Clean, spacious, woodsy

Our room was downgraded the day before arrival due to over booking even though we booked 6 months in advance. The downgraded room did not work for our situation. After a long call and waiting on hold they found us an upgrades room for the week instead. It all worked out for the better but it was unneeded stress the day before we were leaving for the trip. I guess moving forward it may be smart to book a back up option at another property to avoid this scare again.

The room was spotless and had everything I needed. Perfect view from the patio and from the huge window. Close to trails, lakes, and the town. Every morning I woke up, made breakfast, and enjoyed the view. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of places to sit, stretch out, relax, and work. The bathroom was roomy and accommodating. There was a box fan ready for use, it provided white noise and a cool night, as the property does not have air conditioning.

The room I chose did not have an oven, but it did have a stove top and microwave, which was fine for my length of stay. I brought my own blankets, if I didn't I would have wanted additional linens.

Staff and crew very friendly. Help needed was provided immediately. Bed extremely comfortable. Haven't slept as well in yrs. Made use of game rm & available board games. We have a few favorite restaurants and a coffee shop. The area is beautiful, very friendly people. Resort very peaceful.

There used to be a stereo system that we loved playing our CDs and/or iPod on. There's no system to play music now. Really missed that. Living furniture has been revamped. Chairs & couch not as comfortable and just not as homey a feeling as before. That's a matter of taste.

Everything needed was provided from living room to bathroom. The Murphy mattress was too soft for me, but the sheets and blankets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, hand and dish soap was provided. Kitchen had what you needed for a quick breakfast, coffee, and tea. It rained and snowed the second day, but the electric fireplace made it warm and cozy. This was my second stay and I will stay again. The rooms are clean and the grounds are quiet. I enjoyed my stay. There is a large squirrel around the property and they have a crosswalk especially for him.

The kids stayed busy the whole time. Between hiking, swimming, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, the board games and the arcade! The rooms are spacious! Able to cook homemade meals (grill) instead of getting fast food or going to a restaurant. It’s 40 minutes from Hawley Lake!

The rooms didn’t have AC. But they do have fans available!!

The property was well laid out and taken care of. The 2 bedroom suite was well laid out, roomy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The patio and bedroom views were so pretty and peaceful.

No complaints besides not having AC, but it’s common for the area and we knew about it before renting here. It wasn’t too bad except between 3-5 and one night it took a while to cool down. It wouldn’t stop us from coming again.

Nice location. Edge of town but not too far from grocery store or restaurants Lots of deer. We were lucky to be on 2nd floor so we felt comfortable leaving windows open at night as days were warm

Their internet service was non existent. Internet service is a must these days. Many steps up to 2nd floor which is difficult for 78 year old people

This place is wonderful. It's got everything you need for a comfortable stay and the staff is all so friendly & helpful. The facilities are spotless & very well maintained. The property backs up to National Forest & is great for hiking!

Front desk ladies very accommodating getting us on the ground floor. Unit was very well set up. Kitchen had all the essential cooking supplies. Nice toiletiers and towels.

We had to pay for WI-FI. EASY TO DO, BUT VERY ANNOYING. JUST INCLUDE THIS WITH THE NIGHTLY RATE. Think that facilities forget everyone is not tech savvy.

Beautiful property! It’s been our annual northern getaway for the past five years. Traveling with our elderly mom. Office was accommodating with request for bottom unit made ahead of time. Clean, peaceful so much activity selection to do. If only you weren’t sold out in June and July. We would be up here more.
