Great hotel....great staff.....excellent value and location. I will continue to stay at the Redwood everything I go to Bridgeport which will be often.

I didn't eat breakfast at the Redwood. My only minor complaint has to do with their choice of toilet. Yes...I'm weird. However...unless you're under 5 feet tall...when you sit down to use the facilities get ready for a hard landing. The toilets are so short and close to the floor you land hard and need to rope off to get up! My suggestion.....16 inch toilets at a minimum. That's my only minor complaint.

Incredibly kind host with lots of recommendations for this area! Went to Travertine Hotsprings in the morning which was an amazing experience. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the complimentary snacks were great. Bridgeport is really what I picture in my mind when I think of an American town, in the best way possible. If you're looking for cute gifts and souvenirs from the area, go to Sweetwater Outback. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the area, highly recommend this place!!

Don't park under the tree unless you like bird poop!

I recently stayed at this motel for three nights. I decided on this property because of the price and location. I was checked in by a very friendly young lady (wish I got her name) who explained all the particulars about my stay. The next day I had a question and spoke to a nice older gentleman, he too was very helpful and friendly. The room was basic, but that's all I needed. It was clean, tidy and the water pressure in the shower was great. An added bonus was free ice for its customers, that was nice. I would definitely recommend Redwood and I'll stay here again if I'm in the area and in need of a place to stay. All in all a great stay at Redwood Motel.

It was comfortable for what we needed

Complimentary breakfast cakes purchased at a grocery store. Big box store would improve quality and variety especially to guests who manage life on low carb even if they traveled to Mammoth weekly. Emphasis on asking to limit fresh towels n room change with reward a cup of coffee at the office. Owner expressed limited use to conserve water, which I agree with, but more likely to reduce overhead cost after arrival. Remote batteries need to be checked and replaced as needed if people want to watch tv. Sheets and towels likely purchased at a used towels & sheets swap meet.

The staff greeted us with kindness, was willing to talk and give us a little advice on where to eat. After we checked in we took their advice and ate at the RHINO. It was good food and full of happy people. The room was clean, the shower was nice and hot and beds were comfortable. The room was cleaned when we were out and about the 2nd day. Check out was easy.

A kitchen unit and a hot tub would be a nice addition.

Loved that they had a fish cleaning station and the little extra’s that go along with it. Nice seating area outside your room. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. The morning danish and juice was a nice touch. Ice machine was convenient . Also liked that you had drinks for sale. Room and bed were comfortable. Definitely will be staying here again!

We did a lot of sight seeing and it was very comforting knowing we had a warm, quiet room to come back to. The office staff was very knowledgeable about the best places to see the fall colors. We had an issue with the TV and the lady with the awesome colorful jumper came to our room and gave us instructions on navigating the remote. .

Staff was helpful and friendly; almost endless free ice (50 lb. limit per person per day!); garden courtyard with outdoor sitting area; single-story building made for a quiet night; mosquito screen at doorway allowed door to be open on a warm evening; area felt quite safe to wander after dark.

The filter on the air conditioner hadn't been cleaned in a very long time.

Came into town for a wedding and the location was right across from the venue. It could not have been any better or closer. We chose to stay in one of their 2 travel trailers, which must have been recently upgraded as it was a newer model than in the pictures. It had USB ports next to the bed and a comfy couch as well as a dinette table on the other end. The trailer has a shower, but we didn’t need to use it. It was spotless, felt really nice inside, and was really comfortable. It was raining on and off on the day of the event so it was nice to be able to walk back and grab/put away umbrellas and jackets. Plenty of businesses (bakery, burger stand, bar, etc.) within walking distance. I didn’t realize they are dog friendly; we didn’t bring our dog but it’s nice to know that’s an option in the future.

Everything was great except that I didn’t know the check-in was at 3 PM. I was there for a wedding at 3 PM and I called management to see if they can possibly let me in a little bit early so my family and I could change for the wedding, but they couldn’t make the exception. Besides that everything else was great!
