I have a very high standard. Everything was excellent! The hotel is clean, accessible, in the best and most central location! Adjacent to HaKohavim Avenue, connected to a mall with amazing and innovative shopping, the hotel has a bar, restaurant, cafe, car rental. Everything was perfect! A clean, spacious and tidy room, with all the conditions. for an amazing view. I want to thank the entire hotel staff for perfect hospitality and service! I will recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you!

Excellent location, very close to subway, local bus service and bus tours for Hollywood, Santa Monica, Los Angeles Downtown and Celebrities Tour. You can visits all three municipalities using these tours buses. We got a good deal from the corner beside the entrance to subway, for two days tours which included all of these tours . Good location for pictures with Hollywood Sign, quick access to Universal Studio and other touristic attractions. Loews Hotel was very clean and comfortable with employees very well trained, professional and polite. The hotel has good food at their Bodega. We have not used their restaurant. Plenty of restaurants and fast food around the hotel, as well as various clothing and food stores. We used to buy at first hour in the morning a good vanilla coffee from 7 Eleven across the street, very good hamburgers at In-N-Out Burger or a good hot soup at Chick Fil A, both in 10 minutes walking from Loews Hotel. For hotel room snacks lovers, there is a Target after corner with all you need. A plus note for the taxi driver booked through Booking.com. It is the first time I used Booking.com for taxi service and I recognize I was a bit concerned prior our arrival in Los Angeles Airport. My concerns went away as soon as the driver communicated with us via phone messages once we landed. He directed us through the airport to the outside meeting point from where he took us to hotel. He was in time and very polite providing a very comfortable service . His name was ARI with a blue Mazda. Ask for him when you book the taxi, and you will not be disappointed. We used local transportation ( buses and subway) which have a convenient schedule and the cost is very accessible with TAP card ($18/week plus $2 for card when you buy it first time).

Too many homeless people on streets, subway and buses. It appears that municipalities cannot eliminate or at least to reduce the number of them, reducing the stress for tourists. This is a general matter in Los Angeles, Hollywood, and a bit less in Santa Monica.

The location is fantastic, especially if you don’t have a car. It is a block away from the walk of fame and the subway, and walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl and In n Out Burger. We upgraded our room for $100 and had an unimaginable view of the Hollywood sign and hills. The beds were super comfortable and luxurious. The swimming pool was magnificent. And the seafood taco in the lounge was amazing.

It was pricy especially for a Canadian. I was surprised to see some deterioration in the suite. Specifically in the bathroom. A very rusted brass stopper in the sink and extremely chipped bathroom cabinets. Even just a splash of paint on the cabinets would have made it less obvious. I took pictures of both if you’d like to see them. Also I could not access the safe to store our passports. It was dark in the closet it was stored and I couldn’t remove it. I also thought the hall carpets looked dated for such a high end hotel.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL, NICE VIEWS AND CLOSE TO WALK OF FAME

ITS NOT THE HOTEL'S FAULT, BUT THE WALK OF FAME HAS BECOME AN UNSAFE AND "FAMILY UNFRIENDLY" FROM 4PM ONWARDS. WOULDNT RECOMMEND WALKING AFTER 4-5PM THERE. THERE IS A LOT OF DRUG ADDICTS AND HOMELESS ON THE STREET AND IT FELT UNSAFE WITH CHILDREN (AND UNSAFE AS AN ADULT).

I stayed at Loews Hollywood Hotel for 10 days with my 15-year-old daughter and overall, we had a great experience. We were upgraded to a room on the top floor, which was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was especially amazing — so much so that we’re still missing it! The location is fantastic. It’s right next to a subway station, which made getting around the city super easy, and the connected shopping centre was a convenient bonus. We used the gym a few times — while it’s on the smaller side, it was quiet and had a good range of equipment for our needs. The pool was great too — clean and well-maintained, and even in July, we never had an issue finding a lounger. We didn’t use the restaurant or other facilities in the hotel, so I can’t comment on those. But for what we did use and experience, we were very happy and would definitely consider staying again.

Location was amazing, I was a little worried when I drove up because the area was so busy. I thought it would be loud. Once inside, the hotel it was quiet, peaceful even!!! We opted for a king room for my daughter and I because it was about $400 cheaper than a double!! Room was big! Plenty of space!! Super clean!!! We ordered room service for breakfast on our last day while will relaxed and packed. The breakfast was good, nothing special, a bit pricey for pancakes and a breakfast burrito $77 but the service was great!!!

Parking was $55 a night!!! We did read in other reviews to park in the garage ourselves, which we did. That was $20 a night and we always found parking in front of the elevators. Quick elevator ride to hotel level.

I really enjoyed the location of the hotel, as it is centrally located, right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Another great feature was the indoor parking – although a bit expensive, it was definitely convenient. We also loved that the hotel is inside a mall with shops open until late at night, which made us feel comfortable and safe, especially since there was security everywhere. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, from the 24-hour front desk to the valet outside who welcomed us and assisted with the car. Even at the parking area, everyone was very accommodating. The housekeeping staff were also very polite and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. In fact, we received an upgrade since I had requested a room with a view of the Hollywood sign, and because no such room was available, they offered us a bigger one, which was beautiful and very spacious. Overall, this is a large, safe, and welcoming hotel with all the amenities you could need. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again!

What we didn’t like was the carpet. Besides the fact that it made moving our luggage difficult – especially since we had large and heavy suitcases – it also had a strange smell, both in the hallway and inside the room, which was unpleasant. Another thing that wasn’t convenient was the shower, as it didn’t have a handheld shower head. This made showering a bit uncomfortable, because we always had to get completely wet, while sometimes we would have preferred to use it more locally.

The hotel is very grand, is built really well, and has a great team of staff who are very helpful. It's located right near the Hollywood Walk of fame and very conveniently located near the Ovation shopping mall too, which has events now and again. It's also a 2 minute walk away from the Hollywood Highland Metro Station which is on the B-line (or red line) on the Metro. There's a rear entrance to the hotel which connects directly to the mall too, and is accessible via the Mezzanine floor (again really big and spacious area, where their conference rooms and restaurant are). I stayed on the top floor, it being 20th floor. The views were superb and I could see both the Hollywood sign and Downtown LA, I'm really happy I was provided this room. The gym is fairly equipped, and the swimming pool is warm throughout the day and night. The gym is accessible 24h a day. I didn't try the restaurant, but the breakfast buffet looked really good with a lot on offer. Also the room service menu had some incredibly appetising menus on it, I regret not trying the room service whilst I was here. Water bottles are available for free if you want, and there's a chilled water dispenser in the gym if you want to fill up. The Concierge is helpful and knowledgeable of the local area and most of the staff can also advise. Room tip: If you care about the view from your hotel, ask for a higher floor room, and with the window facing out from the entrance side of the hotel, this will enable you to see the Hollywood sign and/or the Downtown LA buildings, as well as the sunrise.

If I was to be harsh, I'd say that my room windows were never cleaned throughout my stay and I ended up cleaning them myself with a towel. Bare in mind this is me being quite harsh. Other than that one really minor thing, there's not much else I can think of that went badly here. Overall it was a success.

Hotel was in an ideal location. Couple of minute walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Great views to Hollywood sign. We used the pool on 5th floor which was heated and nice and popped into the gym which was well equipped.

We were on 16th floor with views of Hollywood sign… the windows needed cleaning. You could still see of course, but when you’ve paid for a view, it would be good to clearly see out of them.
