We loved everything about our stay at the Kernville Inn. The location couldnt be in a more better place. I would very much recommend this beautiful yet quaint Inn. Whether youre traveling with your family or in the middle of a Ride with your biker buddies and need some comfortable shut eye for a few hours, rhe Kernville Inn is the only one you need to remember! Thank you go all involved with making Mike and my stay in Kernville the most pleasant ever! Well be seeing yall again... soon. Thx again!

The only thing i would change is 2 things: 1) the stairs leading to our upstairs room and the deck/porch didnt seem as sturdy as maybe they should be. Maybe hire a contractor who specializes in that sort of thing, reinforce that little area for ya.. just saying.. and 2) maybe cover the windows/glass doors a bit more.. although there were adequate blinds, we felt like we were being watched at times after dark. Probably didnt even bother any other occupants, but im just kinda shy.. ya know? Lol

You get your own patio and entrance. The parking is in front of your room. We were at Rm 167. The rooms are small but manageable. The beds are comfortable. The pillows were soft and fluffy. The shower stall was really small. The Inn was right in the middle of town. Everything was easily accessible, from the riverside park, to the restaurants. The AC worked really well. But it can only be 20 degrees below outside temp. We had it at 70 degrees the whole time, we were comfortable.

You can hear your neighbors. Thank goodness our noisy neighbor left after our first night. When other guests smoked outside their patio, the smoke went to our room too. Keep your windows shut, in case. There was a power outage for several hours, so we laid on the grass in front of our room until the power came back. The pool has no shade at all. The refrigerator was only a fridge, no freezer.

Clean property & friendly staff. Rooms are rustic with great AC. Laundy room available if needed. Parking right outside your room. Pool looked amazing but never had a chance to use it. Easy access to restaurants, shopping but most importantly the river! Go see Joy at What Ever, super nice and friendly. Got our inner tubs from her at a reasonable cost and she was kind to blow them up for us. Just down from the hotel.

Lights came through the blinds and was distracting when trying to sleep. Maybe blackout curtains would be a good idea too.

The hotel was very cute and rooms were very clean and updated not like some hotels. The person who checked us in was professional and the main lobby was very clean and smelled wonderful. The air conditioner in the room was perfect and worked wonderful as it was 90 outside.

I thought the bed was very stiff for my liking and my husbands, room was very small but wasn't a deal breaker for us as we were just spending one night. We would most likely get a bigger room next time if we stayed longer. This did not ruin our stay we still very much enjoyed our time there.

I pretty much like everything about this place. It wasn't my first time there as I used to work there 30 years ago and decided to bring the family to see the sites in the area. Even though it's not owned by the same people as it was when I worked there, it still has the same charm and friendly staff as it always had. And I love having the river and downtown emenities within walking distance without feeling like you are "in town".

The river walk was closed due to renovations due to flood damage from previous years.. But that's not the Kernville Inn's fault... Only real complaint I have is that the beds are a little too soft for my liking, I'm used to sleeping on a firm memory foam mattress and my back didn't like it at all. But is a personal preference on my part and the beds were nice and clean otherwise.

The Kernville Inn is a very pleasant old world motel in the delightful town of Kernville. The rooms are very comfortable; always well prepared on arrival. Even though it is a lodge-style motel, the WiFi is reliable and robust. Kernville has a reasonable set of dining options but you do need to check which establishments are open, and when. I also get the sense that Kernville has been "discovered" as a tourist destination and may get busy in high season.

The room needed a little maintenance attention. One lighting circuit is taped off; the plug on the wash basin seized closed so one could not wet shave with a bowl of hot water. These are minor niggles which should not put people off, but do need attention.

The staff were all super kind. The room we got was incredibly private, clean and very very cold (that AC was BOMBBBB). The location was amazing. Everything was super simple and straight forward. Thanks kernville inn for making our vacation stress free. We'll definitely be back.

The only thing that I would warn people of is that the locals don't take too kindly to young, brown alternative folk (if you know you know). But that is at no fault of Kernville Inn, yalls staff was amazing and welcoming.

This is an incredibly atmospheric place — quiet, beautiful, modest, and cozy. Everything is very simple, but you just don’t want to leave, you just want to stay here. The rooms are small but well-kept and clean, with amazing views. Everything you need is nearby: bars, karaoke, and restaurants. The pizza is excellent. This place feels like a little piece of paradise.

The room was clean and stayed clean, thanks to housekeeping.. The temperature of the room was perfect even in the heat of the day.. No loud and inconsiderate neighbors. This place was conveniently located within walking distance to eateries, the river, and a small farmers market. We didn't get to try the pool, but it looked clean from where I was standing at the office. I was checked in and out by two lovely ladies who made the process very seamless.

A nice little inn in the center of Kernville! Our room was spacious and quiet, and the bathroom seemed to be newly remodeled. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance of lots of restaurants, activities, and the local museum (which I highly recommend!). The pool was also very well maintained and nice to relax in after some adventuring in the local area.
