

The staff are extremely welcoming. It is a quaint charming please. At first we arrived at night and and was not too clear of if we arrived in the right place as it looks like a local area. But my children and I were quite touched by the people's kindness. They offered us complementary drinks and small snacks in the room for the kids

Great old mining village. No frills room, but clean & comfortable. A few snacks left for us & 2 bottles of water. Breakfast was very good (extra cost) in a saloon type building.

No meal available after 5, but were served a beer, & had free snacks in our room. Long dark road to get there if you take the wrong road.

Anyone who loves history and the American west will love this place! Lots of movies made here as well as lots of art and antiques. Very welcoming people throughout the town. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Always a lot of fun activities on the weekends. Unique rooms and decor. I stayed in the same room that Jack Nicholson stayed in while making a movie in the 70's. Very cool!

Great place, very nice people, good food and perfect location. We spent time in Las Vegas and New-York but this hotel was our best time in USA (for all of us - 4 people of all ages). We will come back and stay longer.

The manager couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The room was clean and decorated with antique furniture. Pet friendly.

Definitely out of the way. It's a ghost town and not much to do there. Population is under 200. The bed was a double not a queen.

They refurbished the old motel, which gave it that Route 66 vibe. There were a few areas that still needed some TLC, but otherwise, it was great. Meals in the restaurant next door were excellent.

Off the beaten path, ghost town style village. Beautiful views. Very friendly staff. The room, that was very clean, was ready and waiting for us. Fantastic Breakfast available at hotel restaurant in and older saloon style hall.

It is a rustic, and I think accurate representation of an 1860's Inn...but with all the comforts of home. If you seek an elaborate 5* room, then maybe seek something else. The food next door(I think part of the Inn) was delicious. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. Completely satisfied!!
