- We arrived to Motel before check-in but the room was ready and let us early check-in - Room was brand new, it was newly decorated and all the furniture was spotless - Beds were comfortable and bath was clean - There was room for about 10 cars parking but we always found a spot anytime we arrive - It says no internet, but WiFi was applicable and fast

- Even the rooms were new the sound isolation is an issue, you may hear the traffic or the next door rooms at night - After a few restoration probably price will be higher - Beds were made everyday, it would be much nicer if the floor was wiped in every 3-4 days

It's about value. Great establishment. Many features similar facilities lack at a greater expense. My only complaint is the parking which is first come first serve....presents a problem for late check-in's. Had to park around the corner on the street and walk back to the facility. Other than that, the best value in the Hollywood Area and the staff are very helpful and I appreciate that. Thank you, James H.

I made reservation and when I arrived I was in my room within 5 minutes. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. The facilities were clean and tidy. For the price I believe it is one of the best motels in Los Angeles. I highly recommend the H-Wood to whomever ventures close. You be happy you did!

Parking was restrictive. But- first come first serve makes everyone eligible for a good parking spot!

I like that everything was close by the walk of fame didn’t really have to go far to find places 

The room was perfect. Just one thing the bathroom was a bit small but everything was good. I don’t really have nothing to say about the hotel. 

Overall had a really nice stay. Affordable price, decent rooms, and loved the location despite some interesting characters in the area.. (hey, welcome to hollywood)

The pool only gets a few hours of sunshine on it during the day and was cold as ice

The location was great. Literally only about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the Walk of Fame. Price is on lower side compared to others in the location. Room was comfortable. Overall you get what you paid for. The reception guy was really nice and gave us a little early check-in with no extra cost because my mother was so tired from the travel that she could not wait the extra three hours to check in by herself. There was no specific Lobby or place to sit so I first I was worried on where my mom would be for the next 3 hours until she's able to check-in. Also they do not hold luggage . But he let her get in early so I'm glad my worries were for nothing! This little service by itself made me feel very grateful already. I would definitely consider staying again in the future.

The neighborhood itself is a little shady with its shady residents. But that is obviously out of control by the motel staff.

I ate breakfast elsewhere. Convenient location. Housekeeping was very thorough.

The outlet at the sink needs to be replaced. The plug of the hairdryer that's provided kept falling out when I used it. Also, I noticed that there are at least two electrical strips that had several devices plugged into them. This is an electrical hazard and could cause a fire. The room, #110, needs to have at least two outlets with space for four plugs, installed.

Super friendly staff! Was happy to see there was a fridge!

No real complaints. A little concerned about what looks like mold in the bathroom, but otherwise clean.

Staff very accommodating. For the money…it is the best deal in town!

I was on the first floor, the travelers upstairs were loud and disrespectful. Almost to the point of “call the police!”. But, I believe it to be an isolated incident; my second night was peaceful. Thank you H-Wood!

I'm a returning guest so I must appreciate what this property offers.

The in-room lighting was harsh and not adjustable or able to be dimmed.
