The breakfast was pretty good; I had oatmeal and a bagel. The hot tub was great; the bed comfortable; two televisions, (tiny bathroom, but it was clean). Quiet hotel, cozy, well kept. Would stay at a Holiday Inn Express again.

I liked everything except Tusayan itself. Itis a tourist trap, everything is pretty expensive, and Wendy's was the best restaurant there. The restaurants all charged way too much for the quality of food you get. We paid $1.50 a gallon more for gas than it cost at any other gas station in Arizona. However, it WAS right at the entrance of the Grand Canyon and the hotel was great.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and it didn't disappoint. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and we were especially grateful for the lady attending the breakfast room who kindly fill our thermal flask with hot water every morning. Breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to our day. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator—adding extra convenience to our stay and making it a comfortable place to relax after a day out. The location was fantastic, with easy access to Grand Canyon National Park. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here once again!

The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, which could be improved. Overall, though, we highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Didn't get housekeeping but was only there 2 nights Somewhat cold- insulation didn't seem very good but heater worked well. It was -10c overnight but once heated up the room it was fine.

Large enough rooms for 2 adults and 2 children, comfy beds, large free parking, in a walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops, vary nice ladies helping with the breakfast, nice staff.

Breakfast itself was typical for the US hotels, more like fast food, not many fresh things and lots of sugar, but that we have seen in many places, so I was not surprised. All the TV sets in Holiday Inn are old school and I am really shocked that you still got TV's on which you can not share a content from a phone, per exemple:) Bathroom was kind of small for the size of the room and for 4 and not enough space if you need to stay more than a day.

The Holiday Inn Express Grand Canyon is excellently located for visiting the Grand Canyon. Having free parking at the hotel was great and it took us ~20 minutes to drive to the Grand Canyon Visitor Centre. Our room was a King Suite which was clean, spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The complementary morning buffet breakfast was excellent and the in-room complementary coffee from the Keurig coffee maker was great.

We were asked if we would like our room serviced during our stay at check-in and said that we would. However, our room was not serviced and we ran out of coffee and tissues (the box in the room had two tissues when we arrived) after the first day.

The breakfast and breakfast staff were tasty and extremely courteous. They engaged us in service and just in interest of our stay. The room was decent.

I would have preferred a better bed sheet combination. We were either sweating with the heavy comforter or chilled by a mere sheet. The room cleaning was limited. I was surprised that they didn’t make the bed and vacuum. More or less a towel exchange and empty garbage. For the money I expected more.

Very friendly staff and wonderful breakfast! The fresh cinnamon rolls are amazing! The location is as close as you can get to the national park without actually staying in the park itself. Very good facilities and services overall.

Not all rooms are similar in terms of value. We checked in rather late in the day and ended up in a first floor room facing an interior courtyard. Our room did not get much natural light and there was no view. As the hotel was fully booked, other rooms were not an option. We were only there for two nights and didn't spend much time in the room anyway, so it wasn't a high stakes issue, but is was a bit of a disappointment. For those with longer stays who intend be in the hotel room for longer periods, do keep this in mind.

The room was large and very clean, towels were great. The breakfast was really good-- hot buffet, cereals, yogurt, pancakes, fruit, bagels, muffins, juices. The breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful; they were outstanding. They really went out of their way to make you feel welcome and provide service. The front desk staff were efficient and helpful. We used the hot tub on an unusual snowy day in April; that was nice. (Extra towels were provided when asked.) Best of all, this hotel is only 1 mile from the south entrance of the Grand Canyon. The location is worth the price since the service is so fantastic.

More towel hooks are needed. Really, just a few "Command" hooks would have done the trick (on the wall near the sink, across from the bathroom). Since we didn't request room service, we re-used towels but hung them to dry on hangers.

The hotel is on the same road as the Grand Canyon. About seven minutes drive to the left of the hotel brings you to the entrance of the GC Park. I asked at the reception if there was a shuttle from the hotel and was told that it had been stopped, so better check if you are not driving. The breakfast was very good with a good spread. Room was decent as was the service. Good option if you don’t get a place inside the Grand Canyon park. There are only about three eating places nearby, a pizza and pasta place, a Mexican restaurant and a steak restaurant. And when you are in the Grand Canyon remember the lights go off at sunset all over. We had trouble finding our car. There are no lights, neon signs, fluorescent indicators leading to car parks. So get a GPS marker to find your way back.

Room was great. Chose the suite for more space it was more then adequate for my wife and I. Breakfast was really good with the variety of everything you could want and a kitchen/staff person who was very attentive in keeping everything fresh and available. Close to Grand Canyon Village with easy commute back and forth. Would highly recommend.

Extra coffee table or foot stool in front of the second love seat would have been nice. The love seats nice but not comfortable for lounging. Very minor detail...
