Almost everything was as I expected. You can tell that the hotel is quiet new, so it looks very clean and modern. The room was very comfortable and quiet. There is a big parking lot right in front of the hotel. The ladies at reception are very kind :)

The biggest thing that bothered me was the lack of any sustainability awareness. All was plastic, the plates and cups at breakfast, the cutlery, You had to throw everything away. This is also in the room. This really struck a nerve with me, probably it is to save money on someone washing dishes. For a hotel rated this high, this shouldnt be happening. The breakfast was ok. There is bagels, waffles, jam, yoghurt… But I think some ham, cheese, vegetables would be great. There was some fruit, but once eaten, it wasnt replaced. The pool was quite shallow, small, and dirty… I tried it, but I got out quite quickly… There seems to be a lack of personnel, as the pool obviously doesn’t get cleaned and they use exclusively disposable dishes…

Downstairs lounge area is the best I've ever seen. They had a bar that served appetizers. Lots of spaces to relax and enjoy company. They had a gas firepit, and 2 gas bbqs for cooking outdoors. The breakfast was really good. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, quiche, Bagels, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, great coffee, and hot chocolate. At the front desk there was an area for snacks, ice cream, and microwaveable items for your room. The pool was heated, and jacuzzi was nice. They have a gym, and office space.

Water pressure was a little low in the shower. Wasn't able to get an early check-in.

For years we have stayed at another property because of its location to a particular restaurant and we used to travel with our kids (now adults). This property is such a change! Clean, modern, has a bar....great staff.

Really, nothing. This is our new go-to property and we go through Barstow 2-3 times a year, round trip. We will always stay here unless the prices become out of our reach.

Best hotel breakfast ever!

Although prearranged due to death of family member was NOT given correct fee to stay which was EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING AND VERY HURTFUL.( almost wasn’t able to stay!)

Wow this hotel is beautiful! It definitely seems pretty new, everything is well maintained, looks new and is super clean. The room was comfortable, the bed was great and breakfast was awesome! Lots of options!

Honestly, we had no complaints regarding our stay here. It was great.

Overall was very nice, especially happy hour. I thought breakfast was good.

Went to purchase two bottles of water for the drive home at 8:00am. Front desk person, doing nothing, stated I had to purchase through the kiosk. Why…what a pain. I just left the bottles and walked out

It's a newer hotel so it's updated and fairly clean for now, although the carpet needs cleaning. Breakfast was good too

Carpets everywhere. Different types of flooring is so much easier to maintain and keep clean. Although pretty new the carpet was dirty in some areas

We arrived after a long day of driving and were happy to have a simple dinner at the Fairfield. Angel was very responsive to our needs.

The price to stay seemed a little expensive compared to other Fairfield stays.

Nice clean property with comfortable beds, good hotel breakfast, nice pool and jacuzzi, as well as an excellent and friendly staff. This is a very pleasant place to stay at a very reasonable price.

It was very new and modern, very clean. The room was spacious and the two queen beds were very comfortable. Big modern bathroom and great shower. The food and drinks were excellent and good quality.
