Such a cute campsite with lovely food van and easy to find and navigate. The staff were great before, during and after and helped us with all our questions. Definitely bring warm clothes, extra blankets and a sleeping bag so you can add warmth if the temp drops (it was near freezing when we were there), and opt for the heater with extra canisters! We enjoyed a night round a firepit with a couple we met and Joshua made us up a s’mores kit - such a treat!
There isn’t any running drinking water on site, so bring a supply of your own, and your own towels too - the facilities are pretty basic, and is probably best in the summer when it’s warmer.

The tent was awesome and very comfortable.
There are only 4 bathroom facilities which included a shower and toilet so if you needed to go to the toilet you had to line up and wait for everyone to have a shower before you could get in - maybe a few toilets would be a good idea

The location was amazing. The tent had a couple of chairs that we could take outside to enjoy the sky and the stars. It was a bit chilly at night but not uncomfortable, and the tents were well prepared for that. The common area was very nice, with lights and some games, and the welcoming person was very kind. She was even cleaning the bathrooms during peak time, while everyone was showering, making sure they stayed tidy
We didn’t know that towels were not provided, and buying them cost $10 each. Also, the tents are quite close to each other, so you could hear your neighbors at night

Such a great, unique experience! Great location, not too far from the Grand Canyon. The tents are nicely spaced out, so you know you're not alone, but you're not on top of each other. The bed was so comfortable and warm, which was important since the temps got down to the 30s! A solar powered lantern was included and perfect once the sun went down. The staff was wonderful and the food truck was a nice surprise. Because of the cold weather, we weren't able to enjoy the firepits and corn hole. Highly recommended if you love tent camping and appreciate a few luxuries while out in nature.
Nothing! Our experience from check-in to when we left was excellent!

The tents were very comfortable and showers nice and hot. There were plenty of toilets around the camp so we didn’t have to keep walking back to the main toilet block. It was a lovely peaceful location and the tents were thoughtfully placed to ensure privacy.
It was a little further from the grand canyon than expected but only took around 20 mins to drive there. Unfortunately the food offerings were unavailable which was outside the control of the hosts. They directed us to nearby options for dinner and provided us with drinking water.

Good deal for camping without hassle of putting up the tent. Large and comfortable, big bed , clean bathroom, shower convenient and easy. Awesome location for watching starry sky, milky way like you've never seen before.
Food truck was on maintenance the week we came we were informed barely the day of coming. Also ,no camp fires were allowed due to fire hazard. So all your can do for entertainment is watch sunset, watch the stars and go to bed. And the rough road to get to camp, make sure your suspension can take it.

We loved the soft beds and warm bedding. All of the employees I talked to were very nice.
I requested a tent close to the bathrooms and was assured by text that it would be fine. When arriving i was told that they couldn't accommodate my request and that the people texting me can't guarantee that. More communication needs to be done between these two parties. Our tent was one of the furthest away from the bathrooms. A 5 minute walk or 30 second drive. When arriving at the bathrooms there was a 50% chance you had to wait 5-10 minutes or more. You really need more bathrooms! The road getting there is one of the worst dirt roads I've driven on. It needs major maintenance! We saw multiple people with flat tires at the camp.

Wander Camp was a very nice simple camping experience. The tent was spacious and the host was ready to greet us when we arrived at 8:30pm. The location was remote (2 miles down a gravel road from the main hwy) which made for a nice quiet experience.
Main (minor) downside was that all the toilets are also showers, this means in the morning we had to wait a while to use a toilet due to everyone showering. If possible if would be great to have a few toilets that are toilets only and don't have showers for quicker throughput. Also maybe if you could find a way to make the generator a bit quieter (i.e. put up some kind of screen around it or put it further from camp, that would be great).

Location is lovely. They say on their accommodation description that they recommend a ATV or a AWD. We have a Toyota prius at home and I would have been 100% comfortable to drive this road to Wander Camp Grand Canyon. As long as you drive responsibly, I understand why they say it though. They do not want any trouble with their guests. So if you have a normal “city car” you should be fine to get there safely. It’s a bit bumpy (washboard road) that’s all.
Nothing really. Everything was fine and great. Especially the location.

My wife really wanted to see some stars close to the Grand Canyon. I did like how this was off grid so no wifi or large facilities. Our tent was very comfortable and the man in charge gave us a rundown of the place. There are small changing/bathrooms available and checkin was quick and simple!
We did have a lot of people arriving late into the night so was a little noisy and the 3 mile dirt road to get there was very bumpy to say the least, we didn't exceed 15 miles an hour so make sure you have a larger SUV or truck.
