Location great! Clean- newly renovated, nice

Extortion if you ask your bags to be held- $20/hr! If you pay to stay for at least a few days the hotel should hold your luggage when you can’t help that you have a late flight!!

The Hotel is situated in a perfect location, very very easy to walk to all the tourist locations. The Hotel itself, was clean, tidy and very modern. The only negative thing to say about this Hotel is, the rooms are not soundproofed, and there was a lot of noise during the night, and early in the morning. You can hear other guests using their bathrooms, running water, and staff/guests walking around. We had a room on the ground floor, and we could hear the front desk phone ringing during the night, all these noises did keep us up during the night. We also felt the extra charge for parking, should've been incorporated in the room charge. The staff here were very friendly, and very helpful, and helped with booking a tour around LA & Hollywood. Overall, we had a good stay, and would probably stay again, maybe in a room furthest away from the noise.

Amazing location! Just off the Hollywood blvd near Mel’s diner. Walking distance to sunset and Santa Monica blvd. Great value for money and rooms are clean and looks exactly like the pictures! Lots of space as well. The staff were also lovely. Our checkout was at 11am but they allowed us to leave our baggage with them until we had to leave at 4pm so we could go sight see! Would definitely recommend/stay here again!

No fault of the hotel but the area can be a little sketchy at night if you’re not used to it! My partner and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the hotel after dark. It’s less than a minutes walk to Hollywood blvd but I noticed as soon as you’re off the Main Street it immediately feels more sketchy.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights that we were in LA during Christmas. The reception is open 24hours and the check in process is very smooth. There is street parking available nearby (8am-8pm). They have limited parking available for a fee. The reason we chose this hotel in Hollywood near the walk of fame was that it is close to a lot of attractions and at an affordable price compared to other hotels. The room was clean, spacious enough to manage for 2 people. Toilet was spacious enough to manage with a bathtub and toiletaries were replinished everyday. The heater worked great! Complimentary hot water, coffee and tea are available near the reception. There is a 7-11 at a 3 mins walking distance. There are restaurants and cafés at walking distance!

3 people can also sleep in 1 room but the hotel doesn’t allow triple occupancy. This 2 storey hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so you may need to carry your bags if you get the upper level. There is no view from the room and the windows do open a bit.

At first I was skeptical on booking because the hotel had no reviews anywhere. I can be honest to say the outside looked questionable as well. Before arriving I went to target and bought my own towels, alcohol and Clorox wipes! I wa just prepared for the worse. I then saw after saw a few pictured of the room and hotel and thought it wouldn't be so bad. You might be thinking why would I still take the risk and go there but it was last minute booking and I wanted to stay near to my family. The customer service began the second I booked. I booked at 8PM and right after booking I received a message requesting my arrival time. Once. I arrived around midnight, I was happy to see that the doors were locked and that I had to ring a bell for entrance. Checking in was a breeze. I was given a room on the first floor, which I didn't care for but didn't mind after my stay. Once I got in the room, I was happy to see that it looked just like the photos! I started spraying the sheets with alcohol, wiping the counters down with the Clorox wipes and the bathroom. All to see that the the wipes were still white, which means to me that they passed the clean test. 15 minutes in, the room phone rang. To my surprise, it was a welcome call from the front desk. The woman who checked us in asked if I needed anything and if everything with the room was okay. I absolutely loved the check in because I in fact needed something. Only thing I wanted the morning was coffee, in which they explained that they had just opened.I gave them grace on what they did not have because I know they would eventually get it. This hotel did right by me and is perfect for anyone who needs somewhere to stay for a few nights. I am looking forward to when things are done completely but I say book. The customer service and cleanliness did not disappoint. Thank you Hotel Rubra for having me.

The room was big with a comfortable bed, the coffee machine was great in reception, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, the shower was powerful and it’s in the perfect location right next to the Hollywood walk of fame! Very easy access to the metro aswell.

The floor seemed to be a bit dirty even after housekeeping attended and we still haven’t received our deposit back from a month ago. This isn’t aimed at the hotel but thought it worth mentioning that the area of this hotel in Hollywood is FULL of homeless, litter and smells of urine. There was a tent right outside the hotel during our stay. Not very comfortable walking round late at night!

This is a new hotel with new rooms and facilities. Only 2 floors but the rooms has ample space and big beds. Great location just a few steps from the hollywood walk of fame and meteo station. They also offer coffee and tea at the lobby. The staff are all nice and welcoming. They are a big help with our luggages. Highly recommended for tourists.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and equipped with a TV that supports YouTube and Netflix. The hot water pressure in the shower was great. The hotel is very close to Hollywood Boulevard, making it perfect for sightseeing. Overall, it’s a great hotel for the price.

The room was somewhat cold. It might have been due to my unfamiliarity with the controls, but although there was a heater, the airflow was too strong, making the room feel dry quickly.

Everything was very good from check in to check out. All staff that we dealt with were very helpful and the location was just amazing. Very quiet at night even though is so close to everything. Walking to public transport was also great, 5 minutes away. The room was spotless and our 4 night stay was made even better as we had the room cleaned after 2 days, all bedlinen and towels were changed. Exceptional, would definitely recommend and will use again if I go back to Hollywood.

I was booked at another accomodation and cancelled my remaining accommodation. Rudra hotel was 3 minutes away. I was surprisingly pleased by how good Rudra hotel was. The hotel is fairly new and fresh. The bed was amazing. It was good value for what was advertised in that category.

Hollywood location. The hotel was great but I would probably stay in a location like Venice beach as that suits my interests.
