It was a good kid and pet friendly option. The property had everything you could think of, pools, outdoor lounge with games, arcade, bowling alley, etc-bike rentals and also the purple shuttle to the Grand Canyon stops right in front. Our favorite was a free self serve fresh brewing Starbucks machine in the lobby.

I can’t say anything I didn’t like, but we didn’t stay long because we were on a tight schedule. I can’t say anything about the restaurant. Because we didn’t have time to eat there

Hotel location was perfect but the hotel was one of the only options available to us. The day we arrived was the same day that the hotel was undertaking a rebranding so signage was somewhat inconsistent and the rooms were still in need of updating and repainting. The lobby was updated and rebranded.

The breakfast was terrible: we found hairs in one of our meals including the replacement meal that was supposed to NOT have a hair in it. In addition, the wait time after ordering our breakfast was over an hour, despite other tables that arrived after us receiving their food before us. The food was also not prepared or served the way it was ordered or described. Hopefully all of those are growing pains from the recent rebranding.

Location was good & convenient to reach the Grand Canyon. Room & Bathroom were huge. Parking was easy. Refillable cold water machine at front desk.

Pillows are too flat, the coffee machine makes lukewarm warm coffee, no kettle in the room to make tea - they tell you to come out to reception! Fancy doing that when you’re in your pyjamas? No kettles available on request either (most hotels will oblige) and only paper cups for coffee with packets of sugar and plastic swizzle sticks all wrapped in plastic. This is not sustainable living, they should go back to basics with ceramic cups and steel spoons which can be washed and reused.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Holiday Inn Resort The Squire at Grand Canyon by IHG! We stayed for a couple of nights, and it was hands down the best hotel experience at the Grand Canyon. The facilities were top-notch — everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. We especially loved the variety of activities available on-site, including bowling and game rooms, which kept everyone entertained. One of the highlights of our stay was the free nightly s’mores by the cozy wood fireplace — such a thoughtful touch that made our evenings extra special. The complimentary coffee each morning was also a great perk, helping us start our days off right before exploring the Grand Canyon. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon — we can’t wait to come back!

We loved the proximity to the Grand Canyon, especially at the price. The meals from both restaurants were excellent (highly recommend the pizza from the pub downstairs); breakfast was a typical buffet but good for what it was. We also enjoyed the extra activities - arcade, bowling alley, swimming pool and hot tubs were all really fun bonuses.

The staff were variable in their friendliness/helpfulness - some were wonderful, but several were inattentive or not very helpful. The noise from adjoining rooms and hallways was also very noticeable. Fine for a couple, maybe harder for a family with little ones.

This is such a great contained little resort with all sorts of amenities, especially for families with kids. S'mores on the patio were a highlight, and the arcade was fun. We didn't go to the pool but they had activities scheduled there too. The breakfast was great, though there was a wait time which I hadn't expected. The room was the right size, and the beds were perfect and very comfortable. We're on a road trip and the only mistake we made was staying here at the START of the trip, because no where else on the trip has compared to how perfect our stay at The Squire was!

The wait time at breakfast; perhaps mention that can happen so people account for the extra time? The wait time at dinner at the downstairs restaurant by the arcade: we asked if we could wait in the arcade and staff said yes, but the volume was so high we didn't hear our party being called. Perhaps one of those buzzer things would be the solution? Or a TV screen on the wall with the name or assigned number of the group when it's their turn?

I will make is short and simple, we booked their to be closer to the gran canyon and Antelope canyon. So obviously our expectation for an hotel in the middle of nowhere was not very high. Well we were very wrong, first of it is not in the middle of nowhere, plenty of surrounding restaurants (even if they close early for our taste) and other nice spot to visit, second the hotel itself exceeded our expectations, from the room the arcade place the view, this is a very nice place to stay in if you want to visit the region.

Maybe the fact that there are not enough parking spot? But really this is just searching for something to write on this section. Like don't get me wrong there are a lot of spot, just not in front of the rooms you are staying at, so you might end up walking a bit. It happened that it was really cold when we visited.

Everything! I booked based on all the fab reviews of this location. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was not fancy but clean and spacious. And the beds were comfortable! Loved the heater in the bathroom. The offerings were vast. Loved the little bowling alley and arcade! So fun. The huge indoor pool and hot tub. The large chess pieces outside/cornhole/ping pong table were great. The little store inside with plenty of options for snacks and gift items. Also, loved loved the complimentary Starbucks machine in the lobby. What a nice touch. We stayed at a much more pricey hotel in Sedona and they only offered a basic keruig in the room.

The food quality for breakfast and dinner could have been a bit better. Staff were very friendly and nice though. The gym equipment offerings could have been a bit better

Location can't be beat!!! Loved this place!! The room was huge and roomy! The bed was cozy. I really enjoyed the hotel. Only thing I didn't like is how thin the doors were and people were constantly slamming doors! I thought the price was very fair and the accommodations were awesome! Indoor and outdoor hot tub and pool. We really enjoyed. The Fish & Chips at the little bar downstairs were not good but they refunded me. I also got a flat soda but they also refunded me. Service was wonderful! I should have gotten the cesar salad like my boyfriend because his was awesome!

It was all great, the food in the little pub downstairs was just okay
