The staff were amazing! We loved the location and the facilities available to us. Our kids loved the snacks and ice cream machine. The parents loved the free laundry room! So very welcome after a long trip to be able to wash clothes when needed. The Magic Castle is the perfect spot to stay in LA.

Our only concern was that we had limited information after we were evacuated due to the Runyon Canyon fire. We were able to get out of the hotel well, but in the confusion, we did not have to have any direction on where to evacuate. A tough situation for the hotel, but it was very stressful for visitors to LA who had nowhere to go. Management was exceptional in discussing our concerns and feedback when we were allowed to come back and could not have been more welcoming or helpful.

Pros - the staff were all incredible! Seriously, I could not have asked for better customer service! My grown kids said that it was the best hotel ever because of the ice cream machine, pop machine, fancy coffee machine, and complementary snacks. My daughter was so impressed she had to buy a popcycle hotline t-shirt (which they sell at the front desk). The walk to hollywood Boulevard is about 5 minutes. There is a subway station about 8 minutes away on Hollywood Boulevard that you can take to Universal Studios (it is one stop away) We 100% will be back !

The sketchy neighborhood is totally out of their control. The outside of the building is run down, which freaked me out when we pulled up. (Once you are inside the "hotel compound," it feels very safe and clean) They do charge for parking. The breakfast has no hot food, just toast and cereal. Also, carrying heavy bags up and down stairs sucks as there are no elevators. (The absolutely amazing man at the desk when we got there carried some of them for us, which was so kind) The pros FAR outweighed the cons, and the service and fun freebies made the stay so memorable. We are excited to come back to this hotel in the future.

This hotel was incredible. Some of the best customer service we have EVER experienced. Some of the top reasons; We were greeted with champagne and sparkling cider depending on age upon arrival They have a complimentary laundry service and your laundry comes back in a cute little paper package with dried lavender on top The popsicle hotline was our kiddos favorite along with the frozen yogurt Cartoons and movie night was a blast Kevin and Breanna at the front desk were incredible hosts who ensured every need was met!!!! Thank you Kevin and Breanna for going out of your way to ensure our family had anything we might need!!!!

We’ve stayed at Magic Castle Inn a few times and always have a great experience! The staff is amazing — Darren and the front desk team were so kind, and the Kevin was fantastic. The rooms feel like one-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and comfy beds. They offer free snacks, drinks, and a complimentary breakfast, which is a big plus — especially for families. There are lots of perks for kids, too. And the location is perfect — close to all the top tourist attractions. Great service, great people, great place. We’ll definitely be back!

Everything! Our family had a 5 night stay at the Magic Castle Hotel and felt like it was a home away from home! The staff are so down to pool is heated to a beautiful temp, complementary snacks, breakfast and laundry facilities. We had the most time and I’m so glad that we chose the Magic Castle Hotel to spend our last few nights of our trip.

Nothing, the stay was amazing and I highly recommend to anyone considering staying!

The location is great for the classic Hollywood experiences. The continental breakfast is a nice feature, although I would prefer to have access to more proteins; the 24/7 coffee maker is a great boon The staff is unequaled in attitude and service!

The bedroom proper was a lot dimmer than I prefer. The windows are almost full width of the exterior wall (rm 102), but the particular geometry just doesn't allow for much light. There are only two heavily shaded lamps whose controls were not immediately easy to locate and operate That is even more problematic in the evening when trying to dress for a night out.

This is our 3rd visit to the hotel. I couldn't find a room on their website for the dates we were going to be in Hollywood. I decided to try Booking.com and was so happy to find the perfect room!!! We love the unique style of hotel, great location to safely walk over to Hollywood, and the customer service desk and snacks are a hit for our family.

Our bed was a little uncomfortable. Also, there was a group above us that was very loud until about 2:00am. We were fine to hear them be loud. I was concerned that something was broken. It sounded like they were moving furniture all over the place. It was clearly kids in there. Not sure if there was an adult to supervise.

Great location close to Hollywood Blvd. 10 out of 10 for the hotels hospitality from the moment we arrived. Drinks on arrival and the kids very very spoilt with all the free snacks, soft drinks and ice creams. Breakfast was simple but great. We had to leave one morning early and staff were kind enough to organise breakfast for us earlier. The pool was great. Nice free laundry facilities

The room was clean but basic for the price. 3 kids didn't quite fit on the sofa bed, however the hospitality of the hotel outweighed all of this.

The overall experience is the best we have ever had. No the rooms aren't very fancy, but the staff goes above and beyond to give you the best time. Their friendliness together with all the extras, like the heated pool, the free snacks, the popsicle line, movie nights etc makes it the best experience ever! The kids didn't want to leave. Thank you SO much for everything!! We loved staying with you!

Wow, what didn’t we like about the property?! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like we weren’t just another booking, but a special guest. The kids were in absolute heaven, from the popsicle hotline to snacks on demand. I really appreciated the drinks and breakfast and my fav thing was the wide variety at the mini bar in my own fridge that was locked from the kids. I can’t say enough about how much we loved this hotel and can’t not wait to get back.
